- Arthur - Mystras - /w Mariel, Everyth & King Alderon - Helping the refugees - Arthur perked his head up at the sight of the king. He quickly settled the basket to the side, taking a step forward to greet him. Yet, the king was not in any mood for greetings or reports. The weariness in his eyes surging an ache in Arthur's chest. Before he could speak up, maybe offer condolences, however, the king spoke first. He explained of the situation, and the possibility of bringing home back to them. Arthur's jaw dropped, his eyes wide as he took a step forward. They could bring them back? All of them? Their families, their people, their world-it was possible?! "(Athena.)" He thought, moving his hands to his chest. He was quick to make his decision, no second thought or consideration required. He straightened his back, placing a fist across his chest as he faced his king. "Count me in as well, your majesty." He spoke, determination in his eyes as he smiled a bit. "I serve my king and my kingdom, and I have long decided that I would follow you since the moment I was knighted into your service. Right now is no different." He paused, pursing his lips before continuing. "Consider my life to your service as it has always been. If we can save home...then I'll lay my life down as well, my king."

- Helios - Mystras - /w everyone in Raiden's office - Raiden's Meeting - Helios glanced as Aura and Rabiyu excused themselves, smiling a bit before his attention returning to the meeting. Specifically, Soren's explanation. It made his blood run cold. It wasn't a sentient being, nor something with a conscious that could either accept or deny its user. It was a weapon. Nothing more, nothing less. A weapon that could fall into the wrong hands and be used to it's fullest potential without any safe key or plan b were things to go horribly wrong. It was a one way ticket...and he couldn't even phantom the possibility of Yevgeni or Midnea gaining access to this. "It must be a Fey do to its origins, correct?" He asked, his eyes glancing around the room. "Then...I can say it's obvious which two candidates are in line to possess it should they succeed the upcoming trials." Helios spoke, glancing up at the leaders. "Lord Raiden, and his majesty, King Jynn. Both sovereigns of their own right. I may be getting ahead of myself, as we will enter Isopolis blind to the trials that we will be facing but...I believe it's the right choice for one of them to take upon the burden of this weapon...unless they believe otherwise." Helios spoke, his tone low as he kept his head bowed his eyes staring down at the map. To have sneaked into Isopolis all of those years ago was merely scratching the dusty surface of the significance of such ruins...it was now or never. "I support either candidate, or whoever they deem responsible enough to wield it. Though there is always that question of what shall happen the user once they ascend, isn't there?" He asked, a small frown on his lips. No power simply came to one freely. Something had to be exchanged in return. Even after passing sch trials, he couldn't help but to have that one small thought in the back of his head, constantly asking what if. He glanced up at the group again. "Regardless I am ready to provide my assistance the moment you call for it. I am behind you, Lord Raiden, King Jynn...and King Alderon." Helios spoke, this time with his head high, a spark in his eyes that screamed of determination. For the irony was still there, the fact that it would end in the one place where it all began; Isopolis. - Arthur - Mystras - /w Mariel & Everyth - Helping the refugees - Arthur listened, looking back down at the fruits. "Sorrow can't be helped. It's normal to feel it. Without it we wouldn't be able to empathize nor feel other emotions. It's with sorrow that we realize that we love someone so much that we mourn them. It's with love that we realize how happy something makes us...however instead of drowning, fighting against it...let's go with its current and use it to our advantage." He sighed, forcing a smile. "Mistakes happen. We have a saying, to er is human. But I believe that can be applied to Feyhood as well...no one is perfect. But in our imperfections we strive forward." Arthur spoke, bowing his head towards Mariel. "So, I thank you for trying, milady. For caring for the lives of us humans as well." He said, gazing at Mariel with tired, but kind eyes. The pain was still there. It wasn't ever going to leave him...but he would live with in rather than allow it to drag him down.

