Finally she got in front of the mirror to ready herself mentally, looking herself in the eye and breathing slowly and evenly. “Here we go again,” she muttered, squeezing the edges of the counter and desperately wishing for a drink right now. But she would never drink in the process of seducing someone—she never had before, and wasn't about to start. Too risky. She would wait until she was alone, and then get wasted. Once she was dressed in her usual attire—black boots, flared jeans, and a black leather jacket with a white spaghetti-strap top underneath, she exited the changing room and met James in the lobby. She took his arm and said, “Come on, let's go.” Then she guided him to her black, two-seated Ferrari.
