In anticipation of this great day, KH13.com will be running another competition to give away a free copy of the English version of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX! Entering the competition is simple. In order to enter the competition, you must make posts on our forum. The more you post, the better the chance you have of winning! Here's the exact procedure:

1. At the end of each day, everyone in the top 20 of the the list of the day's top posters will receive 1 entry in the competition.
2. You can receive many entries in the competition! If you're on the top posters list on multiple days, then you will receive multiple entries in the competition. We'll keep a detailed list of entries here. Remember, the more days you appear on the list, the higher your chance of winning! Also, please be aware that the Roleplaying, Forum Games and Random forums are not included, and that we will disqualify anyone who makes "spammy" posts.

Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] updates coming, will link to main series' story

The latest issue of Famitsu Weekly magazine, releasing on August 29, 2013, has included an article on Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]. This article has revealed new details about future updates coming to the online browser game, as well as a special comment from series director Tetsuya Nomura, where he reveals that they plan to deliver a story that ties in with the main series. This seems to confirm that Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] will have some canon aspects!

Kingdom Hearts χ released in July and are you guys enjoying it since? It is free to play so please feel free to try it by all means.
This title from the series feels considerably different and there may be some of you who are puzzled. I think, play it slowly without rushing. The title has only been around for a few months and gradually we will add more elements that will appear in the future and we also plan to deliver a story that leads to the series.
It has more than you might dub as Kingdom Hearts, of course I have some surprises in the future. Please pay attention to the behavior of a mysterious person.

Defeat the Guard Armor and get an item!
As a reward, you get limited avatar items below and you can get a rare attack card. It should be noted that in this Raid Boss, it’s possible to get higher points by targeting a certain area.
In the series, it was necessary to deal with many parts of the Guard Armor such as the hands and the feet. In this game, this strategy holds the key to defeating it.
You can get a Namine Card and other new cards that will make an appearance!

HD 1.5 ReMIX pre-launch event announced for London on September 6

Square Enix have announced a pre-launch event for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. The event will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (BST) in London, United Kingdom. Those that attend will be able to play the full game.
Executive Producer Shinji Hashimoto & Series Composer Yoko Shimomura will in attendance to sign autographs. Official Kingdom Hearts merchandise will also be available for purchase.
There will also be a Photobooth where you can get your picture taken in a Kingdom Hearts world of your choosing, such as: Destiny Islands, Olympus Coliseum and 100 Acre Wood.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX has appeared in the September 2013 issue of Game Informer magazine. Although no new information is revealed, the article does seem to contain a couple of new screenshots of the English version of the game. HD 1.5 ReMIX signed lithograph contest detailed

At E3 2013, Square Enix announced that they would be giving away lithographs signed by the director of the Kingdom Hearts series, Tetsuya Nomura, featuring Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX artwork. Square Enix have now detailed this content on Facebook, describing how to enter.
The contest only available to people living in USA or Canada, who are 13 years or older and have a valid Facebook account. In order to win, you must leave a single comment on the Facebook post stating your favorite memory of playing the original Kingdom Hearts. The full set of contest rules are available here. HD 1.5 ReMIX official game guide announced

Amazon.com have listed Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX: Prima's Official Game Guide, and are now accepting pre-orders. This confirms that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX will have an English-language guide book. It will be released on September 13, 2013 for US$24.33, will be hardcover, and will be 488 pages long.
Update 1: Amazon.com have updated their listing for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix: Prima Official Game Guide, the official English game guide for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. The release date of the guide has been changed to September 24, 2013, and the following details about its contents were given:
Collectable hardcover printed on high-quality paper • Detailed walkthrough covers Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories
• Labeled maps show the locations for all items and secrets
• Checklists for all collectables to achieve 100% completion

Coverage: Kingdom Hearts at gamescom 2013

gamescom 2013 is a gaming event held in Cologne, Germany, running from August 21 to August 25, 2013. This is our coverage article for everything Kingdom Hearts at the event. Square Enix have confirmed that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX will appear at the event with a playable demo.
Also, Kingdom Hearts III is said to appear as part of the scheduled stage shows' trailer shows. This will probably just be the trailer from E3 2013, but there is a chance we will receive some small new tidbits of information.
We will be constantly updating this article with coverage from the event.

Kingdom Hearts themed pencilcase being produced

Hidemi Matsuzuka has revealed that a special Kingdom Hearts themed pencilcase is being produced. Hidemi uploaded a photo of the pencilcase to his Twitter, and this photo can be seen below.

Update 1: Hidemi Matsuzuka has shared new images of the pencilcase and accessory pouch, and these can be viewed below.

Square Enix have also updated the e-STORE listings of both items (accessory pouch | pencilcase), revealing that both will be released on August 31, 2013. The accessory pouch will be ¥2,200 (approximately US$21.29), while the pencilcase will be ¥1,800 (approximately US$17.42). Thanks go to aibo_ac7 and Weiss from KH13 for the find.
Update 2: The release date of both items has been delayed to November 15, 2013.
