BBS wallpaper, KH 3D and BBS-358/2 OST news.

Firstly the Square Enix members portal have updated with a new wallpaper, a Birth by Sleep calender featuring Aqua, Terra and Ven. This can be viewed here. And will be able to be downloaded from our gallery shortly.
Nintendo World 2011 takes place in Japan next week, and Nintendo has today announced what 3DS games they'll have on display. Included in this list is Kingdom Hearts 3D. Unfortunately however, the display of 3D will be video only, and will not feature a playable demo.
Last but certainly not least the Square Enix have released the Official site of the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep & 358/2 Days Original Soundtrack. On the site you will be able too see a preview track list and listen to samples from the OST, including songs such as;

- Dearly Beloved
- Extreme Encounters
- Enter The Darkness
- Innocent Times
- The Promised Beginning
- Terra
- The Secret Whispers
- The Silent Forest

Also the soundtrack has been added to Amazon.com for the cool price of 3800 yen (or about $45 US dollars). The OST is scheduled to be released in Japan on February 2nd, 2011

KH13.com gallery, December 2010 updates.

KH13.com's gallery aims to provide the community with the largest collection of articles and screenshots, as well as other images, related to the Kingdom Hearts series. A message from the Kingdom Hearts community.

In order to celebrate this year's holidays, various different Kingdom Hearts websites have come together and created an audio message for the community. We hope you enjoy this, and want to take this opportunity to thank you for being such loyal fans, both to Kingdom Hearts, and to the community. Look forward to our site's redesign next month, as well as the releases of Re:coded on January 11, and Birth by Sleep Final Mix on January 20. Credit goes to Mike from KH-Recharged for piecing together the message, and of course, happy holidays! The message can be heard at our forum.

Kingdom Hearts 3D details.

According to Nintendo Everything, issue 262 of Nintendo Power has included an article on Kingdom Hearts 3D. An extract of this article can be read below.
Kingdom Hearts III and Kingdom Hearts 3D are not the same. However, it is a brand-new adventure starring Sora and Riku. The story is on par with that of a numbered title, and I’m sure the ending will shock fans.

Laguna in Birth by Sleep.

Tetsuya Nomura has announced that originally, Laguna from Final Fantasy VIII was originally intended to be in Birth by Sleep. According to andrisang.com, Laguna was supposed to be the head of Mirage Arena, but Square Enix instead decided to use him in Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy.

Production Department Premiere confirmed.

As we reported earlier, both Kingdom Hearts 3D and Birth by Sleep Final Mix will be featured in an event known as the Square Enix 1st Production Department Premiere. Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed their inclusion in this event in an interview with Dengeki PlayStation magazine, which can be read below thanks to HEARTSTATION.ORG.
The reason the date was moved from January 11th to the 18th was due to timing of magazine publications. The conference is intended for the fans, not for the mass media. There won’t be demos, the focus will be on the trailers. The 150 attendees will be split into two floors of the Roppongi Hlls building. Developers from each title will be there, from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts 3D too.

Jump Festa 2011 coverage.

Jump Festa 2011 is an event in Japan held by Square Enix. At this event, both Birth by Sleep Final Mix and Re:coded are set to feature. The event has started, and therefore, our coverage of it begins now. Below, in our gallery, a collection of photos from the event can be seen. This will be updated periodically.

Birth by Sleep Final Mix was featured with a new trailer, and a playable demo. Impressions of both of these have been featured on various Japanese blogs, and translations of these blogs can be read at our forum thanks to HEARTSTATION.ORG.
