Codename: CIRCUS
Nine smiled softly as Happy and a few other guards began to approach him. With Victor being carried away like some kind dead animal, the red head smirked as he rose his hand out in front of him. It was clear that he was refusing to let anyone else come closer to him than what Happy already was. "I'm afraid you have misunderstood Happy. I didn't surrender to you, I surrendered to this Circus. Not even you could make me surrender. A trip to the Red Carriage does sound fun though." With a flick of his wrist, a knife appeared in Nine's hand, mimicking the act that Victor had performed earlier that night. "Now now, no need to be alarmed. I am simply showing you that I am 100% human without any supernatural abilities at all." Carefully, Nine cut an opening across his palm and faced it to the ground so that his blood could drip. However, Nine's blood was strange as it didn't just consist of blood, but something that made it look much darker than usual. "Can't see it yet? Good, then that means it's working like it should. I'll have you all know that inside of my body are an innumerable amount of tiny machines in my blood stream called Nanites. They're so small that I can create weapons from nothing within milliseconds and all I have to do is think it. Hell, these Nanites can even regenerate lost limbs. By this time tomorrow, I will be completely healed despite having broken 7 of my ribs, punctured both of my lungs, cracked my skull a few times and even ruptured my intestines in that fight with Victor just now." Nine put his hands behind his head as he slowly led down on the ground calmly. "If you want to know where I got all of this technology then I guess I could tell you that I'm from the future, but I don't think you'd believe that. Though, this is a strange world we live in after all. If you want some proof, then I guess I'll have to provide you with this!" Reaching behind him, Nine pulled out a letter with a presidential seal on it. "This is for Happy. It's to explain what they know about me and that I have personally requested to be placed in this Circus under your strict supervision. Even if I lied to the President about being from the future, it seems he still wants me to be under your watch in case I try anything apocalyptic with my "abilities". If you want to know why I decided to pick a fight with Victor, let's just say I have a grudge against him that he doesn't yet understand." Yawning a little, Nine scratched his head a little in thought, wondering if he had forgotten anything. It was then that he realised he had forgotten the most important thing. With a bright smile, Nine turned to Happy and giggled. "I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Nine. It's nice to meet you all and I hope we can get along!"

Nine looked around, spinning as everyone was gathering around him and ready to fight. "Well~ Aren't we all just one big, happy family. Willing to step into another person's fight just to protect another." Nine was mostly cocky, laughing at everyone as he drew all of their attention. However, the smile soon faded from the red head's lips as he watched Tabitha stand in front of Victor. "GET AWAY FROM HIM NOW?!!" Nine started running towards them, but there was no time for him to do anything. From behind Tabitha, Victor's grabbed the pinkette tightly, sinking his teeth straight into her throat. The Vampire drank Tabitha's blood thoroughly, weakening her to the point she was barely conscious. Coming to her rescue, Nine jumped and kicked at Victor's face with both of his legs, separating the two. Nine continued his assault on Victor, but things weren't going to go the same as last time. With fresh human blood coursing through his body, Victor's speed and strength sky rocketed to a level that Nine was completely useless against. Disappearing from view, Victor began pounding on Nine with devastating punches. Appearing behind Nine, Victor raised both of his arms, locking them together before smashing him straight into the ground. Nine tumbled to the ground, bouncing a few times due to the sheer force of that last attack. Victor took a few steps back before doing a quick run-up, kicking Nine heavily in the ribs. Nine was coughing heavily on the ground, his body looking completely and utterly broken. But despite all of this damage, all of these wounds that should have killed him, Nine began laughing. "You think I'll die... From this?! Don't... Make me laugh!!" With a great deal of effort, the boy courageously got back to his feet, looking like he could literally drop dead at any given moment. The laughter continued and Victor's rage continued to ensnare him. "You want me... to fight you seriously..." Nine raised his hand slowly, Victor stared at him in confusion as the red head pointed his finger like a gun. "... Bang!" There was no sound and there was nothing to look at, but somehow, Victor held his chest like he'd just been shot by a gun. His eyes wide as his rage slowly faded. "What just... Happened?" Victor's sanity had returned, but only in time for him to collapse onto the ground, defeated. With his victory, Nine looked around at everyone else that was stood around them. Very slowly, he raised both of his arms above his head, a smile stained by blood appeared on his face. "I surrender. Take me as your prisoner and I'll agree to tell you why I'm here... For the most part anyway."