I volunteer Alderon to face the 'souls' of the subjects he submitted to the experiments for the sake of advancement and having the hard choice of "If you had a chance, would you have done it differently?" and how far is he willing to go again and BAM dead *heavy breathing*...but ya know anything's fine. For Helios, if he goes, I think it's more of a psychological, morality issue of will he be willing to change all he knew for the sake of the better good even if it meant breaking his rule of never killing anyone. Arthur, if he goes, would be his divide between his Fey blood and Human blood, and forced to choose between the power to protect as a Fey or the pride of being human despite being just that; human. Ooooor prove how far he would go for his loyalty yeet yeet yeet

- Helios - Mystras - /w everyone in Raiden's office - Raiden's Meeting - Helios knew that his words would mean nothing, yet he tried still. Would he ever forgive Alderon? No. Did he still hated the man? Partially, but not as much as before. He sympathized the fact of his loss. He quite literally lost everything. No amount of consolation could fix it. But no harm in trying. He looked up, recognizing Soren's voice. Last time he saw him they had tried to kill each other in the battlefield before Soren screamed at him rather...constructive words. Those words still stuck to him. Helios nodded at Soren. "You...I'm glad to see you as well...you really knocked some sense into me back there." Helios hummed, his voice calm as she smiled softly at Soren. He backed away from Alderon, returning to Aura's side as he listened to Soren. The name of Yevgeni rang familiar, but not enough. He knew of the man...a noble, rather powerful politically wise...but nothing more than that. "(He was behind it?)" A crazy move to force himself onto the throne? Maybe. Most likely. After all, Jynn was here still. Helios remained quiet, listening Soren scold Alderon and insist on a solution through unity, which was the most profitable option available...to recover- "The Source of All Life?" Helios whispered, his eyes widening. He had never heard of anything like that. Not in books nor stories nor libraries...and it was hidden within the ruins this whole time? It sounded...powerful. Dangerously powerful. More than anything else that they had encountered before. Helios peeked at the map, watching the reactions ever so carefully. Even Raiden didn't know of it's existence, it seemed. It could do amazing feats, fix everything, even- "Bring the human world back?" He asked under his breath, his heart racing at the thought. He looked at Aura to confirm that he wasn't the only one hearing this, looking back in awe. Once Raiden asked if everyone agreed, Helios carefully stepped up. "I wish to offer my powers and abilities to you for this endeavor...if you wish for them." Helios offered, bowing his head. "My lord." He added. He stood before many power figures, and was careful not to sound too intruding. Maybe he should step back? If asked so, he would. Alderon's question did cause concern, however. "That is a concern indeed." Helios whispered, perking his head up. "Unless this instrument has a power comparable to that of a god..." Helios's eyes narrowed. "(It could end up making things worse.)" He thought, considerably worried. Because there was no power to be gained without a cost. - Arthur - Mystras - /w Mariel & Everyth - Helping the refugees - Arthur looked at Mariel, quickly wiping away his tears. "No worries! We're just talking, no need to apologize." Arthur insisted, trying to keep his cheeks dry, even as Everyth's words only caused even more tears to escape his eyes. He pursed his lips, looking down at the basket. "Maybe by having a chat with him while his elite knights stand around us?" Arthur muttered, a smile on his lips at the thought. He had great respect for his king. He had done everything that a human could do for the sake of his kingdom, no matter the cost...and even now, he would follow him to the end. "Yeah...Sir Alastor keeps smacking me back into composure, so I guess it's not all bad after a bit." He chuckled, holding the basket closer. What would be the next step? What now? Was it still a war, or was it now a standstill? "Where is the king? Is he alright?" He asked, frowning. "I...I know he must be mourning, as we all are, and must be busy with lord Raiden too..." He hummed. He wouldn't want to interrupt such meetings, as the refugees and Fey surely required more assistance than him...but mourning alone didn't sound good, either.

