Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Coming to PS4 Pro in December

Posted

As most of us know, the PlayStation 4 Pro, previously known as the Neo, was officially announced by Sony yesterday at the PlayStation meeting. The more advanced version of the PS4 would feature faster processing and a much better graphical experience.

During PlayStation Asia's conference, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8's logo was shown on a screen along with multiple other titles as games confirmed to be available for the PS4 and PS4 Pro upon their release.

Why these games are probably all coming to the PS4 Pro:

"...according to leaked documents, from October 2016 all new games released on PS4 must offer a Pro mode to offer visual and performance improvements, whether it's a resolution increase or new graphical features."

Those logos were not PS4 Pro games.. They were upcoming PS4 games in general.

'Leaked documents' show that all games release after September 30th will release on the Pro, which is 2.8's case. However, those logos are no indication of 2.8 or anything going to Pro. NBA 2K17 releases on September 20th, which debunks any of that.

This is basically like saying '2.8 is coming digitally' since all PS4 games require a digital release.

I never said they were PS4 Pro games. I said they were games that were to be PS4 Pro ready.

EDIT: Perhaps I should've made that more clear. I'll go back to the original post and clarify that.

Yeah, no worries. I mainly directed that towards the source article you have, since they are speculating that 2.8 is basically confirmed due to trusting leaked documents and the logos shown of upcoming games.

I suppose this could suffice as more solid evidence. (Although it does still talk about leaked documents)
