  1. Depends on the visual novels, in all honesty. Some are so in depth and have so many alternate storylines and outcomes that the amount of hours of full gameplay could be worth $60, but it'd have to be a lot. If it all leads the same story, then 60$ does seem too much, especially if the only game play aspect is choosing options.
  2. I volunteer an unintentional villain Name: Maverik Age: 15 Gender: Male Appearance: Parent(s): Maleficent & [uNDISCLOSED PARTNER] Abilities/Powers: Trained by Maleficent, he is capable of performing a wide variety of magic. Some of these include: Minimum distance teleportation, use and creation of dark magic, and control of darkness. Like his mother, in his most desperate of times, he is able to transform into a large dragon, but is unable to actually control himself when he does, making him extremely dangerous. He uses a magic staff which he carries with him everywhere. He is surprisingly brilliant when it comes to potion making. Whether good or bad ones. Personality: Confident, playful and mischievous, he is always on the move and is rarely quiet, if ever. He wants to be everyone's friends and will do pranks and mischief using his magic, enjoying the attention he gets from people. At times, he can come to be obnoxious, and will retaliate at people who are mean to him or his friends. He sometimes doesn't get the gravity of the effect that his magic can cause, and when he does, he sometimes just wishes to ignore it. Bio: Maverik, born to be a prodigy, has always been the definition of a rebel, forged out of living with his mother, Maleficent. Since his birth, Maleficent had many plans for him. She chose his studies, his hobbies, and was insistent on the vigorous magic training he was forced to go through. As he grew, Maverik began to lash out at his mother, causing trouble just to spite her. Do the dishes? How about use them for shooting practice. Clean your room? Draw on the wall. Despite by all means able to master and survive the training his mother had for him, he always made sure that he used it in a way that it would annoy her. When he heard of the program, he was quick to sign up. Anything to get away from his mother, this wretched boring place, and start a new adventure! Anything's possible in the mainland, after all. At least, that's what he's heard. Whether the mainland is ready for him, however, is a whole different matter.
  3. *holding a burrito in my arms* Look mom it's your grandchild -Mom: If you don't eat your burrito I will smack it away
  4. - Vita & Maverik - "All this time and you're still annoying." A voice spoke. Walking towards the dock, was Vanitas, now a grown man of his own right as he held a suitcase. By his side, his one and only daughter, Vita, carrying a backpack as her staff was holstered on her hip as she looked up at the boat. The sand of the Badlands contrasted the sands of the mainlands, though being just as soft, being a much darker, almost black color, making the clear water seem just as dark. Any sea shells that managed to arrive were rare and colorful, and didn't last long as locals were quick to pick something so pretty found in a place considered so barren. "That boat doesn't seem too safe." Vita whispered, holding her father's hand. Vanitas looked down at her. "Looks can be deceiving." He said, turning back to Blaise and Donald as he stepped up. "I came to volunteer in handling the children." Vanitas offered, his sharp eyes glancing down at Donald and then at Blaise. With the years came maturity, and for the moment, even when his gaze could kill, he seemed calm and nonthreatening for the moment. He turned to his daughter, gently gesturing Vita forward. "This is my daughter, Vita." Vanitas said. Vita waved at Donald and Blaise. "Nice to meet you." She said, smiling as she gave a small bow to the two. Vita smiled at Blaise, happy to see someone around her age from the mainland, before walking off and deciding to take one of the empty seats. Vanitas watched Vita for a few moments, before turning to the two, specifically, Donald. "Is it alright with you for me to volunteer? Unless, of course, you are sure of your abilities in handling a bunch of teenagers. Seems like you have experience with that so far." He asked, a tad bit a sass in his question, but other than that, no threat. Suddenly, from behind, another voice. A rather loud one. "I'M HERE!" In came running Maverik, smiling as he carried a backpack on his shoulders while dragging a suitcase behind him. Vanitas pursed his lips, looking rather annoyed at the loud child, but didn't say anything, instead just glared at him. Maverik didn't seem to notice, or even care about Vanitas and his gaze, as he ran up right onto the boat, waving. "Hello! I'm Maverik. This is the boat for the program, right?" He asked, reaching out his hand to shake hands with Donald, and then with Blaise. "I should be on the list. Is there even a list? Well, whatever." Maverik said with a slight shrug. "You are Maleficent's child, are you not?" Vanitas asked. Maverik nodded. "Yup, that's me. Though she didn't want to come. That's fine, though! She's boring anyways!" Maverik said as he pushed his suitcase in the baggage area before beginning to explore around, deciding to take a seat right in the front of the ship, where he could see the ocean. "Charming." Vanitas said, turning to Donald. "As I was asking."
