    Saix was much more of a pain in the ass than I was expecting him to be. I remember him being a breeze but he handed it too me on a silver platter more than once.

      I'm in for a death trap then, aren't I? Like, Proud mode seems tougher than it used to be and I just played the original one over the summer. I should also te I'm playing through Proud mode without changing the default item setup

    You know honestly I used to be opposed to it but Akuroku actually has some basis to it. At least in the way of Axel maybe having a thing for Roxas because seeing it again, 'He made me feel like I had a heart' is actually a really romantic line...

    It's literally a scene taken right from the cartoon. If your childhood of the cartoon is ruined by something from the cartoon itself, that's quite sad.

    ProTip: The 1000 heartless battle is a great opportunity to get a level or two of Limit Form in. Dodge Roll is a good thing so this is recommended. Damage Drive and Drive Boost are nice abilities to have equipped during.

      Also use Strike Raid. It's the best limit and I'm pretty sure it's mostly invincibility frames.

      It is good to use Sonic Blade during the Cloud part of the FF fights. Sonic Blade is the only good limit in 1k heartless.

      It's not about taking out the heartless in large numbers, but just getting as many limits in as possible. You can get in two strike raids to one MP bar and its hard to be interrupted.

    Okay, so you don't see a good reason for him to have said that because you don't think it's followed up on. But tell me, is there really a good reason not to? It doesn't come up much, but in Yen Sid's mind that's a perfectly valid warning and it was worth saying, even if nothing came of it. It's two lines of dialogue that take up about 0.00001% of the story, why is it such a big deal?

    It's a precautionary measure to make sure Sora does what he needs to do, and doesn't ally himself with the opponent out of pity for their struggle. And it's not much of a plot point all things considered, not really a big thing that needs to be followed up on. Even then, that Sora doesn't go AWOL and side with the Organization shows that Yen Sid's warning accomplished something. Or maybe Sora would have done what he did without the warning. It's schrodingers Sora.

    Because I think at the heart of the situation (heh) Nobodies were meant to be a sympathetic thing. They're people who for a long time we were led to believe did not have hearts, and that everything they did was an effort to get one. We're given the impression all throughout the series how important a heart is, then here are a group of people who are left out of the fun. It's supposed to be something the player pities, and by extension Sora, thus Yen Sid pushing the point forward that Sora needs to focus on what must be done, and not let pity rule over his actions in the coming conflicts. It might be that Sora hasn't shown hesitation before, but that in this case he might be tempted to, and that won't do.

    I think they were in denial in large part, I think. Or perhaps some of them were savvy to that one plot twist from DDD, you know the one, and genuinely meant it when they said that they do in fact have hearts.

    I can't help but notice that aside from Sora's pod, there are 6 pods in the TT mansion. It's also interesting that Ansem the Wise would pick out TT. I think maybe the mansion might have been a testing facility of some kind for Ansem and his apprentices.

      There are 6 of them plus Sora's big one that may have been built specifically for him. Ansem the Wise (DiZ) had six apprentices, and what's more he came back to the same place years later as DiZ.

    If it was done in a style like that to echo the comic books, maybe use that "Kingdom Shader" they were talking about to accomplish something then yeah. But what's the chances they'll do that when the MCU is what's popular, you know? I just can't imagine a world where Sora talks to a weird cgi RDJ,

    And another thing; it would make sense that the heartless they show in a tease would be important in some way. Teasers are meant to rouse curiousity after all, so if these heartless were important to the story in some way it makes sense for them to be the ones shown.
