  1. "What?!" Roxas cried in outrage. That wasn't even close to what happened! "He's right! We didn't do anything!" Travis claimed in agreement, hiding his smirk. Kairi looked from Travis to Owen and then to the guard. "That's not true!" she insisted. "Those two assaulted me and my friend!" She motioned to Sora and Roxas, her hands still on Sora's arm. "They were just defending us!" The second security guard looked between the six kids. Well, he couldn't really deny that kind of claim from a young woman. "Best option is to look at the tapes to find the truth," he said lowly to his coworker. It was the only way they would get to the bottom of this. Or they could just let the kids go.
  2. Kairi glanced at Namine when she ran. Right, the boys. They had to flee. She looked over her shoulder at another shout from an officer. Sora, she thought instantly. He was hers. Kairi sprinted toward him as he lifted his fist. She grabbed that arm by his bicep with both of her hands. "Sora, we have to go!" she told him urgently. She tried to ignore the infuriated expression that overcame his handsome features, hearing the rushed footsteps of security. "He's not worth it. Come on!" She tugged at his arm. They had to leave! Roxas had prepared to deal another blow, but the grasp around him made him stop. He lifted his arms slightly as Namine's words reached him. Stop?! "But he--!" "Hold it right there!" Roxas turned his head sharply at the order. Security?!
  3. Kairi silently agreed, finding it hard to focus on either fight. This was bad all around! We have to stop this! At this rate, they'll kill each other! Roxas's eyes widened briefly, ducking at the last second to avoid Owen's grasp. Was he seriously aiming for my neck?! While ducked down, Roxas threw a fist as hard as he could at Owen's stomach. If he was winded, he couldn't focus on anything else--like Namine. His only problem would be breathing. Travis grunted at the force behind the shove. He heard the marble crack. Was this kid superhuman?! Who had enough strength to do that?! He focused back on Sora, gritting his teeth. No way was this punk going to beat him down! Kairi heard a holler from different direction, and she glanced behind her to see a few security officers sprinting their way. "Sora!" she called on instinct, facing forward again. This wasn't good!
  4. Kairi nodded, though she couldn't tear her eyes away from the fights breaking out. "You?" Roxas kept his grip on Owen's collar, and at his words, his eyebrows furrowed. "Damn right," he replied lowly, pulling back his arm. Gritting his teeth, he threw a punch at Owen's face. Travis groaned when the back of his head hit the column. A bit dazed, he heard Sora's words and smirked faintly. "Watch me," he told him. His eyes danced from the blazing blue in front of him to the pretty periwinkle of the redhead. Once Travis was done with this idiot, she was his.
  5. This is interesting, for sure. Why is Sora there? How did he get there? Where are Mickey and Riku? Also, I've seen many people theorize that Sora was the placeholder here, for demonstration purposes. I never thought that maybe she could be an optional fight or anything, but I doubt that, given the fact that we are meant to save her. As for the keyblade, that's probably just promotion for BH6. Honestly, I'm hoping that Riku isn't the second playable character. This title is a great opportunity for a playable Kairi sequence, and if we get Riku instead, I'll be a bit disappointed. Hopefully it's possible we might have three playable characters (since BBS gave us that option, so it's not impossible), with the Destiny Trio being the three, because Nomura has been known to troll... Guess we'll find out in a few months.
  6. Roxas nodded faintly to Sora before he rushed forward, grabbing Owen by the shirt and throwing him up against the nearest wall. No way was he going to get away with touching Namine like that! No way in hell! Kairi gasped when Roxas charged forward, and knowing that Sora would do the same, she grabbed Namine's wrist and yanked her out of the way of both confrontations. Where was the theater's security?!
  7. Roxas ground his teeth together. That was way too close for his comfort, which meant Namine felt worse. He followed Sora's lead, moving toward the creeps that had the girls. They had to figure out a way to get them free without hurting them in the process. "Fan club or not, I won't let you hurt Namine." Travis pulled Kairi even closer, smelling her hair. "Smells like desire, don't you think?" he said, smirking. Kairi grunted, but Travis only used that to fuel his fire. He moved his hand lower from her shoulder, toward her chest. She would like this part, and right in front of her boyfriend too. Kairi squeezed her eyes shut at Travis's words, but when his hand started moving, they shot open. No! she thought in fear, but a fire in her kicked in. No way was she going to be touched like this! She glanced out of the corner of her eye at Namine. "More like disgust," she told the creep, then stomping her heel down on his foot. Travis's cry of pain rang in her ear, but his hold on her loosened from the unexpected attack. She elbowed him as she turned out of his grasp. "Get off me!"
