Nintendo to handle KH3D sales, marking & distribution in Europe

Nintendo have announced that they will be handling the sales, marking and distribution of Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. This was revealed in a press release from Nintendo, seen via Nintendo Life. Thanks to CardCaptorDeadpool from KH13 for the tip.

Update: Square Enix Europe have announced that, due to their earlier decision to not translate Kingdom Hearts 3D into Spanish, Nintendo Ibérica (Nintendo of Spain) have decided not to distribute the game. Instead, the game will be available through select retailers in Spain (in English language). They released the following statement:

Following our recent announcement that Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] would be localised into English with English, French and German subtitles only, Nintendo Ibérica has taken the decision not to act as distributor for this game in Spain. For those who still wish to buy the English version of the game in Spain, it will still be available through select retailers and it will be on sale from 20 July 2012.

We understand that there has been huge disappointment from fans in Spain, as well as other European countries. We completely understand this and we are sorry that we have not been able to fully satisfy all the fans needs for this version of the game.

I was there 2-times on holidays :D

but yeah....besides the 2 missing subs...a lot of EU countries doesn't even get the game ...only the 5 standard countries....

Bulgaria gets all the games, but usually with a huge delay. Lets not mention that like 99,99% of the games (or maybe even more, idk, i've seen only one-two games that support Bulgarian) don't support Bulgarian nor even Bulgarian subs. Well, i don't actually want to play any games in Bulgarian though, it feels kinda.. unnatural.. oh well, that's how i learned English in the first place, so yeah xD

But Nintendo isn't doing the translations, right?

It's just marketing and distribution, that means it'll be way cheaper for Square Enix to bring KH3D in europe.

And that way, Nintendo will also do this for KH3 on Wii U, if that happen.

Well, you're right. I thought Nintendo did everything of KH 3D in Europe (including subs).

Darn... I wonder whats going on of why they are not dubbing the game in German, French, and others languages... Something must've happen... :(

Nintendo did well. But now, just a few shops will sell the game in Spain, and I hope I can get the game before it use up :S (Sorry if I write badly).

I'm really sorry for all Spanish fans....(an Italian fans, too)

Now it's personal, Square Enix and Nintendo... =_= I'm part Italian and part Spainish, and with both of those countries not getting the game in neither dub nor sub gets me mad. And I also feel bad for all of the other countries not getting it in their language, or even the game at all.

(Sorry Bulgaria!)

They worked so hard to get it out quickly that they forgot other languages...O.O why couldn't they just say that? xD
