Gameplay elements that I think will make khux better

Posted

1. Having the ability to scroll up and down medals just like using the cards in re chain. This'll make the game less repetitive by letting the player have more control over the metal deck then the game itself

2. the ability to dodge attacks with the swipe of your finger instead of having to take the hit from the enemy

Think that's about it

I don't really see a point to the second one since the overall goal is to beat enemies in one turn. You wouldnt be using it very often. The first one would be nice, although we would need to be able to equip more than 5 medals (6 if you include assists) for it to really have a point.

lol "metals"

I would like to see the first one but the second one would take away the strategy side of the game.

I think both of these take away from the overall strategy of the game; if you could select the rotation of the medal deck, you could could just customize it to the point of ease. Now it forces you to work out a strategy based on what you actually have, not what you'd like. And dodging is pretty pointless, since this is a pointedly turn-based game style (although I could see there being some sort of "defend" option like you see in many JRPGs).

That would actually be pretty nice. I'd also like to make more in-game opportunities for collecting Jewels and price drops to make the game a little more F2P-friendly, as well as a more sophisticated Avatar customization engine so that you can mix and match pieces of various outfits (like a shirt from one set and pants from another), more facial expressions, hair/eye colors, the in-between Keyblade designs that KH X has but Unchained oddly leaves out, give better chances for getting those gosh-darn super special chocolately awesome medals that are just so essential to doing anything in this game, defense mechanics (are we EVER going to get that Reflect ability that X has?), multiple chances for getting Avatar costumes, more options to at least check out other parties and members to see if it's worth joining/switching parties instead of just going in blind (do these people have the medals you'd like to borrow or do these particular players go here, etc.), and for pete's sake just let me use friend medals in the Coliseum, okay!? I know I'm supposed to use "my own strength", but come on, a lot of these are impossible even with all 6-star medals!...ahem, plus some more events similar to the X experience.

You know what?  These are pretty good elements that could make the gameplay of Unchained X even more fun!  The ability to be able to scroll between medals would be nice, as it'd give another layer of strategy!  Like, if I have a Poison medal at the end of my rotation, I can simply go to it and activate the medal first, so I can have better chances of poisoning the Heartless!  And dodging would also be a welcome mechanic!  Good on you for thinking about this, Zeldablade! :D