  8. "Best friend?" Travis mocked in question, though he then laughed. "Like that's supposed to mean anything to me. Get lost." Kairi turned her head to look at Namine, seeing that both she and the blonde were in similar positions. Positions that, really, could be useful. She motioned to Namine subtly, moving her heel as if to show that they could stomp down on these guys' feet to get away. It could work! "Owen!" Roxas spat. "What's your problem?! Let Namine go!" If he was still upset about the karaoke thing, he really needed to let that go. That was weeks ago!
  9. Roxas's eyes widened before they sharpened with fury. Namine! She had been grabbed by someone too, and Roxas recognized him immediately. It was that Owen guy from the karaoke night! Kairi grunted when Travis turned her and then puller her to his chest, her back against his front as he kept his arms around her, holding her in a similar fashion to Owen holding Namine. Kairi's periwinkle eyes fell on Sora, and she felt a rush of different emotions. First, she felt relief that he was here. But then she felt humiliation for the same reason. Kairi struggled against Travis, but her strength was no match for his. He was just too strong. "Oh yeah? And who are you? Her boyfriend?" Travis sneered, keeping Kairi close. "What's it to you? Mind your own business!"
  10. Roxas rose from his seat as well and followed Sora out, ignoring a few people's stares as they moved out of the aisle. Kairi felt sick. Travis's laughter rang in her ears, as did Namine's retort. She pulled back from Travis, but his grip was strong. "Ah-ah," Travis said. "I have to keep you nice and pretty for Owen in round two." Kairi blinked, paling. Round two? "I said let me go!" she shrieked. She and Namine were getting out of here! Sora!
  11. Kairi glanced over her shoulder at Namine and she wanted instantly to be at her friend's side. Her hand shook as she fought the urge to summon her keyblade. Not here. "You leave her out of this," she hissed at "Travis". "If this is about that stupid poster, then fine! Take it out on me instead!" Namine had nothing to do with it! "Oh, so you're that kind of girl, huh?" Travis pulled Kairi to his chest, sniffing her hair. "Man, I am going to have some fun with you." "Let me go," Kairi snarled, turning her head away from Travis when he brushed his nose against her temple. This was disgusting! She couldn't bring up her knee since he practically pressed himself against her. And his grip was too tight for her to throw a punch! "Or what?" Roxas glanced over at the entrance to the theatre room, his knee bouncing impatiently. Where were the girls? "Sora," he whispered, "something doesn't feel right." What was going on?
  12. Kairi recognized Owen from the karaoke club they visited weeks ago. Didn't he get the hint? Namine wasn't interested, and frankly, Kairi wasn't too invested in his friend either. The creep looked her up and down and licked his lips. Ew. Kairi grabbed Namine's hand and started toward the theatre room, but the other guy stood in front of her. He placed his hands on her hips and slid in close. Kairi released Namine's hand immediately and tried to push the guy off. "Get away from me!" she hissed. "Aw, why? I just want some measurements taken. You can help me with that, right sweetheart?" Kairi blanched. She knew it. This was about that stupid poster! Kairi ground her teeth together and shoved him as hard she could, but he grabbed her wrist before he got too far. "Not so fast. Let's take this nice and slow..."
  13. Kairi heard more snickering but she pushed herself away from the sink. "We've faced worse," she declared softly, looking to her other. Namine faced Larxene and Marluxia, and Kairi faced nobodies and heartless and even Master Xehanort himself. They could handle this. "Let's just get back to Sora and Roxas." Besides, she doubted these guys would try and pull something in public, even if the lobby was empty due to multiple screenings.
  14. Roxas nodded. He didn't think the girls would be gone long, but...something just didn't sit right with him about this. Those guys got up too quickly for Roxas's comfort. Kairi crossed her arms and stared at the floor. What could she say? Actually, she couldn't say anything, because just then she heard low voices outside the restroom. Was that...them? "Dude, I get the redhead. I need my 'measurements taken', ehhh?" one guy chuckled. He was so going to brag about this later.
  15. Roxas shook his head slightly, eyes straining to see what was going on since the scene playing was in a darker area. "I think...someone recognized Kairi," he said then, whispering as to not disturb the other viewers. Still, somebody shushed him. Roxas blinked and looked in that direction, but he didn't comment. Kairi escaped with Namine into the restroom, then leaning against the sink. She breathed a sigh. "I'm sorry," she told her friend. "I just...I had to get out of there." She couldn't be in the same room as those guys, and she couldn't let Sora or Roxas see her like this. She had to be stronger than this. She fought heartless and nobodies! She should have been able to handle a few stupid college guys!
  16. Kairi stiffened at the remark. Yep, she needed to leave right now. "It's nothing, I'm fine," she told Sora quickly, then stepping past him and leaving the aisle. She waited for Namine before escaping out of the room. Of course the weighted gazes of those boys were on them the entire time. Roxas watched the girls with concerned eyes, especially after that last comment. His gaze hardened after that. Those creeps, he thought with distaste, gripping the arms of his seat tightly. Roxas looked to Sora. Did they get up and follow them? Or did they give the girls a minute? Was he making a big deal out of nothing? The guy chuckled lowly. "Oh, hey, there they go!" he hissed in excitement. "C'mon, c'mon!" He nudged his friend to get up. They had to follow them out!
