Yoko Shimomura hints at possible HD 1.5 ReMIX soundtrack

Yoko Shimomura, the composer of the Kingdom Hearts series, has Tweeted regarding the possibility of a soundtrack being released for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. Shimomura stated that it is not yet determined whether or not they will release a soundtrack for the game, and said that a soundtrack will be more likely to become a reality if people voice their desire for it.

London Expo 2013

London Expo 2013 is an event being held in London this weekend. Square Enix have confirmed that Kingdom Hearts merchandise will be available at the event for purchase and display via their Square Enix Products Europe Facebook page. You can view all photos from the event below, in our gallery.

GameTrailers' "Kingdom Hearts Timeline" video released

In February, GameTrailers teased an upcoming unofficial "Kingdom Hearts Timeline" video. This is the second video in GameTrailers' timeline series, which goes into great depths in explaining the story of a video game series. Today, GameTrailers have finally released the full video-- 52 minutes long, this video explains the story of the whole Kingdom Hearts series, and finishes up by speculating about Kingdom Hearts III. We wouldn't normally post a news article about an unofficial video, but we felt that this was so well-made that it would be worth sharing with everyone. Enjoy!

KH13 video archive updates for HD 1.5 ReMIX, 358/2 Days & Kingdom Hearts II

Recently, we have updated our Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days playthrough archives. And we have also updated our Kingdom Hearts II, Japanese cutscene archive. These archives are now up-to-date.
Here are the updates in detail:
- Our Japanese HD 1.5 ReMIX playthrough archive has been completed with the addition of 100 Acre Wood from Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Riku's story in Re:Chain of Memories and videos covering the new cards in Re:CoM along with Roxas' Diary, Secret Reports and Character Profiles from the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days portion of the collection.
- We've added a complete playthrough of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days' Japanese version.
- And we've also added all the pre-rendered cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts II's Japanese version.

Kingdom Hearts II manga Volume 6 cover art & release date revealed

Square Enix Gangan have revealed the cover art and release date of Volume 6 of the Kingdom Hearts II manga series. Volume 6 will release in Japan on May 22, 2013, and its cover artwork can be seen below. Volume 6 was originally set to release on April 22, 2013, but has since been delayed. We apologize for any lateness in reporting this.

HD 1.5 ReMIX to release on September 12 in Australia + Limited Edition confirmed

EB Games Australia have updated their official page for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. The page confirms an Australian release date of September 12, 2013. The Australian version of the game will include the same pre-order bonus as North America and Europe, in the form of a "Limited Edition". The image showing the artbook is slightly different to the North American and European versions. You can view it below. EB Games also confirms a PG rating and the price AU $68.00.

HD 1.5 ReMIX limited edition artbook to be 24 pages long

Mathew Kishimoto, the Marketing Coordinator at Square Enix, has revealed new details concerning the pre-order bonus for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. In comments on the PlayStation blog, Kishimoto revealed that the limited-edition artbook will be 24 pages long, and approximately the same size as a PlayStation 3 game case. Kishimoto also confirmed that the collection will contain a single trophy list that includes trophy levels for all three games. Thanks go to SHAZOW from KH13 for the find.

HD 1.5 ReMIX to release on September 10 in NA & September 13 in Europe/PAL territories + pre-order bonus

The official Kingdom Hearts portal has updated to announce that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX will release in North America on September 10, 2013, and that a pre-order bonus will be available. The pre-order bonus is a limited edition artbook, and will contain concept art, character designs, and other artwork.
In addition, Square Enix Europe have announced that HD 1.5 ReMIX will be available on September 13, 2013 in PAL territories (Europe, Australia & New Zealand), and that these regions will receive the same pre-order bonus.
A sneak peek at this artbook can be seen in the image below. This image confirms that the North American and PAL game covers will use the same artwork as the Japanese version of the game.

Here are the updates in detail:
- Our Japanese HD 1.5 ReMIX playthrough archive has been updated with the Hades Cup and secret boss battles from Kingdom Hearts Final Mix along with Sora's story in Re:Chain of Memories.
- We've added a complete playthrough of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days' English version.
- And we've also added a playthrough of Kingdom Hearts Final Mix which is almost complete, the final parts we'll be added when they're uploaded.
