I'm not so sure about other FF characters, but it seems mostly FF7 characters were either originally going to be in the game and then later replaced by another character, or they have some sort of symbol representing them. I think it's those characters that are going to make it into a future game, as Zack and Rikku already did, then why not Vincent, who was originally supposed to fill Cloud's shoes? I also think Rinoa might appear in a later game...but I'm not yet exactly sure if the letter Leon read at the end of KH2 (in the credits, I believe) can be linked to her...

As we know now, Zack is going to be in BBS.... Zack was originally going to be in KH, but they replaced him with Tidus. Vincent was also supposed to be in KH, but they replaced him with Cloud (unlike Tidus, Cloud wears a red cape, which symbolizes Vincent) Yuffie also replaces Rikku in the first game (she, too, wears an outfit symbolizing Rikku), but Rikku was brought into the second game... So now I'm wondering, is there a chance of Vincent showing up in BBS? Or maybe he'll show up in a later KH game? (sorry if this is the wrong forum. "^^)

When Xion dies, she turns to ice and breaks away into "crystals." Each crystal is a fragment of Sora's memories returning to him, while Xion makes the great sacrifice of giving up her own life to return them to him. All she is is memories in a fake body...

o_o That bright light and all was Kairi restoring Sora his human forms, an ability she has as a Princess of Heart. It's questionable, though, whether or not Kairi returned Sora's heart to him at that time, or if Sora continued through KH and CoM as a heartless in human form, like Ansem. But considering when Kairi lost her heart and her heart went inside Sora, it can easily be assumed that Sora's heart went into Kairi, thus allowing Kairi to sense Sora's heartless. And if Sora was using Kairi's body and soul, as you say, then what exactly would happen to Kairi herself? We know that after Kairi restored Sora, she was still in her rightful body and such..? And according to the game, Sora was only a heartless long enough to create a Nobody, but not a heartless long enough to complete the Nobody, which is why Roxas has no memories of his past.