Slowly waking, Victor's eyes were narrow and glowing a shade of crimson. With his body becoming pale and almost blue from the loss of blood, the Vampire sat up slowly as his hands tightened. Something seemed different about Victor at this moment, almost as if he weren't really awake and was still dreaming. "Happy... I am gonna kill him... I will burn him alive... I will not stop until I crush his head between my fingers and drain his body dry of blood... He will pay for what he has done to me... That man is nothing but a disease that I will eradicate from this world!" Without being fully aware of himself, Victor was revealing the deep blood lust that rested within him. Rolling out of Happy's arms and dropping to the ground with a thud, the teen pulled on his shirt, taking off his tie and undoing the first couple of buttons to show off his neck more. His finger nails had began to appear sharper and his fangs were outstretched far more than usual. With the wound in his back slowly closing up, His veins popping slowly and his hair standing on end, Victor immediately took off at a speed that was impossible for an ordinary human to track. Being able to throw hundreds of knives without them touching the floor was just proof of how he can use his speed while standing still. Now that he was running, Victor dashed through the entirety of the audience without any of them noticing, making sure to grab hold of the culprit who threw the knife based on the direction it came from. Soon enough arriving outside of the Circus with the red haired teen, Nine, in his grasp, the audience was left to wonder where he had disappeared to and simply acknowledged it as a disappearing act performed by the Circus itself. "Oh no~... It looks like you found me!" Victor was in no mood for games, pulling his fist back and throwing a punch directly at the boy in his clutches like a wild beast. However, Nine was truly slippery, ducking beneath Victor, grabbing his arm and throwing him over his shoulder. With Victor acting like a feral creature, he recovered while on all fours, gritting his teeth in an unquenchable rage. "For a man that's supposedly an artist who wants to make the world peaceful, you sure do have a lot of anger in you, don't you?" Nine smirked as he shuffled a deck of cards in his hands. Victor dashed at Nine once again, his "tantrum" having no sign of dying down just yet. Nine jumped back a few times, kiting away from Victor despite the Vampire's super speed. "This is fun! I haven't had a challenge like this in years! So, tell me which card you like the most." Before anything else could happen, Victor pierced through Nine's chest with his arm. Or at least, it looked like he did. Even the feral Victor could tell whether or not he could feel any resistance against his hand and at that moment, there was no resistance. "... Do not... HIDE FROM ME!!" Victor screamed out, he was completely losing control of his rage. It was only a matter of time before someone would come to inspect and Victor would most likely make a meal out of them. Nine, the real one, was hiding nearby, commanding a hologram to toy with Victor and increase his anger. "I was surprised that you managed to find me out of the crowd when you were in the middle of your performance, but if you couldn't even tell when I switched with my double, then this will be easier than what I was hoping for. It looks like you really aren't strong enough after all." Victor paused for a moment, simply standing in the same spot for a few seconds. Nine narrowed his eyes to try and figure out what he was doing. With a few twitches of his ears and nose. Nine realised he was in trouble. Victor's gaze fell directly on the tent that Nine was hiding behind and within a second, the two were face to face. "Any chance you would like to... maybe... let me go?" Grabbing at Nine's throat, Victor lifted him off the ground before slamming him against the ground with the force to break even greatest of warriors. Nine coughed up some blood, but his insistent smirk persisted. "Man, there goes my rib cage. That was impressive, I think I only have three ribs left and the others have probably punctured all of my internal organs... Not like that will kill me anyway. It's because you're weak... that I can't die..." Victor's eyes pulsed red, he'd truly passed the point where he could be calmed down with just words. Kneeling down, Victor opened his mouth wide and bit into Nine's neck. But, as soon as he tasted the blood, he spat it out immediately and tossed Nine away from him. Victor had a minor moment of clarity, but it didn't last long. "Disgusting!" "Thank you very much." While Victor was busy trying to clean his tongue of the vile and horrible blood that had poisoned him, Nine managed to get up and kick Victor in his gut. Despite appearing as a normal human and not looking particularly fast, the red head was still capable of landing decisive blows against Victor. "I wonder... how much longer will you be able to keep this up..." Nine smirked to himself, looking down at Victor with a condescending glare. "... you Demon."

