KH Central did a video and he nearly recreated this theme to a point on a program for free. Square being lazy again. Better not complain otherwise I'm an ungrateful American. (Insert Kermit the Frog meme) But that's none of my business though.

Nah, they just have more important things to do than worry about some static theme they might not even have permission to use.

 

Square Enix always makes decisions about avatars and themes ages in advance and once that's done there's no changing it. I even personally asked a SE Europe employee about this in regards to the Lightning Returns avatars and that's basically what he told me.

I think it looks crap 

I like the icons (adding that wee crown) but seriously, just pasting the cover art beside their standard checked pattern?  No wonder it's free, it's lazy.

I love the standard checkered pattern. It's amazing. I use it for most backgrounds on my personal items anyway.  :biggrin:  :biggrin:  :biggrin:  :biggrin:  :biggrin:
