There is evidence in Sora being a light. Mickey lists him as a light when he is talking to MX about the guardians of light and the darknesses. Mickey lists himself, Sora, Riku, TAV (By saying the three that are still missing) and a last one that is apparently on MX's side, by MX's response.

Kairi is not confirmed to be a guardian of light. I do not get why people are discounting Sora and counting Kairi when Mickey never stated Kairi's name as a light and he did state Sora's name. He also confirmed TAV, Riku, and himself. Then he said a last one, but didn't go further cause MX interrupted with "However, both Sora and the last one are on our side". We only know Kairi is going to be trained to wield a keyblade as she is now a target of MX. Sora is guardian a light, he is one of the 7 and we do not know the last one, but he is on MX's side (It's not Terra as he was not referred to as the "last one", but as one of the three that are still missing).

Roxas growing his own heart makes much more sense than a nobody having someone else's heart from what Xemnas said about if the will is there then a heart will bud. What happened to cause Roxas to look like Ven could be the fact that when Sora stabbed himself creating a heartless and nobody the heart of Ven influenced the creation of Roxas. It is not out of the question that Ven's heart ended up in Roxas, Ven (His heart could have came back, but finishing up healing process), or stayed in Sora. There are not any facts proving Roxas had Ven's heart. There are just facts that can build the theory that Ven's heart resided in Roxas, but like I said with the new info given in 3D there is a believable theory of Roxas having his own heart.

The KH universe is different than our actual universe and using time travel theories that we know in real life is a fallacy in explaining KH time travel. But the arugment that Roxas/Ven's hearts have been projected through Sora or into Sora is a huge difference to compared with what Ansem and Xemnas would be doing. To say you can project your body through time and space is to ignore the idea of casting flesh away because Ansem SoD would not have been a spirit when he visited YMX. He would have took use of Riku's body and went through the events of KH1 up until he needed to go back in time because he would have been able to prepare more. So, this cannot be the case.

But if Ansem SoD goes back in time he is altering the future if he informs YMX of what is to come. YMX doesn't know of his future and does not plan for it if Ansem SoD doesn't come, so that is changing the future. I don't know if I can believe that Xemnas and Ansem SoD are projections of themselves because it goes against KH. Now if someone can project their body without an actual body then what is the point of any vessel actually being needed. Thanks for the response though, I just find time travel in anything to be more confusing than helpful.

Lights can be corrupted so MX tried to take Sora because he knew he was able to be corrupted. Yes, MX says that Sora shouldn't have been able to even wield a keyblade, but that doesn't mean he cannot without Ven's heart inside him. Terra seems to be a wildcard in all this because Nomura could say hes a darkness or hes somewhere else or however he wants to troll us, but I'll agree that Terra may not be a darkness because like I said I think it is important that he wasn't shown. The 7th light isn't known, but as MX said the lights are chosen naturally so Lea could never truly replace a light nor Kairi because she is not one of the 7 mentioned in Mickey's list.... And I think Mickey knows where Ven's heart is, he just "forgot" to mention it to Sora as he does with everything.

Sora is on the list. Mickey says "Me, Riku, Sora, the other three (TAV) and the last one..." Then MX responds with as you have in the clip "However, Sora and the last one are on our side." Kairi is not confirmed yet, all we really know is she is just there because she can wield a keyblade. She isn't a light from the evidence of the last one discussion MX and Mickey have, and Kairi isn't on MX's side.

Wait I have a question...I've heard that you cannot change past events so then Ansem SoD going back in time and informing YMX of his future goes against the rules? Also, if you cannot bring people with you then how are Ansem SoD and Xemnas there? They can't all cast their flesh aside and time travel and then regrow bodies...you can only be in a different time without a body.

Sora is one of the lights as the clip of MX and Mickey talking indicate he is one. However, the 13 darknesses are not natural like the lights are, so lights can be corrupted. This is why I don't think Kairi is a light. She may just be learning how to further use a keyblade in order to protect herself and she isn't on MX's side. Terra can be assumed to be a darkness, but he doesn't seem to be present and I think that is important. The absence of Terranort actually show his face means that it may not be so certain he is being controlled by MX still.

The reason I think KH3D should be remade for the ps3 or whatever console KH3 is going to be release on is the fact that not all people got to play it. No More Heroes is an example of a game that was ported to the ps3 and is recently new. I think it would make sense for them to do so because KH3D is vital to the KH storyline. CoM/Days/Coded (somewhat are but not as much as KH3D) I can live with a theater mode for them, but would of course like them as well. BBS is just as important as KH 1 and 2 and the psp is done with now so that can be done on a Sony console easily. I just made this topic with the idea that people who are new to the series won't be too eager to play the games if they see how much they missed out on. Its harder to get into a series if you don't know what the firetruck is going on, especially with this series. Square probably will want to do this to increase sales of KH3.

Oh, I know. I'm not trying to say you did. I just see sometimes people start to infer more into cutscenes and then say its fact (not saying you did), but I think there is an importance about what is still not completely confirmed yet. @sejexs well my Roxas profile pic friend (just playin). But really from the translations it says "The last light would be...." Then MX says, "but the Sora and the last light are on our side". So we do have a 7th light, but it isn't known. Could be Lea or Kairi or Eraqus, whose heart was in Terra's body...or a completely new character/one we didn't think of being a light.

MX never said Sora and Terra he said Sora and the last one. Which does not indicate Terra. We could assume its Terra, but it is not. There was a light that was mentioned to be on MX's side, but not named. Also, the translation may have said "Sora and the last two"...however we still do not know if the last one is Terra or someone else not mentioned. Mickey does not mention a 7th name. It could be assumed it be Kairi, but we have no proof besides a secret ending that did not further it. Its possible Kairi is a just a princess of heart that is going to be able to wield a keyblade since they are missing people for the moment. Remember lights are natural so they cannot be chosen.

