Eh, the gameplay graphics looked the same to me, but it lagged/dropped frame rate more often than Days did. The cutscenes (both voiced and sprited) were quite an improvement, however.

IMO, the Re: coded cutscenes with the sprites were a shame, I liked the Days styled ones more.

Of course, could be because I like everything in Days the most.

I really never understood this. The sprite conversations basically meant you could actually see the characters face doing things, instead of those weird blank stares everybody gives you in Days...

Yeah, actually seeing expression is why I liked it more. Now if they had been able to do un-voiced cutscenes like in, say, KHI, I would have preferred that.

But the expressions of the characters appear in Days next to the speech bubbles http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-neutral.png

True, true. But I just preferred to see the expression on the character models themselves, not in the speech bubbles. Don't get me wrong, I loved Days, but this was one of the few things that annoyed me.

Yes, but if you're watching the speech bubbles, why would you prefer Days' cutscenes? The animation part had blank faces, and if anything, the fact that the faces in the textbox don't match AT ALL with whats going on in the animation just makes it weirder.

Ok, there are SOME moments where the face doesn't match the scene but those are obviously because the translation from English to japanese wasn't perfect.

I'm talking about the blank stares the models have. Those never match with the faces shown.

I am quite pleased to hear about an HD remake of the older titles. The series certainly deserves it. I certainly hope that along with the new pretty pictures, they update the combat systems to be on par with the newer titles. Also I would love to see the content that we missed in the Final Mixes make it to the Western Community. And maybe the possibility of the Twilight Gem actually existing in this game lol.

What is this Twilight Gem you speak of? Oh btw,did you like all KH games? Or is there one or two like say Re:coded that you didn't like?

The Twilight Gem is a synthesis item in KHII. I have no idea where you get it (I have zero), but I have a feeling it is in Twilight Town.

The Twilight Gem is, like stated above, a synthesis item in KH2. I have been searching for this gem since the game came out. it is the only thing keeping me from 100% completion. I am begining to believe it doesnt exist. Who knows, maybe they were all sent to "The World" to forge the Key of the Twilight.

As for the games I have played. I have played all of them except Re:Coded. I loved every one of them. I was told mby numerous reliable sources that Re:Coded was murdered by camera glitches and a quirked out battle system. So rather than spending my money and being disappointed, I watched the cutscenes on youtube to get the story info I was missing.

to get a twilight gem you have to beat the Assassins they have a 12% of dropping them so equip lucky lucky to all the party members and equip the weapons that have lucky lucky as the ability. to find Assassins you have to go to The World That Never Was and go to the area where you meet up with Kairi and Riku again.

I have spent HOURS farming The World that Never Was. I have double Lucky Lucky equipped to my entire party. That Gem refuses to appear.

I hate to dis-credit your so-called,"reliable sorces",but there was no glitches or "quirked out" battle system. It,for me,was flawless and fun.AND worth my money. But as we all already know from the hate of Re:coded and days, people have different standerds for games, and in which mine are VERY LOW for some reason.I just love a game no matter what, then again, there rly is no reason to give Re:coded so much hate.Must be the economy!

i am disappointed with all of the hating on Days and Re:Coded. both are wonderful games and excellent additions to the KH family. sure the graphics werent amazing in Days, but the story was interesting and emotional. as for Re:Coded, the story also was good. it did explain how Mickey found out about Ventus, which id like to think is rather important to KHIII. the graphics were a major improvement from Days, and the camera did get annoying at times. overall my favorite DS game of all time. and all this talk of Twilight Gems, i have some. Grinding Final Form snagged me some.

Actually, the graphics in Days were the best thing about it, they're about asa good as it gets on the DS (Unless you do 2D)

Exactly, days and re:coded honestly don't deserve all the hate they have http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png