  5. - Helios - Side: Mystras Rebellion - w/ Henry - Helios hurried over to Henry's side, frowning slightly. "I heard. The rumors are going rampant all over the camp. Not just here, but around the forest too. Her death...I have never seen the Fauna react this way. They truly are terrified of what might come next." Helios explained. He chuckled to himself bitterly. "To be honest. So am I." Helios added. It was to be expected of war. It was war! The essentials of it was for two sides to fight for the object of conquering or settling a dispute. In what didn't end in a peace treaty, or a truce of some kind, usually ended with one side defeated, even dead for the rest to win. Shiva had simply lost...right? He knew Shiva was a stubborn woman, and just as a great ruler. But had that stubbornness gotten her killed, or was it something else? The unknown truth bit at his heart and stomach uncomfortably. Everyone was on edge, questioning themselves and their own loyalties, as well as the stories they were told. Some were even mourning. Could they trust Raiden any longer? Could Raiden had truly done something so dishonorable in what should have been a meeting for peace? Or was it something else entirely? Only Raiden, and Shiva knew. "Lord Raiden wouldn't go as far as to do that, would he? I know that desperation makes people do terrible things." Helios said, feelings his wrists. "But he just doesn't seem the type..." - Arthur - Side: Mystras Rebellion - w/ Draksis - Arthur listened to his mentor, nodding softly as he looked up at him. From a young boy he wanted to be a knight, to serve his kingdom and proudly be part of the elite soldiers that everyone looked up to. Even not long ago he still remained starry eyed to one day be Draksis and the older knights, to explore a new world. But nothing was as eyeopening, or as reality crushing as the feeling of death on his hands. Now he knew. Now he experienced it, having the lasting scars on his face to remember. Now it was up to him to do something about it. "Our world is dying." Arthur began. "Because of this barrier that the Queen refused to take down. Part of me wants to thank Raiden, if he killed her. Because he took down a big obstacle to healing our world again. But I also feel guilt, because the Queen was a good ruler to her people, and was just doing what she thought was best for them." Arthur explained, trying to convince himself with his own words. "But I guess...we move on, don't we? Because time waits for no one. We can mourn and we can regret. But there's no good in stopping, is there?" Arthur asked, giving Draksis a soft, innocent smile. "We're soldiers because we march on for the best, no matter what is thrown at us. At least, that's what my dad used to say." Arthur quickly straightened up. "Apologies, sir. Soldiers are supposed to remain strong for their people. But even shields can get cracks, huh?" Arthur turned, looking back as he returned to his stance. "I hope, that we get to speak to Lord Raiden, at least." Arthur said, feeling his messenger bag on his side. - Arthur & Alex FLASHBACK - Sneak Mission -
  6. I can't wait for season 3 of BNHA! But I'm also waiting on other series not on the list, like the season 3 for Ajin: Demi-Human (We haven't gotten a date yet but here's to hope)
  7. A sketch of Helios' current appearance (headshot only because I'm that lazy apparently)
  8. - Helios - Side: Mystras Rebellion - At the rise of morning, Helios was quick to notice something was terribly wrong. The birds refused to sing, even when called upon. The animals, both predator and prey, hid from sight, not making a single sound. Even the carrion had denounced their need of the decaying bodies, instead hiding in fear despite their hunger. The world had gone...silent, sending chills down Helios' spine. "(What is wrong?)" Helios thought, paling as he found himself short of breath. Helios ran, running into the field and into the nearby wilds in search of any life. The silence was piercing, not single animal making a peep. They instead hid in their nests, looking at Helios with curious eyes, but never once moving. Even the birds in their nests refused to move, not even answering back. He had never witnessed something so terrifying. "What is wrong? Why won't any of you answer?" Helios asked, beginning to shake. "The world has changed." Helios gasped, feeling the large figure slowly walk up behind him. Helios turned, seeing the familiar shape of the Amarok once more. "Something has changed, wild one. No longer is it balanced. Time and time again, your conflicts have remained your own. But now...now it shall not only affect your kind. But every single living being of this world. This war...will either be the beginning of a new era...or the end of it all." Amarok hissed, taking a step towards Helios. Helios stared, gulping. "But..." "Return." Amarok said, walking past him and into the shadows. "And fight for what you think it is right. We shall strive to survive. This war is no longer of territory and conquer. It is for survival." With that, she disappeared. Helios felt his stomach turn, shaking as he ran back to the camp, leaving it as silent as it was when