Why do game developers leave removed content in games?
What makes you think that they "spotted" the glitch? Glitches (especially glitches that show up through normal gameplay such as that one) are not purposely left in the game. That would be stupid and do nothing more than making people not want to play the game and be less likely to buy later games in the series or even any game made by that company anymore.Games are tested before being sold. If they miss a glitch then there's no way for them to fix it. If they know about the glitch and refuse to correct it or if they do not test the game at all then that just means that they do a bad job making games and you should probably not buy their games anymore...

Why do game developers leave removed content in games?
Actually, that Cubone–Kangaskhan thing is just a rumour -- nothing more than a fan-made theory. The MissingNo. glitch is completely unrelated and it is pure coincedence that the glitch Pokémon known as 'M can be obtained through the MissingNo. glitch. As for 'M evolving into Kangaskhan... it's possible that it was caused by moving data from Marowak to 'M, but that's highly unlikely. Anyway, I have to disagree with just about everything that most people here have said. From person experience programming stuff, it is not that hard to remove something. You just have to be sure that removing it does not impact anything else (so don't remove anything after testing) and make sure that the stuff being removed will never end up used (causing you to spend time uncommenting the code or literally re-writing it if you deleted it rather than commenting it out). So why do they not remove it? That's because that removing it is unnecessary work. If you have a part of a game that you want to remove then it takes a lot less time and effort to remove access to it (i.e. removing the door to the area) rather than removing it (i.e. removing the area). That, along with the fact that removing stuff is more risky since it can affect other things at times... makes it favourable to remove the access to the old stuff rather than actually removing it (especially if there is enough room on the disc and no need to remove the data to conserve space). And this is especially true if there's a deadline... if it takes an extra month to remove all the unused content then that's one less month of sales, one more month to make fans wait, and one more month that they could be spending producing the next game. Also some "dummied out" stuff is even intentionally left in as Easter Eggs.

did anyone else get the feeling that axel absolutely hated xion
He definitely did not hate her. If he did then he would not have been upset when she was willingly going back to Sora to be destroyed. I highly doubt that he was simply following orders to bring her back (this is because of the dialogue in Izzo's post). Also the conversation between Axel and Saïx indicates that he really was friends with Xion and not ignoring her or treating her poorly (which he would have been doing if he had hated her).

Why wasn't Pride Lands and Jungle Book in this game?
That would only be true if the fact that the Pridelands was destroyed was a major part of the plot. Which it wasn't. That is a small detail that could have been changed to some other world being destroyed (Pridelands wasn't the only one...) or that detail could have simply been removed altogether. That detail was probably only created to explain why certain worlds were not visitable. No idea why the Pridelands was left out. It could have been an animation issue as people have suggested... it might have been a space issue (no idea how much of the disc's space was still available after the entire game was made)... it certainly wasn't because "making Sora, Donald, and Goofy walk and 4 legs made the file huge" (which obviously makes no sense). It could have also been due to the Pridelands being irrelevant due to not having a Princess of Heart (or Princess at all for that matter). However, this is doubtful considering that they included Halloween Town, Olympus Colliseum, and the plot-related worlds Traverse Town and Deep Jungle... none of which have a corresponding Princess (and Atlantica which has a Princess but no Princess of Heart... and the 100 Acre Wood although that's more of a sidequest). As for the Jungle Book not appearing... my guess is that it was a combination of being too similar to Deep Jungle and the fact that there was no "villain" in it other than that tiger and snake which were quite different from the other Disney villains (I really couldn't see them summoning Heartless or seeking power or anything...)

What is your favourite social networking website?
deviantART is my favourite... but not for "social networking". For social networking I use Facebook. I used to use MySpace but all my friends left. Never used Twitter... it has always looked to me like a pointless Facebook rip-off with less features. Never used Google+... I really don't like Google. (and I did try out Google Buzz (before Google+ existed) and that was horrible). And as for Flickr... never knew that that was even a social networking site...

