In the region of Tamara, there is a group of shady people that saw everyone as inferior to them, and they wanted to spread their believed superiority around the region. They formed an alliance called Team Yami, whose goal is to find a way to use the power of Primal Pokémon to inflict fear into the people of the Tamara region until civilians submit to them. Seeing this, the Tamara League Champion, Jynn, creates an alliance of strong Pokémon Trainers called Team Valor, in hopes to rebel against Team Yami and drive them out of the region.

Rules

- All KH13 RP rules apply here.

 

- There should be NO legendary Pokémon in ANY character's party WHATSOEVER. We want to be fair to all the other players (this is the Pokémon equivalent to god modding).

 

- NO DIVINE ENTITIES! This is a Pokémon RP, so there is absolutely no reason for a god to be in this RP.

 

- It is not mandatory, but you are allowed play as a NON LEDGENDARY Pokémon like you would a human character, but you must create a character sheet. The Pokémon must either talk, or use telepathy, but that ability must come natural to that Pokémon. I would ask if you could please not play as a Pokémon that somebody else is RP'ing as, however you can have the same Pokémon in your party as an NPC. I will only allow five playable Pokémon. Once the quota is reached, all future requests to play as a Pokémon will be rejected.

 

- No controlling other people's characters without permission, including NPC Pokémon.

 

- I will allow romance, but please keep it PG-13.

 

- Mega Evolution is allowed, but do not abuse its power and claiming a one-shot (I have seen this in other Pokémon RP's, and I do not want that to happen).

 

- DO NOT DOMINATE THE PLOT! Nobody is superior to everyone else.

 

- Not so much a rule, but I would appreciate it if everyone would post at least once every week and a half so everyone can keep up with the story. If you don't think you can do this, please let me know, so we can figure out what to do with your character.

 

- I understand I'm a little late with this, but if you have lost interest in the RP and you're interacting with another player and they need to wait for you to make a post, please, Please, PLEASE let me know! If you don't, not only are you not participating in the RP, but you are also holding back someone who probably WANTS to participate. And if you are that player who is stuck in an interaction with someone else who hasn't posted in a week and a half, PLEASE let me know so I can talk to the other player!

Bio: Jynn was born to a wealthy family, and he was able to learn very fast. When he turned 10, he and his Riolu, Utopia, set out to conquer the Tamara Pokémon League and defeated the champion. Appearance: An abnormally taller, yet very much healthy Lucario. He stands 5'7" from toes to ears and weighs a hefty 150 pounds.

 

Personality: Friendly but sometimes strict around others, extremely observant, careful, suave, clever, intelligent, docile when he's not in battle.

Bio: Utopia was hatched by Jynn's parents when Jynn himself was first born. Utopia and Jynn grew up together and developed a very strong bond. As he was growing up, he learned to speak English, and learned it at the same rate as Jynn did. When they first set out on their adventure, they overcame many challenges to get to the Tamara Pokémon League. Jynn and Utopia's strong bond proved too much for the Champion, and was quickly defeated. Now with the looming threat of Team Yami, Utopia and Jynn both run Team Valor. Utopia is a very strong and intelligent Lucario, and he has been known to train Jynn's Pokémon, and has gained vast knowledge about moves and types during Jynn's first adventure.

 

Extra info: Utopia's bond with Jynn is so strong, he is immune to all PokéBalls.

Pokémon Go is great and all, but it kind of destroys the main focus of Pokémon; battling. You can't battle wild Pokémon or your friends. The only way you can "battle" is if you go to a gym in the game, and when you do, the Pokémon automatically fight each other rather than using types to your advantage, which is kind of upsetting. I see this game more like a Pokédex than an actual Pokémon game. What do you guys think?

At least you find some pokemon nearby I've been leaning out my window trying to catch an Eggxecute in my neighbor's yard for the past 30 minutes.

Apparently Pokémon Go is coming out sometime today in the U.S. Although, I'm kinda disappointed that it only features Gen 1 Pokémon at the moment.

I can't get Pokemon GO on my phone, my phones a bit of a throw back haha

I'm totally fine with it begin 1st Gen as Vaporeon's in it haha but I know that their going to be adding the other Gens one after another in time so thats good to hear. As for what I think about Pokemon GO, I think it's mainly just about catching the pokemon rather than anything else. Cause if the whole battling thing from the games was in Pokemon GO I think we'd get annoyed to quickly by having to stand wherever the battle started until the battles over, but then again I don't have Pokemon GO so what do I know haha

I cannot wait to get in on the action and join the battlefront.  I have little to no experience in Pokemon battles except within the games, but it'll be fun seeing people's styles.  Also, I'm loving that Lucario and Garchomp action.  Very interesting tactics lying in wait there.

An interrogative statement for all of the Valour-ites out there:  if anyone is stationed in Pyro Town, I'd love to start a battle with him or her, maybe even engage in a doubles battle with Noirtier and two others.  If you are interested, please let me know!

You've a good point right there, mate, regarding Pyro Town.  That heavily explains why nobody has posted anything in response, *sheepish grin*.  I'll try to make a challenging trainer to contest against Noirtier once I am able to get another post onto the site.  Also, I apologise in advance for my poor Pokémon battling.  It has been so long since I've done a roleplay like this.

Haha I've got that pokemon pro thing on my 3DS so I'm able to check heaps of info on any pokemon, it's a good thing to have I must say. Also maybe you could create some battles against Kai's dad or just random towns people, or shopkeepers, or traveling pokemon trainers visiting the town.

Okay, what did I miss?

 

Okay man, so heres whats gone down so far. Noirtier will soon be arriving within Pyro Town followed by Kai with a bunch of team Yami grunts in hopes to take control over that town while both Jynn & Quinirus are at Maelstorm cave about to face off just after Jynn beats a bunch of his weaker grunts. As for Ray & Aaron they were heading to Pyro Town until Ray saw Dawn's Noibat & Ray currently throwing an empty pokeball at it thinking he can catch it not knowing it's already caught. As for Lexy, she is asking what James whats in return for info on her eevee. As for Electra, she is currently checking out the Timeless Ruins soon finding & heading down a staircase. As for Alana, she is currently heading somewhere. I believe I covered everything for ya K man