he first entered. It didn't take long to find an answer, as the news reached him along with the rest of the camp, spreading among whispers. Lord Raiden had killed Shiva. He, or a mysterious assassin. Some even suggested Soren had done the deed. Regardless, it didn't change the main factor. The Queen of the Overworld was dead. Helios didn't know how to feel. He felt, for one part, that it was to be expected. To achieve one dream, one had to die. Yet...it chilled him to think that Raiden would kill her as he did. He loved his Queen. Even in her faults, he was determined to show her better, to how her the beauty that humanity had to offer. Yet now she was dead...and no one had any idea which way this would end up swinging. Helios hurried to meet up with the group, to see what the next part of the war would reveal. Ren trusted Raiden. Helios, wishing to see humanity free from the drain of the barrier, wanted to trust Raiden. But want and need were two different things. For now, it was a need. "(Oh prince Jynn. Please be strong. Do not let your grief take over you like it did your mother. For the sake of your kingdom...be brave.)" Helios thought. No one deserved that pain. Enemy or not. He searched for his friends. Even with the rumors, it was a new day, and that meant a new plan against the kingdom of Kilkis Seres. "Aura? Henry?" Helios called as he entered the meeting area, scanning the area for them. - Arthur - Side: Mystras Rebellion - The news reached Arthur early in the morning. The rumors spread like wildfire; Queen Shiva was dead, and Raiden had killed her. Or at least, that is what the rumors said. Arthur didn't know what to think. In war, it was common for one ruler to die so that the other may prevail. History had many examples of such, it was almost inevitable. Yet, he couldn't help but to feel a prick at the bottom of his stomach, twisting it slightly as it pulled on his morality. "(Raiden.)" Arthur thought, playing with the flower wrapped around the hilt of his sword. He was willing to help them. To help humanity survive. So the death of Queen Shiva was justified as long as it met an ends meet...right? He hadn't seen Raiden, but he hoped to see him soon. He had to show up to speak up about the next strategy anyways, didn't he? Maybe then, Arthur could judge. He stood by his King's side, hoping to be with him when they got a new plan ready for the upcoming fight, if there was one. He looked up at Draksis, thinking of what to say, or even what to ask, but nothing came to mind, instead decided to look back down in thought. He had looked up to Raiden with starry eyes and a naive heart. Even in war, he just hoped he could see that again. Even just once. "Sir Draksis, may I ask a question?" Arthur asked, looking up at him. "When does the guilt of someone's death go away?"
  9. Me reading the latest post like: I knew it was coming but I wasn't emotionally ready Oh this is gonna be good!
  10. Michael read up on the files on their way over. No fingerprints on any of the weapons or its surroundings that could be ruled out of place. No witnesses. No clues. Not even pieces of the individual. It was like if they were never there to begin with. Michael began to conclude in different factors; whoever responsible knew the prison enough to know hidden pathways away from the security cameras, and even from the cells. "(Are we dealing with an inmate...or a guard?)" Michael thought as they reached the cell. He ignored the cat calls from the ladies, focusing on the task ahead, questioning the Clairvoyant by the name of Alissa. When they reached the cell, Alan was quick to begin the interrogation, Michael watching Alissa as she confirmed their suspicions. Alissa sobbed into her hands, wiping away her tears as they came down. "I will try..." Alissa said between sobs, looking up at Allan. "I am able to see things, as a Clairvoyant. Some are voluntary, some are not. When I received a dream about the deaths, I didn't think much of it...but then I saw his future and..." She hiccuped. "I tried to warn him...!!!" Michael took a step forward. "You're telling me you dreamed of the other's deaths too?" Michael asked. "Yes." "Why didn't you say anything?" "What good would it do? If I said anything, not only would I be seen as a suspect, I might probably be targeted as well!" She insisted. Michael pursed his lips, crossing his arms. "Fair enough..." Michael hummed, looking down at Alissa. "Yet, you still dreamed. If there is anything that you can tell us that might help us catch their killer, it would be appreciated." Michael said. Alissa, looked down at her hands, then back up at the two. "Well...when I saw the death of the cook, I saw it from a...strange point of view. I believe that he might've left something behind. Maybe it will help you...?" Alissa asked, gently getting her hands on Allan. "Please find out who did this. For Hans." Alissa asked. Michael nodded, looking back at the officers. "Could you show us where the murder of Harry Synnott took place?" Michael asked. "Yes. We will take you to the kitchen area." The officers said, looking at each other. Michael looked over to Allan. "I'm not liking this one bit."
