i dont know you but please dont listen to any of the mean things said in this thread. ive been in your place before and i know that being told to "suck it up and just deal with it" helps no one. please tell someone that you feel this way, your aunt or someone else who can help you. i cant say i know your exact situation but i have severe depression and was suicidal for a long time so i know where you're coming from. talking to people about it has really helped, and, even if you dont think therapy or medication will do anything, i really suggest that you give it a try. you are an important person and you dont deserve to feel this way. if you ever need someone to talk to about this, please dont hesitate to talk to me, if you feel comfortable with that.

i feel you!! im an extrovert, so i need to be around people and talk to people, but my anxiety gets in the way so im really quiet around people i dont know well and it's honestly really draining

the thing about this issue is that theres no morally gray areas when it comes to "either these people deserve basic human rights or they dont". being apathetic towards it is just as bad as actively harming LGBT people; you're condoning their mistreatment and discrimination.

LGBT people are killed and discriminated against all the time and them being hateful towards their oppressors is not unreasonable

there isn't a white history month because there doesn't need to be one. white people as a whole have literally never faced oppression in the history of the US and most US history focuses almost exclusively on Straight White Men™ anyways so why should there be an extra month dedicated to them black history month + other history months are important because they're so often overlooked in history. there's an entire generation of black slaves who have literally been wiped from all records due to being sold in the slave trade so yea it is really necessary to focus on their history