- Helios - Mystras - /w Aura & Bherna - Raiden's Meeting - The three hurried to Raiden's study and the current meeting between the rulers and officials of Mystras. With Bherna they were allowed inside the villa with ease, and to find the study...all they had to do was to follow the yelling. Helios heard the familiar voice of the human king, exclaiming his woes to the Fey. Helios couldn't help but to feel an ache in his heart as he listened, understanding the pain that he felt. Helios frowned, stepping into the room as he pushed himself past the guards. He went directly to Alderon, his hands reaching as he placed his hand on the king's back. "...King Alderon." Helios spoke, glancing around at the other leaders for a moment before sighing, his attention back to the king. "You must remain strong. You are the first defense of humanity, the one human with the knowledge and security to provide for the refugees. Not even their king is as knowledgeable as you are at this moment." He spoke, his eyes narrowing. "These refugees, and I'm sure even their king are looking up to you for answers and reassurance. Not just them, but your soldiers." Helios insisted, taking a deep breath. "It hurts. I know it does...but your people still remain. Your soldiers still wear your flag. Will you allow them to fall with you?" Helios asked, not afraid as he stood tall. He sighed a bit, his eyes turning to Lord Raiden and Jynn, giving a small bow. "My apologies...I didn't mean to intrude...I came to ask if my shapeshifting abilities would be in the need of assistance of any kind but..." He frowned, looking back at Alderon. "...we're all losing, aren't we?" - Arthur - Mystras - /w Mariel & Everyth - Helping the refugees - Arthur blinked, turning away to see where he had pointed. "Where?" He asked, but as he looked, he saw nothing. He turned to look back at where the Fey was...and he was gone. Arthur hummed, tilting his head. That was weird. He shrugged, moving his way back and around, offering food. He saw a young woman (Mariel) staring at him, so he figured she must be hungry. He smiled, walking over. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked, offering the basket of fruit. "Are you hungry, or thirsty? Here, take your fill. If you're feeling sick, I can request for a healer too." He asked, smiling at her. His attention was then taken back by a somewhat familiar voice. He turned, seeing Everyth. "Lady Everyth." He spoke, turning to her though he made sure to keep the basket of fruits close to the young woman for her to take what she liked. He chuckled. "Strange things indeed...but beautiful just the same, aren't they?" He asked. He seemed to internally flinch when she mentioned that this place was home for good, and he could already feel warm tears escaping his eyes as he took a deep breath. "I loved her." He whispered, a soft smile on his lips. "She charmed me, like she used a spell on me." He chuckled. "I first met her in the garden, and I was so taken aback by her that I walked straight into the fountain. When I heard her laugh I knew what love at first sight really was." He spoke, his tone soft though it was obvious he struggled to not break down. She looked up at Everyth, smiling even as tears streamed down his face. "Sir Alastor made a good point. Mourning will do nothing. I'm sure...she wouldn't want me to drown myself in sorrows either." He said, quickly wiping away his tears. "I...I haven't even spoken to King Alderon..." He whispered, frowning as he looked up at Everyth. "Ah, sorry mam...are you hungry too? I really don't know how much resources we can spare, but the Fey have been very kind in providing all of the aid possible." He spoke, smiling as he looked around.

- Helios - Mystras - /w Aura & Bherna - Helios listened, his head perking up at the mention of Jynn as her father. "Wait." He hummed, taking a step forward. "It can't be...princess Bherna?" He asked, blinking as he tilted his head. She looked so...grown up. Despite only being months since he last saw her. He had never met her personally, but how could anyone forget Jynn's daughter, always by his side? "You've grown." Was the first thing he said, chuckling before giving a small bow. He turned to Aura, smiling. "Maybe we could go ahead and ask them. Though I'm sure they're all pretty busy...no one expected this happen." He hummed, looking back at Bherna. His eyes narrowed for a moment. "But...why is your father here, your highness? He should be a Kilkis Seres, should he not? or at least you in his stead if he is here?" Helios asked. Even he knew a bit about royal politics here and there. There was just some things that were expected. Yet as with everything so far, the only thing they should be expecting was the unexpected itself. "This doesn't look good." He finally decided, looking back down at Aura. "I'm sure that this is a thing between leaders...but I can't stay here and remain blissfully ignorant. Not after what's happened so far." He said, looking back at Bherna. "I'll go see if I can meet your father and Raiden, then...or eavesdrop on the conversation. Either way." He said, a smirk on his lips. Helios was still Helios. As he began to walk, he paused, looking back at Aura. "Come with me? I'm sure we both could use some answers." He said, offering his hand. - Arthur - Mystras - Helping the refugees - Whether it was his speech, of the threat of having sir Alastor smack them silly, the soldiers of Sodon stepped up to the plate to help the Fey take care of the refugees the best they could. It was an entire kingdom, and they had to make sure everyone was alright. Every single