  11. Saros snapped his head at Alin, growling under his breath at her laughter. Usually, by this point, his temper would get the better of him. But instead, King Mickey's voice rung across his head, reciting the lessons and the importance of keeping his temper. His power required control, or else it would eat him alive and leave nothing but a hollow body behind. At least Stephen, Shadow, and the girl, Moana, agreed with his decision to save the rooster. He took a deep breath, before sighing, gently petting HeiHei as he gently settled him down. "Yeah. I noticed." Saros said as he looked up at Moana. "These creatures are called Heartless. We are a group that are currently trying to help the worlds who are on the threat of falling into darkness because of them, all while searching for the culprit. We're here to deal with the problem." Saros explained, glancing to the sea before back at Moana. "Before landing we noticed that there was a...darkened area covered in dark clouds and smoke. Did that arrived along with the Heartless?" He asked, hoping to obtain basic information before the group could form a game plan.
  12. Michael looked down at the victim, kneeling down. "He's still warm." Michael said, looking around the room for anymore clues. One of the officers guarding by the door was quick to answer, quickly fumbling around some documents that were left with them by Richard. "Yes sir. Here you go." The guard said, handing over manila folder containing multiple brief reports of the numerous deaths. The reports went as followed; Michael checked the victim. Chocked to death, but silent enough to not cause a ruckus until someone finally took notice? That was odd. Michael proceeded to look around his cell. It was the same standard cell as everyone else, plus the personal items. He hummed, thinking of something before turning to the mattress. He proceeded to lift the mattress up, smirking when he found what he was looking for. "Here we go." Michael said, picking up the tattered looking journal hidden beneath the mattress. As he settled the mattress down he began to flip through some of the most recent entries. Some spoke of the concern of the accidents. Others spoke of this lovely young woman, another prisoner in the system. There were ripped out pages, instead replaced with folded up pink papers, all written in a completely different hand-writing. Love letters from the woman, it seems. Her name was Alissa. The very last entry spoke of Alissa's urgency to talk to him when they met briefly in the dinning hall. "I think we might have a place to start." Michael said, pulling out what seemed to be a photo of the young woman, obviously given to him by her herself. He walked over to the officers. "Do you know who this might be, someone names Alissa?" Michael asked. The officer quickly took out an electronic pad, typing something in it as he searched. "There is an Alissa Rennolls incarcerated within this facility in the female section of the C sector." The officer confirmed. "I believe we should interview her as soon as possible, once my partner finishes his assessment."
  13. - Helios - Side: Mystras Rebellion - Healer Tents - With Aura, King Alderon, Henry & Draksis - Helios listened to Henry, smiling to hear he agreed with his ideas. He brightened up at the suggestion of traveling together once it was all over, his pupils shifting at the thought of it. "That sounds wonderful to me! Flying is faster, but on foot...in the longer roads, there is much to learn and admire. I...I would like that very much." Helios admitted, shifting his feet momentarily. The thought of adventure always appealed to him. To just be free and explore. To learn and teach. To enjoy life that way. To be deprived of that hurt him more than he could have imagined it, leaving scars that would never leave. It was the original plan for himself long ago. Maybe after it all ends, it could continue. "Then, as we travel, I can take the chance to teach you how to fly along the way. That way, we can fly together." Helios said cheerfully, though he couldn't tell himself if he was joking or genuinely interested in teaching Henry how to fly. He figured, that they would sort that out too when the time came to it. He smiled softly once more, resting his head against the chair as he faced Henry. He was tired, the adrenaline of war slowly wearing off along with the pain of just...well, everything. "I am glad you guys came for me that day. I honestly thought that I had lost everything to humanity, and that I would not be able to return. But...you taught me what it was that made me fall in love humanity all over again. For that, I can never thank you guys enough. But I will try." Helios said, extending his arm at Henry while offering his pinky finger. "Let's make a promise to be friends, Henry. For eternity and beyond. So when our journey here ends, we may meet in the next one." - Arthur - Side: Mystras Rebellion - Healer Tents - Visiting Alex - Arthur chuckled with Alex, listening to his woes. "The Black Knights are pretty popular, aren't they?" He hummed. "At least they offered us enchanted weapons. Those helped more than I thought they would." Arthur said, patting the sword on his hip. However, his expression softened as Alex wondered about Visco's sickness. "Yes, I have, but never out