Nine chuckled to himself as Mister Z seemed to be the interesting individual and would make sure to come visit him again after the show. In the mean time, the red head sat in his seat patiently as the Happy opened up the show, introducing Victor's act first. With a malicious smirk, Nine propped his face up on his fist, the anticipation ticking away at him. "It won't be long now..." Smiling at his lovely assistant, Victor began to glow with confidence and it seemingly leaked from his body. "Let us go." Stepping onto the stage under the cover of the smoke, it had appeared to the audience that Victor had magically teleported to the centre of the stage. Throwing his arms out to either side, the Vampire smiled and looked around yo see everyone. "Welcome everyone! I see that you are all looking comfortable for tonight's act. Well, don't get used to it, because I will be sending chills down your spines." Victor then stretched out on hand in front of him, pulling on the sleeve. "As you can see, I have nothing hidden up my sleeves or within the inside of my jacket. However..." With a very brief flick of his wrist, a knife had appeared between Victor's fingers. "... I seem to be holding a knife!" The crowd cheered slightly, a lot of clapping echoing throughout the tent. "Please, the act has not even begun." Without warning, Victor had tossed the knife in a seemingly random direction, but it had miraculously hit the bullseye of a dartboard without him even looking. "From here on out, the real show will begin. If you would all welcome my beautiful assistant, Tabitha, up onto the stage please." The crowd gave a round of applause and the occasional whistle as Victor brought into view, leading her by the hand. "Now, a warning to you children. This is a very dangerous act and should not be attempted at home... Or anywhere else for that matter. After all, how will I earn my money if anyone can do it?" The crowd laughed as Victor took the role of the comedian during the act. Flicking his hands through the air once again, more knives seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Holding three in each hand, Victor smiled at Tabitha. "Now, my next act will be to have the lovely Miss Tabitha stand with her back to the wall as I throw these knives around her. Where will I be aiming you may ask? From 40 feet away, I will be aiming... Between her finger tips." There were many whispers in the crowd about whether or not Victor could do it, but they were unaware that he possessed such inhuman eyesight that would make this child's play. As Tabitha moved into position, Victor took his own on roughly the other side of the stage. Victor nodded to Tabitha, trying to reassure her that everything would be fine. Throwing one knife at a time, the knives landed in between Tabitha's finger and the crowd cheered as he showed them that Tabitha was complete unharmed. "Thank you, thank you. Now, it's time for the trick you've been waiting for. My brand new trick that all of you will bear witness too for the first time. My very own Dance of Blades." Pacing on stage slowly, the Vampire looked throughout the crowd to try and take in everyone he could. "There should be at least... 700 people sitting around me at this moment. Tell me if I'm wrong, but each of you should have a dart board underneath each of your seats right now, correct?" The crowds searched their seats and eventually, everyone had found it. "Very good. Now, to those of you who are observant enough, you may have been thinking: "What is that hanging above that man's head?". Well, now I can answer that question. Hanging above me is exactly the number of knives as there are people in this room. For this trick, I will require all of you to hold your dart boards above your heads and to remain very still." Victor began stretching his arms above his head, looking around at everyone. With his gaze drifting to a strange individual with red hair, Victor's eyes narrowed. "As you can see everyone, this is an extraordinarily dangerous trick which could result in my death if performed incorrectly. So, in order to protect myself, I will require all of your cooperation and silence during the act so that I may maintain my concentration." Victor's serious face then transformed into a big smile, confidently looking up at everyone. "Watch me push my limits and I will make sure that you will not be disappointed." Looking over at Tabitha, unsure of whether or not she would be worried about him. Even as a Vampire, he would still most likely die if all of these knives were to puncture his body and make their way to his heart. Yet again, his heart will always be his number one weakness. Giving Tabitha a very sincere smile, it was almost like he was preparing himself to die before hand. "Alright people! Let's dance!" With a loud click of his fingers, the suspended knives were suddenly cut. They began to fall through the air. Victor looked out to see everyone holding up their individual dart board. With the knives nearing Victor's body, the vampire closed his eyes for what seemed like only a tenth of a second before the Vampiric glow in his eyes appeared centre stage. As if the world were moving in slow motion, Victor began taking the slowly falling blades and tossing them through the air, directly towards their targets. Moving around in a certain circular motion, it was almost like the Vampire was dancing with the blades themselves. To everyone else, Victor's hands were moving at such a speed that it was almost impossible to keep track of. He was actually doing the seemingly impossible task of taking and throwing every knife directly to the centre of each and every dart board without the knives hitting himself or the floor. Everything for Victor was going as planned, however an unexpected problem had arrived. A knife was inches from piercing into Victor's gut, a knife that should not have been there in the first place. Acting quickly, Victor flicked up his jacket and turned to the other knives around him. Continuing with the act, the knife had dug into Victor's back, his jacket falling over it to cover it up. "(That trajectory and strength. This knife was thrown from the crowd... I need to finish this act quickly. I didn't drink my blood while I was talking to Tabitha in my trailer. I'll probably pass out as soon as I get off the stage...)" Making sure to throw and land every single knife, Victor began to breathe heavily as he then smiled to the crowd. "And there you have it everyone! The Dance of Blades!" The audience roared with cheers, whistles and clapping. Giving a bow, Victor's pale complexion was looking even paler than usual. "Thank you everyone! May you further enjoy the Dark Woods Circus!" Victor slowly took his leave from the stage, running into Tabitha back stage. "Hey, did you see? I was pretty cool up there... Oh shi~..." Victor's vision suddenly blurred as he fell to the ground, the knife in his back sticking out.

Briefly splitting up from Tabitha, Victor had made his way to the big tent where many people were beginning to take their seats. "Looks like we will have a full house tonight. Good, the more people the better." Victor grinned, becoming slightly cocky at how he'll fair during the performance. In waiting, the snow haired Vampire sat down back stage, contemplating his interactions with Tabitha earlier. He was positive that she wasn't taking him seriously whenever he talked about putting his life on the line. Did she think he was joking around or that he was the joke? Victor sighed to himself as he didn't know if he really liked Tabitha or really disliked her. Sure she was kind and beautiful, but he also found her to be quite noncommittal whenever they talked alone. Not having to wait long however, Victor saw Tabitha arrive back wearing a new black dress with her hair tied back. Victor had to turn away and put a hand to his chest to make sure his heart wasn't beating or that his face wasn't glowing red. Thankfully, being a Vampire means having no heart beat and thus no capability to blush. Getting to his feet and standing up in front of Tabitha, Victor cleared his throat as he built up his courage a little. "Well... You look quite beautiful this evening. I did not expect you would actually have something in black though. You seem the type to wear brighter coloured clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of people out there. Are you ready?" Victor asked, putting his left arm behind his back and offering his right hand to Tabitha so that they might walk out on stage together. ~Meanwhile~ Nine smiled at Z as he asked him about his cards and how the Circus acts during their performances. Chuckling to himself, Nine held up the card to Z, offering it to him. "Trust me, I know how this Circus operates. But you see, that's fine for me because it only makes my job easier. Anyway, I'm talking about a whole different kind of pressure when it comes tonights performance." Nine smirked as the man asked for his name, proceeding to hold up the one card in his hand. "Let me show you some "real" magic." Very suddenly, the card in Nine's hand began to catch on fire, burning endlessly without actually destroying the card itself. The only thing that seemed to change was the front of the card changing. The Jack of Hearts burnt away, leaving the Nine of Diamonds behind. As soon as the transition was complete, Nine handed the card over to Z. "My name is Nine, I'll be joining this circus beginning tomorrow, but don't tell anyone else. This will be our little secret." Nine stepped forward in the queue and bought his ticket. "See you around old man." And with that, Nine went inside the big tent, taking his seat as he waited for the performances to begin.