New Job
I had a job at McDonald's. And it was horrible. Quit after 2 months. First day was horrible because of that extremely long training video... the second day was probably pretty good. But the job got boring real fast (especially since it's... you know... like grunt work, stuff that they could just have a robot do...) That, and the fact that the managers (who were not too intellignet themselves) were constantly barking orders... and the restaurant itself was not all that sanitary (and I really don't want to be selling dirty food). Those three things gave me no choice but to quit.

People Are Stupid (Food Fight At My School)
Idiots. Who plans something like that on a site like Facebook where anyone can see it and know exactly who is in on it? I'm surprised that the food fight happened at all... if there were posts made weeks in advance then surely someone saw it and could have told a teacher / the administration? At my school then some of the teachers themselves even had Facebook accounts...Second, why even plan a food fight to begin with? There are much cooler pranks that these students could have come up with. Not sure how it is where you come from, but where I come from there is no way that a teacher could end up fired for something like that. Unless the teacher knew about it ahead of time and did nothing or helped the students or something. It's not the teacher's job to make sure students don't hurt each other. And if a teacher really ended up fired for that then that teacher would have grounds to sue the school or have the union do something about it...

Riku's Voice
I think that it was symbolic -- Sora knew it was Riku so Sora heard the voice as Riku's rather than Ansem's. Before Sora knew it was Riku then he still talked in the Ansem voice. And they probably just showed the audio from Sora's point of view to keep it simple... much like how in 358 Days / 2 then Xion was always shown from Roxas's point of view except in the few scenes where they showed her as she appeared to other people. In other words, I don't think Riku is talking in seperate voices at all... I think he always talks in the Ansem voice but Sora just heard him as Riku. Edit - oh, that's what JTD95 said. Didn't read the thread before then but I definitely agree.

Awkward Moment
This is why I'm completely opposed to blind-dating online (and even blind dating in general). Besides that awkward situation... there's so many other (worse) things that could happen.

Mathematical abnormality... what's up with this?
Yeah that makes sense, however, 1-.9̅ is still a non-zero number (even though it would be impossible to calculate). If you ever could reach the end of .9̅ (which you can't since it never ends) then theoretically 1-.9̅ should end in a 1. Meaning it is not 0 but simply an infinitely small non-zero number. Meaning that 1/(1-.9̅) should be an unsolvable infinitely large number but still distinguished from 1/0... and (1-.9̅)/(1-.9̅) should be 1 rather than undefined... and .9̅-1 should be negative (since it is less than 0, even though it is unmeasurably less than 0). In all practicality, the difference between 1 and .9̅ is so small that it's as if it doesn't even exist, but mathematically there should still be a difference.

Maleficent's group and keyholes
I think the "sealing" of the keyholes would have been a lot cooler if instead of Sora pointing the Keyblade at the keyhole and shooting a beam of light out of it to seal the keyhole, he were to literally shove the Keyblade inside the keyhole and turn it as if locking a door.

I doubt you all agree but Oh Well...
True, actually, there were 2 "legitimate" reasons that came to mind. Neither are reason to ban gay marriage outright, but:- the states's rights issue - since marriage is not something that the federal government has any power over whatsoever, making a federal law recognizing gay marriage would be a violation of the tenth amendment (assuming that not allowing gay marriage does not violate anything else in the Constitution... which I believe it would not, if civil unions truly were equal to marriage). This is reason enough to oppose gay marriage as something that is allowed nationally rather than simply legalizing it in all 50 states - the idea that 2 gays's love for each other is true and equal to the marriage between a man and woman can also be applied to polygamy. Besides personal belief, there is no reason that a man love two women and that love to be any less true or legitimate than the love between a man and one other person. Separate issue, I know, but if polygamy can be opposed on the basis of a personal belief then there is really no reason that gay marriage can be opposed due to a different belief. That's an inconsistency in the stance of people who support gay marriage who also oppose polygamy, saying that personal beliefs should have no impact on gay marriage while also opposing polygamy due to their own personal beliefs. Considering that allowing gay marriage is not a great injustice to anyone (as in, it's not taking away the rights of anyone, even straights or religious people) then I see no reason for anyone to need it to be stopped. Like you said, if you don't like it or don't believe in it then don't participate in it... it affects no one but the two people involved so there's no reason to not allow it.

