Nintendo conference at E3 2012 set for 9AM June 5, 2012

According to RichIGN, Nintendo have set the time and date for the conference at E3 2012. E3 2012, of course, runs from June 5 to June 7, 2012, and is perhaps the largest gaming event for English-speaking audiences. Nintendo's conference at the event is now set for 9AM on June 5, 2012. It is currently unknown if we'll see Kingdom Hearts at the event, but it seems likely that Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] will receive a mention, and possibly some new English footage. There is also the small possibility that the recently announced "upcoming Kingdom Hearts announcement soon" could be done here. This is just speculation, but either way, the Nintendo conference will definitely be something to look forward to!

Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] Ultimania coverage

Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] Ultimania, the official guidebook for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance], released today in Japan. Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] Ultimania is said to contain a lot of information and secrets about both Kingdom Hearts 3D and the future of the Kingdom Hearts series. We will keep updating this post with more information about the book as it appears.

Update 1: A post on 2ch.net has revealed some details about the interview. Thanks to FF-Reunion for the tip, Sky from KH13 has translated the details below for you.
-- Does the "Secret Message Unlocked" in KH3D hint at KHIII? Nomura: About that, I'll leave it to your imagination. Well, you'll get the answer for that later.
-- Does the last light from the credits form "III"?
Nomura: I can't tell the details. I made that out as a way of giving my secret message.
-- KH3D FM?
Nomura: Maybe in a few years, but no plans for it right now. The Osaka team is really busy. ＼(^o^)／
-- Is BbS Volume 2 = BbS2?
Nomura: I used "A Fragmentary Passage" without regard to its context. What I mean is, there's a story for Volume Two, without using that scene. I can't say there isn't a possibility of making it, but there are no plans for it right now.
-- The Mysterious KH = 3D?
Nomura: We interrupted titles in 3D, and we haven't reopened that discussion yet.

Update 2: Another post on 2ch.net has revealed even more details. Sky from KH13 has translated this below.
- There are lots of familiar characters among those hidden by the black coat on the seats at "Where Nothing Gathers". - There are hopes of using Pixar titles.
- Can't talk about time, but the new KH Series Title is already being worked on. There may be a possibility of announcements of some sort shortly.

The mysterious KH: No plans about producing it. Bbs vol.2: No plans about producing it at present. Team Osaka: Currently busy with some titles. New Title for KH: Can be announced shortly.
Update 4: goldpanner has translated the summary of the Tetsuya Nomura interview from FF-Reunion. You can read this translation below.
There's an interview with Tetsuya Nomura in the KH3D Ultimania that went on sale today! From the interview: They don't have any plans for BBSV2 right now, trust your imagination with the Secret Message, there's no plans for an FM for this title, the mystery KH project is stopped because they did KH3D, please look forward to whether the 7 lights are those 7 people, lots of things have already started happening for a new title in the KH series, and he thinks they will be able to make some kind of announcement in a relatively short time.
There you go! In the interview there's also 'impressions upon seeing the 3DS, the way we brought in free flow action, the title 3D, choosing which worlds to use, about the new black-coated people in Organisation XIII' etc. I also really really recommend 'Ask Mr Tetsu everything! Scenario Mysteries' for Nomura's detailed commentary! KH3D's Ultimania is pretty big, very much worth reading, go and buy it for sure!

- Regarding the Dream Eaters' growing system: "I thought about a system where you defeat enemies and make them your allies. But instead of thinking they were enemies before, I'd rather you to love them as if you raised them from their very birth."

English screens/renders of Kingdom Hearts 3D released on official Facebook

The official Kingdom Hearts Facebook page has uploaded a set of images of the English version of Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance]. These images contain 8 Dream Eater renders (which we saw on G4tv.com earlier), 3 screenshots of Dream Eater minigames (which are new), and 9 screenshots of battle scenes (which we also saw earlier). Kingdom Hearts 3D demo to release on Japanese eShop

According to onlineplayer, a demo for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] will be released on May 2, 2012 on the Japanese Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS. The demo will take place in Traverse Town, and you will have three Dream Eaters-- Wondernyan, Neko Cat and Kuma Panda. Thanks to KHxInfo on Twitter for the find!
Update: Both 4Gamer.net and Famitsu.com have posted articles about the upcoming demo. They reveal that it will be titled Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] DEMO VERSION, that you'll need about 90MB on your SD card, and that by downloading the free demo, you get a total of 15 times in which to use it! Let's hope that other regions see something similar.
Update 2: Square Enix's official Japanese website for Kingdom Hearts 3D has been updated to confirm the demo's release on the Japanese Nintendo eShop.
Update 3: As it is now May 2, 2012 in Japan, the Kingdom Hearts 3D demo is now available to download for free from the Japanese Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Pre-order bonus for Kingdom Hearts 3D in North America (Dream Eater AR cards)

Amazon.com's pre-order page for the North American version of Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] has revealed a pre-order bonus for the game. The page states that "Pre-order Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance and get a set of AR cards that will unlock exclusive Dream Eaters in-game. The AR cards will be packed in the game box." Seems like the Dream Eater AR cards for the Japanese version will be seeing a release overseas! Thanks to rinimt and sqexgal for the tip.
Update: Both Walmart's pre-order page and EB Games Canada's pre-order page have been updated with a confirmation that they too will be offering the AR cards as a pre-order bonus. Kingdom Hearts 3D Play Arts and Formation Arts announced

Kuma's Mad Don Blog have revealed that Play Arts and Formation Arts for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] are in the planning stages of production. This comes as great news for collectors after the "Kingdom Hearts 2 Vol. 2" Formation Arts released earlier. Kingdom Hearts 3D, European website redesigned

Square Enix's official European website for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] has been completely redesigned and updated. The website now has videos and screenshots sections. New screenshots of the game have been added to the screenshots section, and the website provides links to various websites where you can pre-order the game.
Lastly, it also has a quote from Official Nintendo Magazine (UK): "This is easily the most impressive looking game we've seen on the Nintendo 3DS." You can view all the screenshots below, in our gallery.

Kingdom Hearts 3D to be released on July 20, 2012 in Europe

Update 3: If you have a Nintendo 3DS from Europe or Australia, then you can access the eShop right now and download this English footage to your Nintendo 3DS! Unfortunately, this is not available in North America, and the footage is not in 3D.
Nintendo Direct of Europe has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] will be released in Europe on July 20, 2012! The first footage of the English version was also shown at the event, featuring English text and voices! You can view this below.

Kingdom Hearts 3D to receive a patch

At the Nintendo Direct event today, it was revealed that the Nintendo 3DS will soon be able to download and install patches for games. One of the games to be patched will be Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance], which suffers from some unfortunate bugs. The firmware update that allows patching will release on April 25, 2012, where the Kingdom Hearts 3D patch is set to arrive sometime after that.