Victor stared at Tabitha as she carefully folded his neck tie, his gaze unflinching and unblinking. Watching as she leaned in closer, declaring how he would have to take her to dinner should he mess up his act, Victor also leaned closer. With their faces only centimeters apart, the Vampire's eyes narrowed seriously, almost as if he were trying to convey a message of great importance through his gaze alone. "If I were to mess up this act, I would not be able to take you to dinner even if I wanted to. So..." Victor took a step back, sliding a finger inside his collar to ever so slightly create some room so that his neck would sit more comfortably. "If I do pull off this performance without getting anything wrong, then perhaps you would not mind treating me?" Victor smiled slightly, but he averted his eyes while under the cover of darkness from his cabin. He was very fond of Tabitha, but he could not let go of the past. "Also... One other thing. When we go out there tonight... Do not intervene no matter what you see. Even if it looks like I am about to die, you must not interfere, understand?" Moving to the door, Victor opened it slowly, bathing the room and the pair in an orange glow from the setting Sun. "Let's go get ready. We've got a show to put on." ~Meanwhile~ "The Dark Woods Circus~... They seem to be quite the lively bunch." Queuing to get a ticket for that night's performance, a young man with red hair was messing around with a deck of playing cards, shuffling them using unusually complicated methods. The boy's current name was Nine and it was unknown to many who this person was. Ceasing the shuffling of the cards, Nine put a hand up to the side of his head. "Okay~... Searching for info... There's a lot of stuff here. Not all that much on the Ringmaster. Hehehe, maybe he's just as mysterious as I am." Nine chuckled to himself, comparing himself to Happy and how similar they "might" be. "Either way, I'm more interested in tonight's main event... The fabled "Dance of Blades" performed by Mr Victor Graham..." Nine smirked as he slammed his hands together, causing all but one of the cards in his hands to disappear. Revealing the card to himself, Nine found the Jack of Hearts resting in between his fingers. "... Let's see how well he can react under pressure."

However, when the youth proclaimed that he was from the future, the government themselves were sceptical at first until he began to exhibit what appeared to be supernatural like abilities. Being so sure that he was an ordinary human, the threat from Nine had become imminent. Fortunately, the boy had other plans. He explained that he was on some kind of quest and requested to be placed within the Dark Woods Travelling Circus specifically. Deciding to watch the show before making his presence known to the Circus, Nine continues to make people question who he really is. It would be like comparing modern day technology to cavemen, and so he decided that it would be easier for them to comprehend it as "magic". He likes playing with cards, explaining that it's "nostalgic" for games to be played physically. He drinks a lot from a seemingly infinite bottle, saying that he has "hydration issues". Victor frowned slightly to himself, feeling like his mind was betraying him by revealing to Tabitha all of his personal memories that he wasn't ready to divulge yet. "I'll get around to telling you about some things that have happened some other time." But before Victor could continue to talk about anything, Tabitha had brought up a girl in pink that smelled of roses from his past. His gaze dropped and his hands tightened into fists. He did not mean to do Tabitha any harm, he simply became frustrated with having to remember. "She was just some girl I used to know, roughly 140 years ago in London... I guess you could say it's because of her that I arrived here at this Circus and I don't think it was a coincidence." Victor got to his feet, walking over to a wardrobe and taking out a very stylish black suit that had a black shirt, a black waistcoat and a black thin neck tie. Not even minding Tabitha's company and not feeling embarrassed in the slightest, the immortal teen began to change into what he would be wearing for his performance. Even though he'd briefly brought up his past, Victor was hesitant to let Tabitha into his head any more than he had to. He was curious about his future, but that meant letting her in about his past at the same time. it was like a double edged sword for him. "Anyway, the performance shouldn't be too tough. You might have to stand around with an apple on your head as I throw knives at your head occasionally, but I assure you that it'll be perfectly safe. Since becoming a Vampire, I've never missed." Slipping his hands through the sleeves of his jacket, Victor turned back to Tabitha and slung his tie around his neck. "Can you help me with this bit? I'm still not used to wearing these tie things." ----------Victor's Suit: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/96/f2/a5/96f2a5cacd9a3e8659dd75b75ee70614.jpg