I was thinking about how long the series has gone on and that maybe there should be HD remakes on the most important KH games before the release of three. I mean not everyone was able to even play BBS or 3D and they are important games to the KH story. Also, KH 1 and 2 have been out for so long that new comers to the series won't be able to really understand whats going on. Another option is to have like a theater mode similar to that of Yakuza 3 when it did a summary of cutscenes for the previous games.

Yeah I think that ATW did reject MX's heart in the beginning. I posted somewhere before that my theory is ATW fought off the Xehanort's presence in him to help Sora and the gang and his research tells more on the subject of MX's true plan. But now he is apart of org nort as MX's heart was too strong for him to fight anymore.

They all seem to be pretty similar to me. I don't see how much different ATW's eyes truly are from MX or any other Nort.

If YMX takes anyone from the past to the present then the future is altered. What the firetruck happens in KH1 or KH2 then if the main bosses are just taken and wait you can't travel to the future so how can you even collect someone from the past?

As I said in my previous response to Kinode...I understand the how of time travel, but not how YMX can time travel. You cannot have Ansem SoD and Xemnas if YMX casts his flesh aside before those two are made and if its later he is old Xeahnort. You can only time travel backwards so how would YMX be gathering all the norts? And the translation of ending part one speaks of a last light that is not kairi and is on MX's side (This doesn't mean Terra as the translation says "last one" and Mickey refers to a last light that isn't exactly mentioned). BTW...I'm curious to see the translate ending part two where ATW explains his data in Sora's heart to Riku maybe this will solve some issues.

@kinode I understand the time travel that Kh3d proposes, but as I see the events happening is Ansem SoD travels back to the time when he was young visits himself (YMX) and tell his his life up to Kh1. Then YMX uses it to do what? He can't get Ansem SoD and Xemnas to the present if he time travels before Terranort exists. So, how can he be the same age and still time travel if he can only time travel backwards? How can he take Ansem SoD and Xemnas to the future he cannot travel further into the future only backwards. So, there isn't a cut and dry explanation. And ATW and MX have the same color eyes...this idea that they don't is just nitpicking when in fact Nomura could have chosen ATW to have any other eye color, but he chose a color that is very close if not the same color as MX or someone who is another a member of Org. Nort.

Does anyone else think that KH3D created many more plot holes then it did answer questions? 1. Time Travel 2. Nobodies grow hearts...which makes it more complicated to where Ven's heart is/was. 3. Who exactly the seven lights/ thirteen darknesses are? (Question that came up in KH 3d) 4. Why Kairi would be a light and a princess? (same as 3/opinion) 5. How YMX was able to time travel? 6. Where Terranort/AX is? 7. Eraqus seems to be completely forgotten in this whole mess. 8. If a defining trait of being corrupted by MX is golden/yellow eyes then why do ATW and MX have the same color eyes? (My own quesiton about the whole series.) I'm not going to say this game is bad b/c from the looks of it, it seems like a great game, but the story just seems to create more holes and complications in the KH universe.

ATW could have chosen not to battle because he feared if he got weak MX would take control. And @moni_22 I cannot tell much of a difference in eye color from MX and ATW. I don't think we should be so quick to shoot down this idea. I mean it doesn't take much for a person to get a keyblade it seems. Also, ATW has been there since the beginning of the experiments of the heart.

Oh okay, that makes more sense, but there still is a last light that isn't know and is on MX's side. Could the last light be Ansem the Wise? Think about it. He has golden eyes and that is a Xehanort trait. Nobody else has that trait. Could Ansem the Wise have been corrupted, but fought off MX's presence inside him to help Sora and the gang, but now is back under MX's control?

In KH2 Final Mix we see Xemnas talking to Aqua's armor and saying something along the lines of "It's been a long time friend". This seems to indicate that Terra's heart (Could it just be Terra's memories?) may have ended up in Xemnas, but Xemnas himself budded a heart, so I don't see that being likely. MX's plan was to split himself to make more and he found that a heart grew in a person without a heart so with his memories in his nobody he could create another Xehanort. Terra's heart must have went somewhere. Maybe into his armor? We know that nobodys do not have hearts, but grow them. So does anybody have any theories on where Terra's heart is? KH3D doesn't seem to really address TAV besides a flashback and mentioning them a few times.

Lea wasn't know to be a light yet and Kairi being a princess of pure heart and a guardian of light doesn't really make sense. So, I still don't think the last light is known exactly yet.

So, who is the last one b/c it cannot be Terra or if it is then it is a not translated right I guess? Lea is a keyblade wielder so he would/could be the 7th? Who exactly was MX and Mikcey referring to? It could be terra, but the translation says the three who are missing which includes Terra, Lea isn't in the seats he comes from outside the realm of sleep so it isn't him, and Kairi isn't on MX side (plus she is a pure heart). Maybe Kairi is on MX side all along and her grandmom and MX fell in love and had a kid who is the parent of Kairi?! I'm just playing with that one.

The true form of Xemnas and Ansem is themselves. It was revealed in a cutscene where Braig and Xemnas confront Sora that a heart begins to bud in a being that does not have one. Basically becoming a heartless and a nobody isn't becoming half versions of yourself, but a way of dividing yourself into two, which aligns with MX true goal. A heartless (Ansem SoD) needs a body to be complete and he got it from Riku. Xemnas had a body, but needed a heart to be a full Xehanort and that happened on its own.