one. Among so many people no one had seen the king such yet, so they figured that he was speaking with lord Raiden, or King Alderon. The elderly were helped to move, the hungry were offered food, and the confused were offered answers. Human soldiers were already collecting names and districts of what they knew from the kingdom. It wasn't perfect, but it was as good as they could do under the circumstances. Arthur paused, carrying another basket of fruits as he glanced at a...strange looking Fey. He had never seen his kind before. It was like looking a giant bug. He seemed lost? Confused? Hard to tell considering it had a great poker face...and by that we mean he had no face at all. Arthur hummed, pursing his lips as he walked over to the bug Fey. "Hey?" He asked, lifting his basket of fruits. "You seem lost. Are you hungry?" He asked. "If you're looking to volunteer, we could use more people to set up more tents." He asked, smiling a bit. - Arthur - Mystras - Moment of Determination - /w Alastor & Dawson - Arthur yelped at the pull, though he didn't expect anything less from a man such as Alastor. He stared at him, listening with sunken eyes. He felt his words echo, his heart aching as he listened. If there was any hatred for Midnea, it had tenfold after this. The words seemed to knock some sense into him, his eyes slowly gaining that light again, his eyes widening at the mention of Alex. "He went alone?!" He yelled, for the first time reacting as he grasped Alastor's hands. "Why didn't he bring anyone with him?!" He yelled, more warm tears escaping his eyes. He felt his head ache, his throat sore as he listened Alastor. He frowned, closing his eyes as he moved them from Alastor's hands to his eyes. "Home..." He whispered. Maybe home wasn't gone. Not fully. The world was gone, his friends, his family, everyone and everything they've ever knew. But he was still alive, still beating, still standing. "(Visco...Mom...)" He thought, opening his eyes with a frown. He had worked so hard to become a knight. Endured through the initiation, the training, the exhausting preparation. Yet he survived. He remained. Arthur looked up at Alastor, catching his own reflection against the armor. He stared, tears streaming down. His armor was worn, scratched of war...he was a knight first and above all. Was it alright to sob and sorrow? He was human after all- "No." He finally spoke, looking up at Alastor. The light that remained in his eyes gleamed, the spark of naiveness that was once in him slowly dulled out and replaced with something anew. "...I'm sorry, sir Alastor." He spoke, his tone almost different from before. He pushed his hands, freeing himself from Alastor's grip as he fell onto his feet. He backed away, looking up broken. Yet, he seemed to compose himself, quickly properly bowing. "I'll take my leave, sir." He spoke, his childish smile on him once again as he saluted. "I don't know what I'll do. All of my life I have followed orders, and lived to serve to save my home...but I've failed on that. The same goes for the other knights. But...you're right, Sir Alastor." He spoke, frowning as he looked down at his hands, blood seeping through his gloves. For a moment he paused, his head slowly rising up as he growled. "...You're firetrucking right." He hissed, a surge of determination in his eyes as he walked away, not saying another word. "Guys we have to get up." Arthur stepped into the tent of the Sodon knights, blinking as he glanced around. "Arthur now's not the time-!" "No, get up!" Arthur insisted, beginning to flip off the bed sheets of the soldier's beds. "HEY! Gancelot what the fu-!" "We have to get up and help with the refugees." "...why?" Arthur looked around. "What do you mean why?" "They're from Heldevora...they aren't our people." "There is no 'our' people anymore. Home is gone. If you don't get up I'll have sir Alastor smack you around!" "H-Hey don't threaten me like that!" Arthur looked around. "Come on...we have to help. We're the experts here." He said, gesturing to everyone. "We're the first humans to ever step into this world. We are the link between the humans and the Fey. We are the ones they will look up to for answers besides the Fey. We have to teach their knights how to fight against the creatures. What they are to expect. To people about the current situation. Who are the ones who stepped first into this world? Us. Who are the survivors against the very first war against this world? Us. Who are the witness to everything so far?! Us!" He spoke. Silence. He sighed for a moment, pulling out his sword and raising it to his neck. Gasps rose. "A-Arthur?!" "Why are we knights?" He asked, looking around. "We are knights in order to protect the people. We wear this armor and flag with pride. Yet, you won't do anything?" He asked, his sword remaining to his neck. "If we aren't knights, then we might as well save the people the time and kill ourselves right now!" He yelled, tears still streaming down. "Alex is already being sent on a death mission!" He yelled. "All to find out Intel on the enemy! Can you all say the same?!" Silence reign the tent, soldiers wiping away their tears. "Please rise out of spite if of nothing." He lowered the sword. "This witch has taken so much from us...so let's show her what humans can really do." He spoke, sheathing his sword. Whispers spread, and soon enough they began to rise. "We have an entire kingdom of people who rely on us now. We can't let everyone lives to have been gone in vain! We fought for the future of humanity! And even though this isn't how we expected it, this is it!" Arthur yelled, knights