-Tokyo Ghoul:Unraveled- (4x4)
Within the CCG HQ, the so-called "Experiment" had escaped from his restraints and was now roaming around the building. The Experiment, a young man by the name of Shiki was cautiously making his way through the building undetected, regardless of them being on full alert. It turns out that having grown as a future investigator comes with certain benefits now that the boy had become a half Ghoul. Currently laying low in a janitors closet with no cameras on, Shiki was devising a plan to escape the facility. But first, he would need something he took a liking too many years ago. Shiki opened the door slowly, waiting for a patrol to pass before exiting the closet. Sticking close to the walls, Shiki descended the floors of the CCG one by one until he reached the 5th floor of the colossal building. On this floor, all kinds of items that belonged to Ghouls who had been killed or capture was stored here. Before entering the room that contained the masks worn by previous Ghouls, Shiki prepared himself. He knew there were cameras watching the door and that he would be seen as soon he entered. But no matter what, he had to get what he came for if he really wanted to start over. Getting ready, Shiki had a habit of clicking his neck before doing something dangerous and he did so now before his Kagune sprouted out of his back. "I'm ready..." Bursting down the door with brute force, alarms started going off immediately. Using his Kagune's ability to augment his speed, Shiki searched the room as fast as he could before his gaze landed on a mask that was fit to sit on the lower half of someone's face. Taking it, Shiki turned back to the door to find two investigators approaching him. Not wanting to kill them, Shiki ran at the Investigators before, at the last second, pivoted on his foot to run back into the room. Picking up the pace, the investigators could see what Shiki was running for, he was going to leap to the next building over by jumping through the window. Smashing through the glass, Shiki discovered that his Kagune did not provide him with flight, but took the form of a type of aura around his back that increased his speed while reducing his stamina. Free flowing through the air, Shiki reaches the nearby, neighbouring building and climbs onto it's roof. Gritting his teeth from the pain of using his Kagune for so long, Shiki was already beginning to feel tired. But he had to keep running and running because if he didn't then he'd be caught and then killed or, even worse, ”experimented" on even more. Getting down from the roof, the half Ghoul had to find a way of staying out of sight from the CCG. Quickly, he looked for an entryway into the sewers so that he may lay low for a while. "I'll make them pay for what they've done to me." ~Meanwhile~ Alice sipped from her cup of coffee as more people entered the cafe with the majority of them being men. Growing tired, the black haired beauty crossed her arms with a frown, seemingly unimpressed by Lovino's "entrance". Alice was interested in what a human was doing amongst a group of Ghouls. It was clear that the young man behind the bar was aware of everyone else in the room being a Ghoul, but he did not cower as a response. Finally deciding to speak up to Feliciano, Alice's voice was strong and carried something that sounded like authority with it. "Okay Mr Cafe owner, I think it's about time you got to telling us all why we're here and how did you know who to deliver of those letters to?"

As Tabitha came to knock on the Vampire's cabin, Victor was lying down on his bed thinking of his past. "Give me a minute, I will be there now." Victor groaned quietly, tidying up a little because it's always nice to welcome a woman into a clean environment. Making sure that his cabin was in order, Victor opened the door and stared at Tabitha standing in front of him. Putting on one of his charming and misleading smiles, Victor appeared to be as happy as can be. "So~... We are going to be understaffed and you are offering your assistance? That would be wonderful. While I show off my skills, you can get the crowds attention with your... Ummm... Hmmm." Putting his hand to his chin, Victor had to try and figure out how he could tell Tabitha that she was attractive without sounding as if he were coming on to her. His conclusion, better to just avoid that statement completely. "Anyway, feel free to come in for a bit. I am sure that I have a few things you could eat, drink or play around with. Sorry, think of me like an old man. I am still in awe at the concept of hundreds of people boarding jumbo jet aeroplanes and going from one side of the planet to the other in only a few hours. Then again, feel free to think I am still this "super-hot-immortal-teen-thing", you wouldn't be the first if you did." Victor went back into his cabin, sitting down and allowing Tabitha the opportunity to enter if she wished. "I have had quite a few people praise me on my appearance, how I look like the embodiment of handsomeness... But I do not think it is because they are looking at me. Being a Vampire you are granted with certain abilities, one of them being the ability to charm others. It acts as a way to lure people so that we can drink their blood somewhere less conspicuous. Unfortunately, this charm does not actually turn off, so do not be surprised if we get a dozen women throwing themselves at me after tonight's performance." Victor then paused before sighing to himself. "I am sorry... I am rabbling. I always end up rambling. Please tell me to stop if you are getting bored at all. I am sure there are more interesting things to talk about than my life... Well, maybe not that many because of how long I have lived, but I am sure there is something." Victor was flustered. He didn't want to turn Tabitha away because he ended up talking too much and he didn't want her coming onto him just because of his stupid charm ability, even though he was sure she could resist it due to her being a psychic. He just wanted to get to know her as a friend. "But, just to let you know, if my past is something you are interested in, then you only need to ask me. Just... Do not pry into it alone without my permission using your power. I have a few secrets that are better left forgotten."

