Is this how friendship supposed to be

Posted

I have a friend. He was from another city. We both were not that close but we respect each other. He was close to people that valiu celebrity life and with guys who were very popular (we were living in dormitory because My school was a boarding school).

One day, when everybody had gone back to their own city, including his best friends, he stayed in the dormitory alone because he had to wait for a couple of weeks for the college-application announcement. Well his city is very far away and he can't afford to go home before the announcement so he decided to live in the dormitory alone

Well as his friend, I decided to bring him to my home so he would get a better place to live and a better food to eat, but that's not what I'm trying to say, what I'm trying to say is

"Where the hell is his best friends that live in the same city as me? Are they forgetting him? They didn't even offer him a place to stay"

So this is how friendships turned out to be.

Maybe they had no room for him. I know this sounds like a lame excuse, but it's more than possible. Also not every person is that caring and supportive, like you here. That has nothing to do with being best friends or not (okay maybe it does), but that's just how some people are. I mean some people just show it more than others how much they care for a friend. Doesn't change the fact though that they do care.

For something like this, it's not just one person you have to consider.  His friends probably live with their parents, and then that decision isn't really up to them.