rising to their feet as he placed a fist against his chest. "For the memory of our kingdom, of Sodon and its citizens, and our princess! As long as we live, then so does Sodon! As long as our king lives, then we serve the people! We shall earn our right to be buried with our armor! No one will forget of Sodon or its soldiers, were it be Human of Fey!" Arthur yelled, his eyes glowing. "FOR SODON AND ALL!" The clashing of metal armor rose. "FOR SODON AND ALL!" The unison of the voices echoed, roaring loudly within the tent. Arthur sighed, looking around. "We have to move. Tent section D and E will have to search for the rest around the camp and drag them over to help, limbs attached optional." Arthur flipped his coat, the emblem of Sodon still embroidered proudly against the blue fabric. "Let's show them what humanity can do." Within the ranges as they Fey received humanity, it was a struggle for organization. Of course, humanity was wary of this new, strange land, and everyone in it. "It's fruit." A fey spoke, insistent on the children to eat it, who instead hid further behind their parents. Before the Fey could speak, Arthur gently took the basket out of her hand, walking over to the group. "Hey now. These fruits aren't harmful to humans. They actually taste like candy." He spoke, taking one and taking a bite out of it. "Hmm! Just like taffy!" He cooed. The children began to slowly step up. "You're human?" "Yes. A knight from the kingdom of Sodon." Arthur spoke, glancing around as he could see the soldiers of Sodon step up, volunteering to help, the hall slowly fulling up with human veterans. "How did you get here?!" "Well, that's a long story. Which I can tell you later...but first you have to eat." Arthur said, offering the fruit. The child stared warily, before taking the fruit and eating it. Before long the child began to scarf it down without hesitation. Arthur smiled, quickly offering the basket of fruits to the rest. "Go ahead. They're all safe for humans." He insisted, children taking the fruits before adults began to take them also. Soon the previously full basket was empty. Arthur turned to the Fey, smiling. "How can I help?" "Hey." A child spoke, getting Arthur's attention. "If you're from Sodon...why are you helping us?" The child's mother hushed him, telling him not to be rude. Arthur shook his head. "From now on, we don't serve Sodon alone." He said, quickly pressing a fist against his chest with pride. "We serve humanity."- Overworld RP *COMPLETE*
- Helios - Mystras - /w Aura & Bherna - Helios looked up at the young woman, nodding at her condolences. There was something off, however. The scent was familiar. But...he couldn't narrow it down. He frowned, looking down at Aura and then back up at the woman. "The amount of lives that have been lost are irreplaceable...I don't think anyone even thought of such horrible events to be possible." Helios spoke, his tone low as he tried to ignore the woes of the humans. "I've heard that a whole kingdom was saved, but that's all I have on information." Helios hummed, his hands reaching to his necklace. A whole world just...gone. Like nothing. In the snap of a finger. And all he could hope for is that it was fast and painless. He perked his head up, looking up at the young woman. "Is there a way that we can help? We'll be receiving human refugees. If lord Raiden needs help, I'm all ears." Helios spoke, looking up as he took a deep breath, pausing at a thought. "(Oh no...Lord Alderon's daughter...)" He bit his lip. So much happened in such little time. Not to mention that all of these humans would have to be settled and adjust to the fact that they're in a whole other world with all new customs and magic...oh this would be a very very long week. He sighed. "Though, I would have to be careful not to be much of a bother..." He muttered, thinking. "But I think I can convince a few friends on helping out, provide transportation and such...and my shapeshifting abilities can prove useful on other ends." He hummed.- Overworld RP *COMPLETE*
- Arthur - Mystras - Mourning - /w Alastor & Dawson - Arthur gasped at a familiar voice. He turned, his attention turning to none other than Dawson. "You." He whispered, rather surprised. He hadn't seen the warrior since they clashed against one another in the battlefield. Yet, his words did not bring comfort. If anything, it just surged more emotions inside of him, turning away as he glanced down at the floor. "At least you have a home to fight for." He whispered, his voice rough after his screaming. He frowned. "The Kingdom of Helvadoria and the Kingdom of Sodon are ruled by two different monarchs. If Sodon no longer exists, what will happen to us?" He asked out loud, worry in his tone. They were now pariahs of their own kind. What remained, at least. Serving a king with no kingdom. "And princess Visco is...gone." He hissed, gritting his teeth as he turned to face Alastor, anger mixed with pain in his eyes as he swallowed the lump on his throat. Fresh tears began to fall down his cheeks. "And it's her fault, isn't it?" He asked, his tone almost grave. He took a deep breath, looking away as he turned. "We should've killed her when we had the chance. You knew...everyone KNEW!" Arthur screamed, his attention back at Alastor. "Now our world is GONE! You all knew from the start how dangerous she was and instead you sat back, waiting for the right moment?! How many right moments passed in front of your eyes and you simply thought, 'next time for sure'?! There is no next time for us anymore!" He screamed, his sadness turned to rage, pain and agony in his voice as