Watching a city burn from a distance, Victor stared with a heavy heart, knowing one singular fact as he did. This was a dream. Not just any dream, but a memory. One that was better left forgotten. The year was 1666 and the city was none other than London. A fire had come to life, destroying everything in its path. Victor had been a Vampire for almost 70 years, but he had yet to deal with a burden such as this for the fire was his own doing. The dream was much more than a memory in Victor’s mind. It was torture. He had made friends, he had made bonds and he'd even met someone he'd fallen in love with. But in the end, everything was engulfed in the raging flames of the city, there was nothing he could do but sit back and watch. From the darkness, a voice emerged to seemingly taunt Victor. "I thought you might have learned by now, you can't have things like families and friends. You are destined to live alone forever." Victor turned to see what looked like another version of himself. One with paler skin, fanged teeth and a pair of glowing red eyes. This was the cold blooded Vampire that Victor was forced to become, the half of that no longer regarded himself as a human. "You may think of this as a curse of some kind, but I will refuse to do so. We have been granted the opportunity to live forever. Who would have cared about some artist named Viktor Graham? You were up against Leonardo Da Vinci, and you would have been forgotten. That's what it truly means to be dead." The human like side of Victor turned back to the enormous flames of the burning city. "Then by that definition, if being forgotten is what it means to be truly dead... Then are we even alive anymore? This fire... Is only one of the many mistakes I have made over the course of my life... And I am sure there are more to come." Both halves stood next to each other, staring into the fires. "If you want to take the easy way out, then you know what to do." Awakening to the darkness of his cabin, Victor stared at the roof before slowly sitting up. He rubbed his eyes with a yawn before simply sitting on his bed, pondering deeply about his most recent dream. "I can't die... Not when I have a promise to keep." He was unsure of how much time had passed, but he did know one thing. There was an act to perform and Victor needed to be ready. He sharpened his blades as Tabita suggested and made sure to take a few practice throws to be sure he wasn't off at all. He was ready to put on the show of a lifetime. Now he only wished that the right people would come to see his act.

-Tokyo Ghoul:Unraveled- (4x4)
Walking through the streets, pride in her mighty strut, Alice smiled as she was texting a few of her friends over the phone. Having received a particular letter earlier that day, the black haired college student marched her way towards the anime cafe that the letter had told her to arrive at. Despite already being a member of the Aogiri Tree, this was Alice's first real opportunity to meet some of the higher up member of the organisation. Making sure that her confidence didn't drop in the slightest, Alice walked in with her all to familiar smirk as she approached the counter to find to young men around her age. Putting her elbows on the counter and crossing her fingers in order to rest her head on, Alice charmingly spoke to the two boys in a somewhat demanding yet bossy tone. "So, which of the two of you are responsible for a certain letter appearing in my hands when I woke up this morning?" Alice took out the letter and placed it down on the counter in front of the staff members of the cafe. "Also, while I'm here, I'll take a coffee. Bring it around to me when it's done would ya?" Alice then yawned a little, going over to sit at a table and proceeded to put her feet up on top of said table while continuing to chat with people over the phone. Being the popular and attractive girl she knew she was, her work was cut out for her if she wanted to maintain her image as the type of girl who could get whatever she wanted no matter what.

After taking another long walk around the area where they'd set up camp for the time being, Victor returned to his own trailer and headed inside. Due to his nature, he preferred unnatural neon lighting that was currently set to dark blue option, but could be changed at the click of a button. Much to his delight, Victor's trailer featured no windows with the only way for light to get in would be through the door leading outside. This was a great environment for a creature of the night to relax in during the day where it would usually be exhausting. "Tabita did say I needed to sharpen my knives, so I guess I'll go ahead and do that. Maybe the prediction of me treating the twins to ice cream happens tomorrow or something... Those predictions of hers never were very accurate..." Victor made sure the door was closed tightly before falling back on to his bed, sighing loudly. In this place where no one would disturb him, Victor no longer felt the need to pretend to be someone that everyone could rely on. In this place, he could be himself which was none other than a lonely old man in a young man's body. Closing his eyes, Victor reached over to his bedside table and picked up a set of three darts. "There's a problem with immortality. They say it takes over a thousand hours in order to master a skill... But even that much time..." Victor threw the darts in unison, hitting three separate dart boards dead in the centre at exactly the same time. "... feels like nothing more than seconds... How long has it been since I've had a challenge?" Victor opened his eyes as they began to glow a bright red in the darkness of the trailer. "This performance... I'm not doing it for the audience... I'm doing it for me... I need to prove that even though I'm a Vampire, I am still alive. So if I can't even put my "life" in danger to prove that, then what the hell is the point?!" Victor grit his teeth at no one, getting worked up from all of his talking when there wasn't even anyone there to talk to. "... Maybe its just better if I sleep until tonight's performance... Yeah... Just rest... In the darkness..." Victor's mumbles continued until he eventually fell into the unconscious grasp of sleep. However, sweet dreams were not in store for the immortal's short nap.

When the Apple Falls (Roleplay)
After listening to all of the suggestions that both Dexter and Fiona had to offer, Azriel had decided that it might be best to find his way back to the dorms. Even though Dexter had told him he was not a burden, Azriel had a hard time believing that he wasn't interrupting their day. "I think I would like to go and visit my dorm. I'm sure I can find the school on my own, so I do not think a guide will be necessary." Azriel was about to leave rather coldly without another word but he looked back over his shoulder at Dexter. Sighing to himself, he knew he had to do something to show that he was at least a little bit grateful. Reaching into his bag, he took out a miniature notebook and a pen, scribbling something down. After a few seconds, Azriel neatly tore the page from the book and handed it over to Dexter. "This is my phone number. I have never given it out before, so be mindful about who you give this number to. If you need anything, then just call me and I'll see what I can do." Azriel then turned, picking up all of his bags and headed towards the door. "I will see you all again soon. Good bye for now." Azriel then left the building, heading in the direction he believed the school and its dorms to be. "They were nice... Slightly naive... But nice..."

