  1. "And you followed me." Mary Jane groaned. 'Second time today.' she thought to herself. She suddenly realized that if this girl had seen her taking to that boy, then... 'Oh no... She knows...' She quickly tried to cover for herself. "So, what of it? Was my conversation that interesting that you had to track me down?"
  2. Mary Jane walked until she got to the city park. When she wasn't off doing a job to earn money, she was usually at the park. It was peaceful, and, frankly, she didn't have anywhere else to go. She sat down on one of the benches and stared at a dandelion by her foot, very distant from reality. She often was like this, just thinking about nothing, trying not to play her old memories in her mind. Everything from her childhood... Her father always coming home drunk and shouting profanity at her. Her multiple foster homes, where no one loved her. Watching her mother...-- Mary Jane shook her head to clear the thought and, in her mind, shouted, 'No! Stop it!' 'Why is all of this happening...?' she thought. 'It's not like I didn't have enough problems before! Now I'm a freak! Now no one could possibly love me! The only person who ever loved me killed herself!' Mary Jane blinked away the tears in her eyes and took several deep breaths. She pulled her jacket tighter around her. She heard something behind her. Footsteps, which weren't that uncommon in the park, but they kept getting closer. Mary Jane turned around and saw a girl about her age.
  3. "She's right." Mary Jane agreed. "I was careless and shouldn't have let my emotions take over. I don't usually use my powers in public unless nessicary. What I did was wrong." Mary Jane had always had a habit of apologizing for everything, even if she wasn't at fault. "I'm sorry. I could've easily just exposed us, or put that man in an insane asylum, or killed him." Her head tilted down and she put her hands in the pockets of her grey jacket. "Sorry." she said right before starting to walk away.
  4. Good night~! Going to go perfom tomorrow! yay~ Monolouges are fun
  5. "Come on, babe." a man, about in his mid-twenties, said to Mary Jane, following her. "Leave me alone, creep." she replied calmly and quietly. She had gotten used to boys acting this way around her. And asking her for something they wanted, but she wasn't that poor. "A hot chick like you should have a guy." he continued as he got closer and closer to her. He was obvoiusly drunk. Mary Jane was starting to get annoyed. "I said leave me alone. What part of that don't you understand?" "I guess I was just distracted by..." He shifted his eyes down slightly. "You're a pig." Mary Jane said, smaking him across the face. "Ah, come on babe, I'm just messin' with ya." he said, getting a little too close. At this point, Mary Jane couldn't stand this guy. She turned to him and lifted her hand, slowly closing her fingers. She didn't like to use her powers in public, but she also didn't want whatever was going on in this guy's mind to happen either. Her fingers had almost made it into a fist, then the man was gasping for air. She was using her telekinesis to basically strangle him. Not to the point of dying though. Mary Jane clenched her fist tighter and the man's face now had a purple tint to it. She released her hand and the man was able to breathe again. As he was gasping for air, Mary Jane leaned closer to him. "Stay away from me." she said. The man had a look in his eyes like he had just seen a monster, then ran away.
  6. Very much so. Thank God for the point when he realizes that he's a spoiled douchebag.
  7. Watching Tales of the Abyss. Luke seems to be even more annoying the second time through.
  8. OH! I've seen that pic before! I loved it when I first saw it. Myy face was probably something like "OoO" lol
  9. Name: Mary Jane Tatlin Age: 17 Power: Telekinesis Appearance: Bio: After her mom's suicide when she was 10, Mary Jane lived with her alchoholic father until DCFS had deemed him unable to take care of her. She had lived with multiple different foster families, but was eventually given up by every one of them because of some problems she had, caused by her pschological trauma from her childhood. When she was 15 she decided to live on her own, because anyone else would just give up on her anyway. She found various ways to make money to live off of, but it was never much. But she lived like that for 2 more years, until she was 17, and the meteor shower happened. After watching some of the meteors in the sky, she had started to feel odd, but just payed no attention to it. The night after, she was walking through town, when a few thugs chased her into an alley and had her cornered. She was scared and didn't know what to do. She pushed one of the men away, which sent him flying into the nearby wall. After that, they all ran from her, shouting "freak!". She gradually learned how to control her telekinesis and has become very skilled at it and has perfect control of it, unless her emotions get the better of her. Gender: Female Theme song:
  10. I just finished it. IT WAS AMAZING! It was just...omg...
  11. HE IS BEAUTIFUL! I love Sync ;P (Not nessicarily his personality. Especially when he was talking to Anise in Ion's voice. Wanted. To. Stab.) Only thing I have to say is, he could use a bit more hair. (But I realized just how hard his hair is to draw whenever I tried. I don't blame you for making it short.)