loud. I've even heard that this entire expedition was for the chance of finding a cure for her. I believed in that too." Arthur admitted, pursing his lips. He only knew of the superficial effects that the curse left on the princess. The King was rather strict about keeping such rumors under wraps, and the guards even more so to keep the princess from hearing them herself. Whether any of the rumors he had heard were truth or fiction, one thing was clear; it was going to kill her unless a cure was found. At the mention of the library, Arthur's eyes perked up in interest, his eyes widening. "He...he does." Arthur said. His eyes quickly glanced around them, before looking back at Alex. They were in a pause. Everyone was scattered on and about and worried about the next steps of the while while their leaders healed up and convened. They had an opportunity. To find a cure, to save Visco's life, to finally cure her-! "No one would even notice..." Arthur confirmed, about to turn on his heel before stopping. He quickly returned his attention to Alex, hurrying to his side. "Can you even stand, Alex?" Arthur asked, looking at his injuries. "...or will you cover for me?"
  14. when there's no reviews for a movie one must venture
  15. Clouds were covering the sky, the small rumble of thunder beginning to echo across the sky. Michael hummed as he set his cane against the given table. "It's a prison. The whole point of this place is security." Michael said, looking over at Allan. "We should be fine. This is the residential area of the prison. We're surrounded by staff as it is. No need to worry." Michael said as he got a hand on Allan's shoulder. "You're my partner, and I won't let any harm come to you." He assured, turning to the bed. "We only have one, but we can definitely share." Michael said as he kicked off his shoes, looking over at Allan. "I'll take left and you right?" The two managed to sleep for a few hours, the storm raging outside. However, suddenly, right in the middle of the night, a loud alarm rang across the prison, jolting both detectives awake. Michael jumped, his senses sharpened as he grabbed his cane from the side of the bed as his other arm quickly went to cover Allan. The alarm, just as it was loud however, was rather brief, gone in a few moment's time as soon as it had come on. Suddenly their room door opened, and without hesitation, Michael swung his cane, the pieces of the cane itself expanding into a bladed whip that landed right next to the actual doorway. Richard, the prison director, didn't even flinch at how close that came to his face, simply taking a glance at it before turning to the detectives. "My apologies to wake you up at such hour. I fear I don't even have breakfast for you." Richard said as he waved his hand. Richard looked, by all means and purposes, like a normal human. But his authority remained undisputed. "Now, hurry if you would. It appears we have a fresh crime scene for the two of you." Richard said, stepping out of the room. Michael looked over at Allan, before the two quickly equipping themselves up before heading back out, where Richard and his men awaited them to escort them. "Right then. Follow me." Richard said, turning on his heels as he began to walk away, Michael and Allan following behind as the other guards watched their backs. "Is this another 'accident'?" Michael asked. "Yes it appears so. As your report most likely warned you, there have been many 'accidents' for the past few months. It is beginning to become an annoyance, and a worry. So far, it has only been prisoners. But I worry that my staff might be next if this is not stopped." Richard explained. "What are our rules?" Michael asked. "You may explore the prison at your desire if you think it will help with the investigation. The cell rooms, the library, the gym, the recreation room, the infirmary, even the farms if it pleases you. However, you may not enter the A and S levels. You may question prisoners if you think it will help you with your investigation, just notify my guards before attempting to enter their cell." Richard explained as they entered one of the many cell areas. As they walked down the hall, they could see the many prisoners in the cells wearing their bright orange uniforms. Some whispered among themselves, looking over at the detectives curiously, specifically at Allan. "Do you smell that?" "It's a human!" "A human!" "No way! I didn't know they hired humans in the M&M." "What a cute looking human." One prisoner whistled, winking at Allan, only for Michael to snap his head at him so fast that the prisoner got whiplash, quickly throwing itself against his cell wall. "Here we are." Richard said, opening the cell. There lay the prisoner, laying against the wall. He was young, having elf like ears and sharpened teeth. His eyes were still open, wide and dull, as if he had died from being scared to death. Its hands were still clutching the floor beneath, leaving scratch marks against it. Fresh bruises were around his hands and neck, however, slowly showing up as time passed. "The prisoner's name is Hans Lietch. Here for arson. Has been here for about two years. Anything else you may ask my men. If you need me, I'll be in my office." With that, Richard turned, waving at the two. "Good luck." ~*SOLUM PRISON ARC: BEGIN*~