Occupation: College Student Bio: Growing up as a Ghoul, life was always going to be hard for Alice as she would always know that she was different to all of the other kids around her. For the longest time, she didn't understand why she couldn't tell people who she was. As her father was the one who brought the "food" home, Alice never suspected that what they were doing might be morally wrong or might put others in danger. However, one day her father had been caught by the CCG while out hunting and in order to protect his family, he died without giving up any information. Hearing about this, the world itself began getting a little darker in Alice's eyes. Blending in during the day as a college student, Alice dons a mask at night as a member of the Aogiri Tree, intent on finding the Investigator responsible for her father's murder. Themesong: Extra info: ONE-EYED GHOUL: Artificial or Natural: Artificial Name: Shiki Akuma Ghoul Nickname: Dark Angel / The Experiment Mask: Gender: Male Age: 21 Appearance: Kagune type: Ukaku Kagune appearance: His kagune appears like black wings that seem to be made out of shadows, but are actually just thousands of individual kagune that are circle around his upper shoulders. Occupation: Run away experiment from the CCG. Bio: Having been raised as an orphan from birth by the CCG due to his parents having been killed by Ghouls, Shiki was taught to hate ghouls for what they had done to his family, and it worked. Between the ages of 6 and 15, Shiki was striving to become the youngest Investigator in recorded history and his test scores were off the charts. However, a few of the higher ups in the CCG had something else planned for the teen. Abducting him away one night by force, Shiki was taken to an underground facility for Ghoul experimentation. The things that Shiki bore witness to in that place completely changed his perspective on everything. Ghouls were like cattle and the CCG were the farmers. It was then, at that time, that they experimented on Shiki to find out exactly how far he would go. Being seemingly tortured and experimented on for days on end, the white haired boy was transformed into an artificial One Eyed Ghoul. Fortunately for Shiki, the scientists had underestimated the power of his new and unstable Kagune. Breaking free from his restraints, the experiment then rampaged within the laboratory until finding an eventual way out. On the run from the CCG, Shiki has managed to adapt to the lifestyle of a Ghoul, but keeps doubting himself morally when it comes to having to eat other human beings in order to survive, choosing to not kill people whenever possible. Peace of Mind (Roleplay)
Even though everyone was talking to each other in front of him, Abaddon had barely taken any notice of what anyone was saying to him as he had become distracted from all of their pointless talking. Sighing to himself, the young Prince was seemingly exhausted even though he hadn't long gotten out of bed. After hearing the others talk about getting breakfast, Abaddon allowed the others to proceed before following suit himself, not wanting to seem like he was stalking them. Approaching the counter in the cafeteria, Abaddon began ordering his food with more flamboyance than what anyone else could possibly show within that particular institute. "I will have your finest pancakes, laced with maple syrup, whipped cream and dotted with strawberries. On the side I will have one English tea with milk and five spoon full of sugar as well as some complimentary slices of toast. Now remember this time, the toast should appear to be undercooked in order to allow the butter to melt in while withholding the softness of the bread." Expecting his food to be delivered directly to him, the demon Prince walked over to a completely vacant table and sat down on his own, not wanting to be bothered by the other inmates. Even though they were only sat a few tables over, Abaddon could hear all of their bickering about what they should do for the rest of the day and it was driving him insane, ironically. Soon enough, the food that the teen had ordered arrived, delivered on a shining set of silverware. Picking his fork up with a smile, Abaddon was about to dig in when he froze at the last second. "... What is this?" The whole kitchen staff froze in terror as those were the words of destruction that would surely come to them. Abaddon then smiled intimidatingly at the kitchen staff.# "I am joking, the food is perfect. You may keep your lives once again for today." As Abaddon began digging into his food, the kitchen staff let out a large sigh of relief in unison, proving just how terrified of Abaddon they truly were. A lesson was to be learned here and it was; When serving a Prince, anything short of perfection will mean death.

Finally getting his hands free from the earth beneath him, Victor sat back smiling and chuckling. Even though he usually hung out alone, he was always cheerful around others, usually taking on the role of the fool. Looking around, Victor was glad to see that all was well and everyone was happy. Noticing that there were new quests up on the bulletin board, Victor jumped to his feet curiously. Fixing his clothes and dusting the earth off his hands, the immortal approached the bulletin board with a slight frown. "Damn, it doesn't matter what there is to offer, I can't go because I'm already performing in the show. Well, I guess I can't complain when I'm going to be tonights main attraction." Victor puffed out his collar confidently, looking quite arrogant to those who were standing around him. "Anyway~... Where did those troublesome kids go? I thought they wanted me to treat them to ice cream." Victor shrugged, turning away as he walked around with his hands behind his head. Glimpsing over at a few windows of the local buildings, Victor groaned as he was unable to see his own reflection. "How's a Vampire supposed to brush his hair, seriously?" Even though he seemed to be joking on the outside, Victor was beginning to feel terrible on the inside. He'd lived for so long without coming into contact with his reflection, the Vampire had actually forgotten what he'd looked like. Coming to a halt, Victor closed his eyes and lay his hands over his face. Whispering to himself, feeling as if he were the only person who existed in the world, Victor spoke. "I feel these features... I understand how they fit together... I can see a face... But I do not see myself. This is the face of a stranger who died... A very long time ago... And I am just his shadow."

