Stephanie's work in the Kingdom Hearts 3D soundtrack

Stephanie, the vocalist for two tracks in Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] ("TWISTER -KINGDOM MIX-" and "SOMEDAY -KINGDOM MIX-") has offered her thoughts on the tracks and the Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance Original Soundtrack. Stephanie Contributed 2 Tracks to Soundtrack for Popular Game Kingdom Hearts 3D, Now on Sale A soundtrack with contributions by bilingual singer Stephanie is now on sale.
This soundtrack is a compilation of many hot-blooded tracks from the latest Kingdom Hearts title, a popular series by Disney and Square Enix.
Kingdom Hearts is a popular RPG series that has shipped over 17 million copies in total worldwide. Yoko Shimomura, the composer responsible for the music for this popular RPG series Kingdom Hearts, also contributed once again. Takeharu Ishimoto and Tsuyoshi Sekito and everyone representing the game orchestra also contributed. And, adding further colour to this mix, Stephanie contributed.
The two tracks that Stephanie contributed to were ‘Twister-Kingdom mix’, Disk-1 Track 3, and ‘Someday-Kingdom mix’, Disk-1 Track 9.
Stephanie herself has already sang many theme songs for games and anime in the past, which is why she naturally stepped in to work on this title too, and would have even if it weren't such amazingly popular series.
Stephanie commented about her work:
“For this title I recorded with composer Mr. Takeharu Ishimoto, which had a great impact on me. Mr. Ishimoto’s musicianship has unique personality, and I think he has the power to bring out something special from the artist working with him on a piece. While recording for this title I was engulfed by the sensation that ‘something’ that had been sleeping deep inside me was flowing out. I was like, wow, I had no idea I had that side to me. During recording, things never came to a halt because of this or that between us, it really felt like a ‘sensitive collaboration’. I have so many memories from this title, and it’s such an honour that tracks I sang are included in a Kingdom Hearts soundtrack. I hope this is an opportunity for people who didn’t know me to discover my work, and I would be so glad for all of you who already knew me to experience a new flavour of me. Everyone make sure to listen, okaaaay ♪！”

Kingdom Hearts 3D to appear in Game Informer with Nomura interview

According to The Silent Chief, the June 2012 issue of Game Informer magazine has included an article on Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance]. This article is said to contain an interview with the director of the Kingdom Hearts series, Tetsuya Nomura. The article and interview have not yet appeared online, but it is definitely something to look forward to! Make sure to pick up a copy if you can, since it will surely be an interesting read. ESRB updates with explanation of rating for Kingdom Hearts 3D

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has updated with a page for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance], explaining the reasons behind the E10+ rating received for the game in detail. This can be read below.
Rating: Everyone 10+ Content descriptors: Fantasy Violence
Rating summary: This is an action role-playing game in which players control Sora and Riku, two characters who travel through dreams to stop an evil villain. Players use magic spells and a large key-shaped sword to defeat animal- or spirit-like creatures and classic Disney villains (e.g., Monstro the whale, Ursula the sea witch); some attacks result in colorful explosions and shockwaves that dispatch multiple enemies at once. Comical yelps can be heard throughout, and damage is indicated by depleting health meters. Some cutscenes depict other perilous situations (e.g., a woman getting rescued from being burned at the stake; a man getting struck in the chest with a sword).

GameStop confirms Kingdom Hearts 3D pre-order bonus & North American boxart

GameStop have updated their pre-order page for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] with a section detailing the pre-order bonus that comes with the game, as well as the final version of the North American boxart. The pre-order bonus is the exact same bonus that Amazon.com is providing, so we can probably assume that most retailers will be giving it out. Kingdom Hearts 3D to appear at E3 2012

E3 2012, perhaps the largest gaming event for English-speaking audiences, runs from June 5 to June 7, 2012 this year. While it was already extremely likely, we now have a confirmation-- thanks to IGN, we know that Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] will be making an appearance at the event. Kingdom Hearts 3D pre-order bonus details revealed

Amazon.com have updated their pre-order page for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] with more details about the pre-order bonus that will come with North American pre-orders of the game. Thanks to KHInsider for the tip. You can see an image describing the bonus below. As you can see, the pre-order bonus is a set of three AR cards, including the following:
- One (1) wild AR card that will randomly unlock Sudo Neku, Meowjesty or Ursa Circus
- One (1) AR card that will unlock R & R Seal
- One (1) AR card that serves as a 360° viewing stand for your Dream Eaters

Awesome! It's great these bonuses being released outside of Japan. In case you missed it, this image also reveals the following names of Dream Eaters:

Kingdom Hearts 3D rated "PG" under Australian Classification system

EB Games Australia have updated their pre-order page for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] with the final version of the game's boxart. This reveals that under the Australian Classification system, the game will be rated "PG" for "Mild fantasy violence". This is, of course, similar to the ESRB (American) rating of E10+, and the PEGI (European) rating of 12+.

Kingdom Hearts 3D playable in English at London MCM Expo

The London MCM Expo is a gaming event held in London, running this year from May 25 to May 27, 2012. Thanks to 3DS Buzz, who are attending the event, we now know that Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] will be appearing with a playable demo in English. This demo is apparently playable by the public, so we definitely recommend that you attend the event if possible! You could be one of the first people to play the game in English!