  16. Don't worry about it. Personal life comes first and foremost. Did you enjoy your vacation?
  17. Kirius watched as Allan ran off, gently resting against the bar with a worried expression on his face. "He seems too happy to be going to Solum Prison." Kirius hummed. "He just got his badge. He's excited and happy that he's survived far enough to be considered an actual member. Everyone's like that at this stage." Draven said as he drank his milk. "Yes but..." Kirius said, pursing his lips. Draven waved at him. "He'll be fine. For a human, he's as stubborn as a mule. He has skill. Besides, if he hasn't learned something, he's sure to learn it at the prison." Draven said as he waved his glass. "One more please." Michael smiled at Allan, but was surprised to see him bring him two blood bags for him. "For me? Thank you!" Michael said, taking the bag gratefully. These would do good on the way over. Usually a Vampire would require a body full of blood to last at least a month before beginning to feel hungry. But in small doses, it was more like how humans needed at least one meal a day to function. He got into the car, watching as Allan strapped in for the ride. "Solum Prison is intentionally isolated from major cities, so it will take a few hours." Michael said as he offered Allan the mission file. He revved up the car, driving out of the parking lot as they began to make their way northwest, taking the highway out of the city. Michael searched for something, taking out a CD with the word 'FAVORITES' written down with black marker. "How about some music? These ones are a bit older from your time, but they're still pretty good." Michael said, inserting the CD as it began to play its first song, La Mer (Beyond the Sea). It was a long drive over, and no doubt they would reach the place by nightfall. They drove outside the city limits and into the roads that crossed the forests in between. At some point, Michael took an exit to the west, leading them up local roads as they drove through one or two towns on their way over as they went up a heavily forested mountain. They drove up a single, seemingly abandoned road, that led up to a dead end, a large fall in between the two sides of the seemingly broken road, most covering the mountain. Michael looked over to Allan, never slowing down as they drove right towards the end of the road. "Don't scream." Michael warned, turning back to the road. Just as they reached the end, instead of falling to their deaths, the car continued onward, an invisible bridge allowing them to cross through the mist covered area. He smiled as they finally reached the other end of the road, going up the mountain again as the road behind them disappeared in the mist. Finally they drove into the clearing of the mountain, and up ahead stood the large Solum Prison. The compound was absolutely huge, with multiple buildings on either side with a massive one in the middle with many towers, all standing on a cliff overlooking the sea. There were windmills and farmlands surrounding the compound, a large water distillery right beneath the building itself at the base of the cliff. "Here we are." Michael said, driving on the main road towards the main building. From time to time, there were these very large Gargoyle statues by the main road, watching over it. If Allan payed close attention, he could see them slowly turn their heads towards them, watching them drive on.
  18. Saros snapped his head to Alin, his red eyes glowing for the slightest of moments. "I am saving my shadows for a possibility of a bigger threat! Whether you realize it or not, those Shadows are a part of me! They take magika, stamina, AND energy! I am NOT wasting them on enemies these weak! So do me a favor, and mind your own DAMN BUSINESS!" Saros yelled, his adrenaline pumping as he was ever so slowly losing his cool. He was usually the quiet kid, the one to follow orders to the letter and get it done. He was meant to be that way. But then again, he didn't fit his world's calculations either. So maybe he didn't fit elsewhere either. Saros proceeded to gesture at Stephen as he petted the chicken. "Exactly my point! Thank you, Stephen!" Saros said. At least someone was on his side, even if it was a wanted criminal with a bounty on his head for whatever the reason may be. That was better than nothing. However, he did pause for a moment, looking down at the chicken as he analyzed Alin's words about the movements not being good for the chicken's health. He held it close, checking its heartbeat even though he honestly had no idea what exactly he was looking for in it. The rooster seemed...fine? It just stared at him with the same, absent looking eyes and gaze as it did before. Not much change there. Not like it could talk and complain to him either. For a moment he glanced around, and didn't see any further movement around his area. "I think we eliminated all if not most." Saros said, his eyes quickly turning to the girl that had originally showed up on the boat, hurrying over to her. "Are you alright?" He asked, then offering the rooster. "And is this your rooster?"