  17. Kairi had looked over when Namine leaned forward, curious as to what she was doing. But then she heard the snickering behind her. "Yup. One of them is that girl posted all over campus!" Kairi closed her eyes. I knew this would happen... She placed her hand on Namine's arm. "Namine, will you come to the restroom with me?" she asked in a whisper. She needed to get some air before this got more uncomfortable. Roxas looked past Namine to Kairi at the whisper, one his trained senses could make out. Which meant he also heard those guys sitting a few rows back. You've got to be kidding.
  18. Kairi turned her phone on silent and shook her head. "Never mind," she whispered, sinking down into her seat a little to get more comfortable. She didn't even know the plot of this movie, but she was about to find out. Roxas's smile only grew at the words. He wouldn't deny that. "Maybe," he whispered, his eyes dancing over Namine's in the dim lighting from the screen. His heart skipped at the expression she wore, but he wouldn't read too much into it right now. Instead, he gave her some breathing room and relaxed in his seat to enjoy the movie.
  19. "Definitely gonna have to work that off," Kairi muttered, sure Sora could hear her. She wasn't one to put off exercise just because her keyblade training was over. She used the campus's gym, since it was free. This extra butter and salt would definitely come back to haunt her. Roxas moved the bag closer to Namine when she reached for it. As she grabbed one, he looked up at her, leaning a little closer since the previews were going and others sat around them. "You're lucky I like you," he told her softly, smiling crookedly. "I don't let just anyone have my sea-salt snacks." Of course, he more than liked her. Sora called him out on it once, but he countered by mentioning Kairi. That shut Sora up real fast.
  20. Kairi rolled her eyes at Sora and grabbed another handful. Fine, she was going to take advantage of this then. Her eyes darted to Sora's as she chewed, the girl smiling. This...kind of felt like a date. But it couldn't be! Sora was her best friend! He wouldn't want to take her on a date....right? Roxas sank into his seat a little and turned his head against it to look at Namine. "So good," he practically moaned, then smirking at the pretty girl. He caught her tone, so he would play along.
  21. Kairi laughed softly. "You're going to share?" she teased, then taking a few kernels and popping them into her mouth. Sora didn't kid around much when it came to his food, but the bucket was pretty big... Roxas propped his ankle up on his knee, already snacking on his sea-salt bites. He sighed at the salty-but-sweet taste. It would never get old.
  22. “Deal,” Roxas agreed with a nod. He paid for the snacks and joined the other couple—was that the correct term? Was this a...date? Did Namine think it was a date? Kairi entered the screening room and took her seat. She sat between Sora and Namine, with Roxas taking the end next to her roommate. She wasn’t sure if that was planned or not, but she didn’t object.
  23. Roxas placed his hand on Namine's back lightly. "Trust me, it's fine," he insisted. Besides, he could go play some music around Radiant Garden and make more munny from tips. "I want to." Kairi tossed the napkin she used to wipe her hands into the nearest bin, then looking to her best friend. She saw where he gazed and she put a hand on his arm. "I'm fine," she lied, smiling gently at him. She could handle heartless and nobodies; she could deal with guys staring at her. "Lid please?"
  24. Roxas looked at Namine when she nudged him, just in time to see her put her finger to her bottom lip. He stared. Did she realize what that kind of gesture did to him? He wanted nothing more than to...kiss her. He was sure her lip gloss was fruity too... "Um," he said, snapping out of it and raking his fingers through his hair. "Go ahead and get both. We can split whatever you can't finish." Kairi sipped the rim of her cup, smiling sheepishly as she then wiped at the corner of her mouth. "I'm a klutz," she joked. "But, uh...no, it's okay. Can you grab me a lid?" She would try to forget the way those guys looked at her in the meantime. She actually didn't want to leave Sora's side in fear of someone following her and offering to have their "measurements" taken.
  25. "Hmm," Roxas hummed, eyebrows furrowing as he went over the choices. He then blinked. "Ooh! Sea-salt bites!" He had enough cash for that. "What about you? My treat." He and Sora had already agreed that they were treating the girls tonight, just because they could. And the girls hadn't had the best of luck lately with college. Hopefully this could change that. Kairi filled up her drink at the soda fountain, glancing over her shoulder when she heard Roxas's excited declaration at the candy. She giggled slightly, but that smile fell away when she saw a few guys staring at her. Around her age, most likely attending the university. Yep, they recognized her. Kairi's cup overflowed, trickling over her fingers, and she snapped to attention. "Oh!" she gasped, stopping immediately. Whoops.
