but doesnt Soul Eater HAVE to be a keyblade? otherwise he wouldnt be able to fight heartless like he does in COM.

i dont really care what its about all that much (although i do think its how they ended up at Oblivion) but as soon as i started reading and thinking about that, i just kept chanting "oh god please no cards.." over and over. I hope Nomura has heard my prayers.