  19. - Helios - Side: Mystras Rebellion - Healer Tents - With Aura, King Alderon, Henry & Draksis - Helios pursed his lips, humming at Henry. "You're correct. I'm...heavily conflicted. By definition, and by analyzing my choices, I don't belong in neither world do I?" Helios asked, his eyes narrowing in thought. He took a deep breath and looked up at Henry. "I want...I wish to help rebuild. To help fix the infertile lands of the world below to become fertile again. To help the world above open its eyes to humanity below. To tell the story of my friends, so that both worlds may know their names and contributions, regardless of the outcome. Our choices might as well have helped to create this war. I will make it worth in the very end, regardless how many lifetimes it takes me." Helios smiled softly, looking up at Henry. "I want to help the worlds I have come to love as my own. Share stories between the two. Spread knowledge to help both. Hell, I may even get to write that book I always wanted to write. My wishes, my ideas are idealistic I guess. They might as well be fantasy in such a reality. But...I am alive, so there's no harm in me trying, right?" Helios asked, chuckling to himself as he scratched his cheek. The world would keep turning, and time would wait for no one. Regardless of which side wins, of what the outcome becomes, he would make sure that history never forgot. Not again. - Arthur - Side: Mystras Rebellion - Healer Tents - Visiting Alex - Arthur listened to Alex, his face flushing as he saw the smirk on Alex's face once he mentioned Visco. "W-Wipe that smirk off your face!" Arthur insisted. Arthur would be Arthur. He puffed his cheeks, looking away momentarily before looking back at Alex as he admitted that he indeed had people waiting for him below, just not romantically. "Well, they're waiting for you still. You have to make sure you return to them alive so you can brag of all of your achievements and all you have done so far in a whole new world." Arthur insisted, smirking as he looked over at Alex. "Besides, if you do survive, once you return I'm sure you'll have lots of ladies chasing after you. A veteran of a war against a whole new world and species? They'll flock to you like moths to a very handsome flame!" Arthur assured, saying it in a rather dramatic matter in hopes of getting some good emotions out of Alex, despite his injured state. He then relaxed, gently getting a hand on Alex's shoulder. "But for now, let's focus on getting out of here alive, yes?" Arthur offered, smiling softly. He pondered on whether he should tell him that he met his father, but he went against it. Maybe after the war, when there wasn't that much tension and one could casually say 'oh by the way my father turns out to be a lightning doggo'.
  20. Saros' eye twitched as everyone began to question him about the chicken. He snapped his head, his face flushed. "It wouldn't run away! I tried to have it run the other way and it keeps running straight into danger! I can't just leave it to DIE!" Saros yelled as he waved his keyblade around. This Rooster was a living being, he wasn't going to let it die. But then again, he also wasn't going to admit that this was the first Rooster he had ever seen and met in real life that wasn't on a plate, and so he wasn't ready to see it die in front of him. Even while holding a chicken in one hand, he was sure of himself to not be defenseless. He threw his keyblade, the blade dashing across the sand to reveal the location of a few crab shaped Heartless. Saros then jumped as he began to jump onto the Heartless, right on their heads, stepping on them one by one as he dashed across the sand, leaving the Heartless confused and with a headache as they held their heads. Once Saros reached the end, he caught his keyblade as it flew right by him, only to spin and throw the keyblade once more, this time back down into the sand as it slashed the Heartless in half before they could hide again. He dashed across the dying Heartless, jumping as he caught his keyblade again before slamming it down against the sand below, sand flying into the air as Heartless flew with it due to the force. Saros proceeded to throw his keyblade into the air as he quickly reached for his whip for a change of weaponry. He cracked his whip, wrapping it around one Hermit Crab Heartless, which proceeded to hide inside the shell. Saros then spun the Heartless around, using its hard shell as a weapon as he proceeded to smack other Heartless away with the original Heartless like a pinball, before proceeding to throw the Heartless into the air and into the sea, watching it fly off until he didn't see it land in the ocean anymore.
