Kingdom Hearts 3D sales information for Week 3, 4 & 5

Update 2: The sales information for the fifth week of Kingdom Hearts 3D's release, April 23 through April 29, have been released. Kingdom Hearts 3D sold 9,284 copies during the week, making for a total of 298,953 copies sold in Japan.

Update 1: The sales information for the fourth week of Kingdom Hearts 3D's release, April 16 through April 22, have been released. Kingdom Hearts 3D sold 12,881 copies during the week, making for a total of 289,668 copies sold in Japan. As you can see, Kingdom Hearts 3D is on its way to become one of the top selling third-party titles for the Nintendo 3DS!

Thanks to Media Create, via Neogaf, we have game sales information in Japan for the week of April 9 through April 15, 2012. During this week, Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] managed to sell 20,977 copies (again making it the second-most sold title in the week), for a total of 276,788 copies so far. These numbers are extremely impressive for the Japanese sales of a third-party Nintendo 3DS title, so it is quite promising to see Kingdom Hearts 3D still going strongly!

Though the number seems so small to me. Yeah it's a smaller country, but still. x'D

This isn't strong. Not one bit. The Sales should be near 400K right now for it too be strong. :S

It's strong for a third-party 3DS title in Japan. Have a look at http://www.vgchartz....2/nintendo-3ds/, and specifically the Japan column. KH3D is already among the few highest selling third-party titles.

Selling 18K the second week is still pretty bad. VGChartz isn't also the most reliable source.

Gotta keep in mind that KH isn't as popular in Japan compared to here.

It'll sell like crazy once it reaches us.

It sold 40k in the second week. VGChartz Japanese sales are based on Media Create, the exact same source that this news article is based on (and is accurate).

Again, can we just agree that if KH 3D would have been a console title instead of a 3DS title, the sales would have been a whole lot more than that ?