With Tabita taking his hand, Victor's smile dimmed slightly as he seemed somewhat conflicted by letting himself be touched by her, Being told that he needed to sharpen his knives for the performance that night, Victor brightened up a little with a small chuckle. "I guess there's hiding nothing from you, right Tabita? Your power is a pretty interesting one. I haven't seen anything like it in a very long time." Tabita then predicted that he would also be treating Kate and Nate to some ice cream and almost on cue, they had appeared demanding chocolate cake as well. Victor sighed in defeat as he simply had no choice but to treat the twins now. Even if he didn't want to, he would probably end up doing it because of Tabita's prediction. "Alright kids, I'll treat you. But in return, I want you to help me with my act tonight. You won't have to do much, just pull some strings off stage while I'm performing. Trust me, this will be my greatest performance yet." Victor smiled and laughed to himself, feeling quite happy with himself, something that he'd had a hard time finding in the last 400 years. The Vampire then noticed the twins run straight into someone carrying a few boxes, knocking themselves and Orali over in the process. Getting up and gently drawing his hand away from Tabita's, Victor walked on over to the twins with his hands on his hips. "Seriously? Two heads and not one of you could see where you were going? What am I gonna do with you guys..." With a sigh, Victor helped the twins back up on to their feet and turned his attention to Orali who was now walking around on her hands. As a means of passing the time and also messing around, Victor also put his hands on the ground before standing upside down on them. However, he certainly didn't have the same amount of balance as Orali and dug his hands into the ground in order to compensate. "Woah, the rush to my head is quite exhilarating, I should do this more often." Just then, gravity had finally applied itself to Victor's clothing and dropped in front of his face, blinding his friends with his exquisite pectorals and himself with the shirt. Not being able to see, Victor almost immediately fell over, banging his head on the ground. "Owwww..." Victor looked around with a groan, trying to get up but realised that he had gotten his hands stuck. "Help..."

While everyone was setting up the various tents and equipment that would be later used for that night's performance, Victor was simply lying down under the shadow of a tree near the plaza. Even if he wouldn't incinerate in the sun, he thought it best to stay out of it for as long as possible and simply relax until his performance. Seeing as his was one of the acts in the main tent, it left Victor with very few things to do in order to prepare. The most he would have to do is dress up and make sure that his knives had been sharpened. Sitting up slowly, the snow haired Vampire stretched his limbs before getting to his feet. Staying in the shade, Victor observed what everyone was doing using his keen senses. Feeling a little bored with simply waiting until tonight's show, Victor walked around the camp as he dug his hands into his pockets. "Uhhh... I can never get over how hot it is during the day... And its not even Summer. I need a drink." Heading back to his own carriage, Victor watched as Happy gave a motivational speech of sorts to some of the other members. Victor smiled a little. As one of the oldest members of the Dark Woods Circus, Victor had managed to get to know a lot of people over the years and even though Happy was in charge, Victor still knew close to nothing about him. At least he could consider Happy a friend as long as he stayed on his good side. Making his way to his own carriage, Victor opened a portable fridge that had been set up next to it. "What shall I have~... I don't think its time for my dose yet... I'll just stick with a soda... Damn! I'm doing it again!" Victor signed, taking a can of soda out of the fridge before closing it. Due to the fact that he is an immortal, Victor spent quite a lot of time on his own and therefore found it comforting to talk to himself out loud. However, now that he's found himself a permanent home at the Circus, he began to realise that he still couldn't stop talking to himself. Opening the can, Victor took a few sips before staring at the can. "How does a Vampire drink and eat things other than blood and yet not feel any fuller... And then after a single drop of blood, I'm good for a few hours... If I can't even figure that out after 400 years, then why bother trying to figure it out now?" Victor stopped walking and saw that Tabita's tent had been put up. Shrugging nonchalantly, the immortal walked inside and took a seat while the clairvoyant's back was turned. "So~ I see you're all ready for tonights activities. You got some free time to try and tell me my future again?" Victor smiled a little taking a few more swigs from his soda can. He came to Tabita to ask about his future often, as he was sure everyone else did. Sitting on the chair almost side ways, with one of his legs swinging over the arm, Victor awaited a response from the Human, smiling casually every now and then.

Vs Sephiroth
There are ways to improve that. Start off small by blocking attacks from Dusks and Shadows and then go upwards in difficulty slowly.I don't know if defeating the Data Organization XIII and the Lingering Will is even possible if you haven't mastered dodging and blocking. Its not that hard, so I'm sure you'll get the hang of it eventually.
-
Vs Sephiroth
You know, instead of mega-potions, you only really need to stock up on Ethers. That's what I did for this fight, the Data Battles and Lingering Will. No offence though, you gotta learn how to block more and time your attacks correctly.