he screamed, his heart beating ever so fast. In a moment he seemed to loose himself, all etiquette thrown out the window as he stepped forward to Alastor before landing a single punch against his chest. Yet, it wasn't meant to kill or harm, as there wasn't even an attempt of electricity on it. Frustration. That's what it was. Arthur punched Alastor's armor again. "There is no home to fight for anymore! There's no mom to visit or sister to play with! There's no kingdom to serve! THERE'S NOTHING!" He screamed, punching at Alastor, using him as a way to fuel his anger even if it only ended up with him bruising his own knuckles until they turned purple hues. "She took Visco, our home, SHE'S TAKEN EVERYTHING!!!" Arthur screamed, slamming both fists against Alastor's armor one more time as he breathed heavily. He then found himself sliding down, falling onto his knees in front of the knight, before pressing his head against the floor beneath. His body shook as more tears came from his eyes, sobs and cries escaping his throat. The proud knight knelt in defeat and sorrow, his own heart barely able to keep up. He looked down at the flowers, only to curl around them once more. He was taught to keep his calm around his superiors, to keep a professional tone...but he couldn't do it. Not this time. "We lost." He whispered, sobbing between words. "We fought, we lost men and women and Fey alike, we came to war to save our world...and it was all for nothing." He spoke, his tone sounding broken. "The only home I've ever known is gone, along with countless of lives, including my mother and sister and...and..." He gritted his teeth. "Visco...!!!" He looked up slowly, staring at Alastor, as if he hoped to find an answer in him. "I am glad of the people that were saved. To save so much from a disaster like that, it's nothing short of a miracle. An entire kingdom and it's people! But..." Arthur felt his throat ache. "I didn't even get to say goodbye..." He whispered, forcing himself to stand. He got the flowers away with a shaky hand, only to stare down at his hands. "We have lost our world, Alastor, and everything and everyone I swore to protect and fight for is gone. Humanity is now an alien species in the only place left, and we still don't know what will happen next. I just..." Arthur gritted his teeth. "I shouldn't be angry...I shouldn't be angry at innocent lives that have been saved, but why them?!" He screamed, his face pressed against his gloves. "It was Sodon who have its life in this war! Who fought for its place in this world! It was our king who came here to try and defend...is that why...they couldn't save home..." He said, looking up. He looked exhausted, more mentally than physically. "I'm being selfish...when I shouldn't be..." He spoke, walking towards Alastor. The look in his eyes simply broken, from inside and out. - Arthur & Helios - Mystras - The Terrible News - When the news hit, there were no words for the reaction given. The army of men and women of the human world collapsed with all kinds of reactions. Grief, anger, despair. Many screamed in utter agony, their hearts shattered beyond repair as others screamed in anger. Tears were shed. They were lost. Their world, their families, their loved ones, everyone and everything who they had been fighting for, was gone. Just like that, the war was easily over. Yet along with sadness, depravity kicked in, anger rising. Someone, something had to be responsible, and they wanted answers. Was it because the barrier had been absorbing from the world for too long? Was it something that Kilkis Seres had done? Maybe it was no one's fault. But something had to be done. Arthur didn't even know how to react. The silent shock settled in for a while before he suddenly screamed as loud as his lungs would allow him, lightning following his outburst violently. He screamed and screamed for hours until his throat went raw, tears rolling down his cheeks, holding his chest as if he had been shot, the wild lightning circling around him like a protective instinct. This went on for hours, the knight isolating himself back into the forest nearby for the safety of those around him until he passed out. Even when he awoke again the tears only resumed, and so did the lightning, the once proud knight curling up against the floor as he held his head. Mother, sister, Visco- all gone, in a matter of seconds. His dream of returning home would remain at that; a mere dream. He would never return home. He would never get to eat his mother's cinnamon bread, or receive her kisses. He would never get to play with his sister or hear her laughter. He would never get to tell Visco how much he loved her, nor present her with the flowers he had gotten for her. He had never felt a pain this great, not emotional, not physical. Everything he cared for was gone, and as far as he was concerned, so was he. He held onto Visco's letter, his hands shaking as he was afraid to hold. The war for their world had ended, and they had lost. Helios took it just as bad. He tried to remain strong, yet his facade was easily broken down. His scream of horror pierced among the rest. It was gone. All of it. The world, its people, its animals, its culture. Gone. Like the wind. He only allowed himself to mourn for a moment, before forcing himself to swallow his sorrow as his mind went directly to Aura and Henry, reaching Aura first. He didn't even ask, his arms wrapping around Aura into a hug, offering any form of comfort he could. Everything had been turned on its head, and now the future was unknown, the single question hanging over everyone's head; what now?