I doubt you all agree but Oh Well...
If all rights granted by a civil union were exactly the same as the rights given by marriage and the only difference was the word being used then it is not at all an issue of "telling someone they don't deserve the same rights as everyone else" or of controlling anyone's life. (And that's assuming that civil unions and marriages are equal, which I do not think they currently are but that's a whole separate issue...)Yes, there are people who also oppose civil unions... but they are the minority and I'm not talking about those people. One argument against gay marriage that I'm hearing is that it alters the definition of the word. I think that's a stupid reason for opposing it, but it is a reason nonetheless. By nature, languages can and will change over the course of time, not to mention that if you look up "marriage" in any new dictionary then "gay marriage" is already one of the definitions desipte the fact that gay marriage is not currently legal everywhere. And even though historically (even with the ancient Greeks who did not oppose homosexuality) marriage has always been between a man and a woman... there is little reason why such a trivial word cannot be changed. Another argument I'm hearing is that allowing gay marriage will ruin the "sanctity" of marriage. However, I don't agree with that either... "marriage" itself is not sacred. "Matrimony" is sacred... as in, the rite performed through the religious institution is sacred. Since there is no current (common) push to force churches themselves to allow gay marriage, and it is all solely about the government's recognition of gay marriage then I don't see how the sacredness of it will be at all affected. However, there are legitimate reasons to oppose gay marriage which do not involve bigotry.

Mathematical abnormality... what's up with this?
A while back I saw someone claiming that .99̅ is equal to 1, due to this: 0/9 = .00 1/9 = .11̅ 2/9 = .22̅ 3/9 = .33̅ 4/9 = .44̅ 5/9 = .55̅ 6/9 = .66̅ 7/9 = .77̅ 8/9 = .88̅ Supposedly any positive integer less than 10, when divided by 9, is written as a decimal point followed by that integer, repeating forever. So it makes sense that 9/9 should be .99̅ (which does approach 1 but is still not equal to 1), except that's obviously not the case since it is 1 (due to mathematical law... any real non-zero number divided by itself is 1). And that is the basis that someone was using to claim that those two values are equal. However, I am certain that .99̅ is not equal to 1. But I can't really figure out what's going on in this case... The other case would be something like 1/3 + 2/3, which is 3/3, which is 1... of which the problem could be written as .33̅ + .66̅... however, if you do write the answer as .99̅ instead of 1 then that's more of a rounding error, since you cannot add an infinitely long string of numbers with complete accuracy. In other words, it'd clearly be incorrect. You can't say the same about the 9/9 thing though... since there is no rounding or maths at all even involved in that case...

Random Quizzing Time!¡!¡!¡
Technically you should score it out of 9 (with a maximum score of 10/9)... because question #7 was a joke (i.e. you said you were kidding about the graph and it's not even solvable without a graph or an x value) Hmmm... let's see, I think I got numbers 3, 4, (7), and 9 wrong. No idea what the fifth incorrect one of mine is (unless one of my correct answers is not what you were looking for). Number 4 is 12,345,678,987,654,321... I'm sure of it.

I doubt you all agree but Oh Well...
Disagree. For one thing, people in opposition to gay marriage are not attempting to control anyone's life. That's why typically they are in support of civil unions (which would allow a gay couple to live together for the rest of their lives with similar benefits to being married). One of the main issues is that people don't want to alter the definition of the word.