  12. I finally beat Tales of the Abyss. ... O_O The ending.
  13. By the time Tony left Lucia, she felt sick. She couldn't stand herself. Or anyone, or anything. Her emotions were everyhere; one of the reasons she had yelled at Tony. The fact that Tony cared for Lilith...it just made her think that he was a good person. But she didn't want to think of him as a good person. She couldn't. It made her even more sick that she seemed to be attracted to him. It wasn't right. I'm just ruining everything aren't I, she thought to herself. I don't even know what to do with myself. Lucia dropped to her knees and leaned her head against the wall. With the weight of all that was happening, she didn't know what to do. Go after Lilith? Go after Tony? What good would that do? She knew crying wouldn't help anything, but she couldn't help it. She was confused and she didn't have any control over her emotions at that point. She was just happy that she was alone, so no one could see her crying. She usually kept such a tight lid on any emotions that would show weakness, that Lilith had only seen her cry once since they became vampires. And she was especially happy Tony wasn't there. She had no idea what amount of teasing would be done. Lucia just wiped her eyes and sat there, alone.
  14. "L-Lilith!" Lucia called after her sister. When Lilith didn't turn around, Lucia turned on Tony. "Just who did you think you were back there in the woods, anyway!?" Lucia shouted, changing the subject. "Did you think what you did was heroic?! Do you even realize how worried Lilith was!?" She continued without giving him a chance to speak. "Do you think that Lilith couldn't handle herself out there!? Do you think that she's weak!? Is that it?! What were you trying to accomplish by making me lock her up here!? Answer me!" She got her hand prepared to slap him again, just in case she didn't like his answer.
  15. "Dang it! They're gone!" Lucia grumbled as she arrived at the area where the vampire hunter, the vampire girl, and Tony had been fighting. She smelled blood in the air. "I just missed them!" She sniffed the air again. It was definately Tony's blood that was in the air. She could tell by the scent. But where did he go...? Lucia had an idea of where he went. When she returned home, she found that her suspicions were correct. There he was, at their house, with blood on his face. Lucia looked at Lilith, being held by Tony. How worried she had been... Lucia approached Tony. "You idiot!" she shouted, and slapped him across the face, right by his cut. "Do you know how worried you made Lilith!? Honestly, I don't think I've ever met someone who was more-- Grrr! Idiot!"
  16. Oh crap, now I'm worried... If they sell out here, I'll be very PO'd.
  17. Lucia leaned against the door as well, sliding down and leaning her head back. "I can't let you out!" she shouted. 'Because Tony and I want you safe...'-- she was surprised at herself for not thinking the word "mutt" instead of his name. 'What is wrong with me!? You can't just go from wanting to kill someone to l--!! I can't even finish that sentence...' The banging on the door finally ceased and all that was audible was Lilith's crying. Lucia felt awful for her sister feeling that way, but it was too dangerous for her to be around a hunter. 'And Tony... What is he doing? Is he winning? Losing?' Lucia got worried. She stood and stepped away from the door, hoping it's integrety hadn't been entirely compromised. Or at least that Lilith wouldn't hit it anymore. When she saw that it was secure, she quietly made her way out of the house, then ran in a dead sprint back to Tony. There was no telling how much trouble he was in. She tried to justify her worry by thinking 'No one kills him but me!' She knew it was a lie though.
  18. Lilith tumbled to the ground beside Lucia. Lucia looked over at Tony and made eye contact for about 1 second. In that second, she saw something in him. How much he was a genuinely kind person. It shocked her that, even if it was just in her mind, she almost felt-- "Come on!" Lucia said to Lilith, literally picking her up off the ground. Lucia ran towards the house, still thinking about...
  19. I swear I didn't steal it from you! I didn't even know there was another Portal thread but now that I think about it, there have probably been a few...
  20. Not really a story. Just kind of a go-in-there-and-have-fun thing.
  21. This witchcraft is Japanese. Look it up. (Well, it's the romanization anyway.)
  22. It was just the easiest thing to find. Shut up. It's just a habit.
