Box for Kingdom Hearts III PS4 Slim revealed; special Sora theme available

PlayStation Japan have tweeted the box for the limited edition Kingdom Hearts III PS4 Slim. You can check out the pictures of the box in the gallery below.

The console was revealed back during the Tokyo Game Show in September. The PS4 Slim is available in both the 500GB model for ¥33,890 and the 1TB model for ¥38,980. Both versions are now available for pre-order at the Sony Japan Store. A special Sora theme can be downloaded from the product code in the leaflet included in the product. You can check out the theme in the video below!

The content of the product includes:

  • "KINGDOM HEARTS III" PS4® top cover
  • "KINGDOM HEARTS III" Original theme for PS4®
  • "KINGDOM HEARTS III" Original design package for PS4®
  • Wireless controller (DUALSHOCK® 4) Jet black (CUH - ZCT 2 J)
  • Mono Headset
  • Power cord
  • HDMI® cable
  • USB cable

The top cover only was also available, but it has currently sold out.

It releases on January 25th, 2019 for Japan. It hasn't been announced for the West at this time.

This just makes me want it even more. I already have a pro but I regret not waiting to see if this was going to release over here first. Oh well, either way the game will still look beautiful while playing it!

    That is one awesome PS4! Too bad it's a Japan only :/

    On a second note... there are 9 frames on the PS4 Theme... possibly hinting at 9 Disney worlds in the game? And if Pooh it's not counted as one... can we expect 2 world reveals? Hopeful thinking I guess XD