Capital of Cali
I vote no. Captials are not always based on "business, population, or awesomeness." My home state is Delaware. Our capital is Dover. But our most populated city and city with the most business is Wilmington. Then there's New York, capital: Albany. But New York City is much more populated and has more business (and is probably considered "more awesome"). And there's Pennsylvannia, capital: Harrisburg. But Philadelphia has more historical significance and is generally more well-known.

Xemnas (just in case *SPOILERS* if u havent played past KH2)
Except he never showed any signs of ever actually doing anything himself. It's not that he was "lazy"... but more like, if he could get other people to do his work for him then he didn't bother doing it himself (the example from 358 Days / 2 was that when Beast's Castle was under attack then the Beast was ready to defend it rather than forcing his servants to do it alone, but Roxas commented that if Xemnas had been in the same position then he would not have personally defended it but would have instead made the other Organisation members do the work for him).So Xemnas just ordered Roxas destroy the Heartless, and Roxas was cooperative most of the time. Then he replicated Roxas to get it done even faster, but Xion was a failure and not really able to speed things up. Even after he lost control of Roxas and Xion, he still had Sora who was able to do the work for him (and Mickey and RIku no-doubt contributed as well). I think the only way that he would have personally went around releasing Hearts would have been if no other Keyblade user had continued. But as long as the Keyblade users continued to destroy the Heartless the he really had no reason to get involved (other than maybe to speed things up a little, but that didn't seem to be his priority).

Xemnas (just in case *SPOILERS* if u havent played past KH2)
Even if he could use a Keyblade, I doubt he'd be out killing Heartless and releasing Hearts in order to complete Kingdom Hearts any more quickly. This was mentioned in Beast's Castle in 358 Days / 2... Xemnas treats the rest of the Organisation as his servants and makes them carry out orders while he does not actually help them or share the workload as well. The only fighting that we've ever seen from him was the final battle of KH2... and (assuming he could have used a Keyblade) perhaps he chose to use the Aethereal Blades instead... especially since at that point using a Keyblade would have been unnecessary (he wasn't attempting to release any hearts...)

Was it a decent game.
It was more than decent, story-wise. One of my favourites. However, the fact that you complete a mission, then RTC, then repeat that over and over again was not as enjoyable as being able to freely go from world to world like in the other games. Still, it makes sense that you can only go to the world that your mission takes place at since you are in the Organisation and should only go where instructed to. However, the whole way the game was done felt a little forced and awkward. There were things put in there to block you from going into unnecessary areas... but there was no reason for them to have done that (going into the unnecessary areas would simply have been a waste of time for the player and he probably wouldn't have wanted to go there anyway...) And then the whole "you can only RTC once you complete the mission" doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The darkness portal thing is not some "machine" programmed to only appear when someone completes a mission... this is even contradicted by showing other Organisation members able to freely create portals whenever they felt like it / needed to.

Xemnas (just in case *SPOILERS* if u havent played past KH2)
I never played Birth by Sleep so I could be completely off... but wasn't Xemnas Xehanort's Nobody (just plain Xehanort, not Master Xehanort... as in, two separate people)? As far as I know Xehanort did not use a Keyblade. At least there was no indication of it in any game that I've played (which is all of them except Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance)

Have you ever been to a video game conference?
I went to the Pokémon 2000 Stadium Tour. Which had demos of Pokémon Stadium, distributions of Mew to the GameBoy games, and a GameBoy tournament. Not sure if that counts or not... since it was just Pokémon games and not video games in general.

Zombies are officially real
Logic and debates are not a popularity contest... even if no one else agreed with a point then the point is still valid if it's uses sound logic. And that's another fallacy... the appeal to popularity / ad populum. LOOK IT UP!You did not explain myself at all. Exampl, I say "the police could use a taser", you say "it would not work", I explain why it would work, you say again "it would not work". Repeating yourself does not make you right. And I never said that a drunk rape victim's actions are the same as a drunken criminal's actions. Your straw man arguments have no relevance.
