"Yeah." Lucas said, his pistol turning back into the sheath and sheathing his katana. "If you guys would like, I've been meaning to try something with my semblance. If you can quickly climb up, I'm sure I can Teleport us to the edge of the cliff. I've just never tried Teleporting onto something vertical, just horizontal."

Lucas did a backflip off of the Nevermore's back, and began spinning in midair. With his katana being held out, he was essentially a bladed top as he came down on the Nevermore's neck. With the combined attack from the four of them, they were able to behead the giant Grimm, with Lucas standing crouched behind Onyx and Raevus. He gave a sigh of relief and said "We did it."

"Go, I'll distract it for you!" Lucas said, firing two ice rounds at it's feet, freezing it to the bridge, before teleporting to it's back, separating the rifle into the pistol and katana. He fired a couple ice rounds at it's tail, freezing it to the bridge as well. And gave it a few slashes with the katana as it struggled to shake him off.

Lucas lead the way, ending up at a bridge that lead right to the cliff. Just then they heard a screech behind them as the Nevermore flew into the air, shattering the ice around it's wing. It flew past them onto the other end of the bridge, blocking their way. "Damn, looks like we have no choice but to fight. This is gonna be tough guys." he said, pulling out his sniper rifle. "But I think we can do this if we work together."

"Yeah, back to the cliff!" he said, running away from the ruined ruins and the Nevermore, which was slowly getting up.

"All we need is the artifacts, we don't have to fight it." Lucas said, running to the artifacts. "Chess pieces?" he asked, grabbing a white Rook and heading to the others. "If you guys already have yours, then let's go."

"Hang on!" Lucas said, aiming down the sights of his rifle. He focused on a spot right in front of the ruins, and next thing they new, they were standing in that spot, the momentum causing them to fall over from the sudden stop.

"I wouldn't forget my first friend, he's included in everyone!" he said, attaching his Katana to the pistol to make the sniper rifle. "Once everyone has grabbed on, I'm Teleporting us to safety!"

Lucas did the same, his sheath turning into a pistol and, having still been loaded with Ice Rounds from his fight with the Ursa, he shot at the other wing as well. "Everyone, grab onto me and I can get us to safety while this thing crashes!" he shouted over the roar of the wind rushing around them.

(They are now on one of the wings of the Nevermore) "Careful, hold on tight!" he said, stabbing his katana into the wing. The Nevermore screeched in pain and tried to shake them off, heading in the direction of the ruins.

"Yeah, that's Onyx, he was the first person I met coming to Beacon." he said, hearing the screech behind them. He turned around just in time to stop the Nevermore just above them. "Oh crap!" he said, turning his katana and sheath into the sniper rifle and looking at the giant bird Grimm as it swung it's wings and sent feathers at them. He quickly grabbed Melody and focused on it's wing. In an instant, they were now hanging off of said wing, the attack completely missing them.

"Right!" he said, heading north through the forest. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to them, her scream when she fell had awoken a nearby sleeping Nevermore. The giant bird Grimm shook and took to the skies, screeching.

Well, they said 0.2 was essentially the length of one world, and that was about 4 hours long, so if we get at least 10 worlds, that would be about 40 hours, and that's not including the gummi ship segments or deaths and restarts. They could include more worlds too, which would make it longer, so I wanna say probably 50 hours?

"Not a problem." he said. "Now we just need to find those ruins and an artifact." When she mentioned someone being worried he asked "Who would that be?" as he looked around, making sure they didn't attract the attention of any Grimm.

Oh no, it's fine. I normally have shorter posts just so I can have an actual conversation with the player I'm interacting with, rather than listing everything at once and overwhelming the other person with alot to react to. But if you prefer longer posts that's fine with me. I don't have a min/max post length requirement, just make sure whoever you're interacting with can actually interact with it, and not have a whole conversation or fight in one post that the other person has to break down and respond to each thing in your post individually.

"Glad to hear you're ok." he said, pulling his katana out and helping her down. "My name's Lucas, and I guess this means we're partners. Oh! And I believe these are yours." He pulled out her guns and handed them to her.

Lucas saw the guns hit the ground after the Ursa fell and looked up to see Melody fly by. "That's not good!" he said to himself, drawing his katana and throwing it like a javellin. It just managed to hook onto her outfit, and pin her to a nearby tree, much better than the messy landing she would have had. He jogged after her to help her down and get his katana back, picking her guns up along the way. "You alright?" he asked once he reached her. (This was ok with Yessie, we discussed it beforehand)

Melody was the last to get launched into the air. Meanwhile, Lucas had pulled out his sniper rifle and looked through the scope, trying to find a clearing in the forest. He spotted a spot, as well as an Ursa. Lucas loaded his rifle with ice rounds and fired two at the Ursa's legs, freezing them to the ground. He then aimed at the ground behind the Ursa and focused on it, appearing in that spot in an instant, spinning around and turning his rifle back into the katana and sheath. He gave the Ursa several slashes on it's back, before slicing it's head off, causing it to dissolve into nothing, as he sheathed his katana. He exhaled and looked around, seeing if there was anyone else around. The first person he would see would be his partner for the next four years.

Raevus was launched next as Ozpin said "Yes, you will be falling, as you can see, your fellow students are being launched into the forest, you must find a way to safely land. Good luck." With that, Lucas was the next to be launched.

Aang jumped in at that moment, sending a gust of wind to blow Zale away, flipping behind him to whack him with his staff as he would get blown in his direction.

Ozpin looked at Onyx as the sound of a catapulault went off and one of the students was launched through the air. "You will be falling." Ozpin said, as another student was launched. "And you will need to devise your own landing strategy." With that, another student was launched. "That's what I was afraid of." Lucas muttered to himself

Once they were all gathered on Beacon Cliff, they were instructed to stand on what appeared to be stone plates. Ozpin and Glynda stood before them and Ozpin began to speak. "For years you have trained to become warriors. And today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." Glynda then spoke up and said "Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of teams. Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates... Today." "I thought so..." Lucas muttered to himself, as Ozpin continued. "These teammates will be with your for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you work well. That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next 4 years." Lucas's ears perked up at that. "Wait, after landing?" Ozpin continued with "After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path, or you will die. You will be monitored and graded for the duration of your initiation. But our instructors will not intervene." Lucas nodded at this, thinking It makes perfect sense. They want us to test ourselves, so if we die here it just shoes we weren't ready to be Huntsman and Huntresses, so of course they wouldn't help. Continuing to look them over, Ozpin said "You will find an abandoned temple at the end of this path containing several relics. Each pair must choose 1, and return to the top of the cliff. We will regard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?"

Aang saw the fighting going on, having not been able to get very far when the alarms sounded. He flew back into his body and got up quickly. "Darya!" he said. "Noah and Dalian are in trouble! Benders of the Red Lotus are attacking, we have to help!" With that, he hopped over the ice barrier she made for him and jumped off the tower, spinning his staff like a propeller to ease his fall before he landed, and running into the base.

"Welp, time to go." Lucas said to himself, crabbing a couple different dust ammo clips, putting them into a pouch on his lower back. He followed Onyx and several other first years to the cliff.
