Not-with-a-whimper

Tyler brushed a little hair out of Tudi's face, glad to know that she was at least alright enough to talk. He was heartbroken that she was hurt that bad, though. When they arrived at the hospital he exited the vehicle and carried Tudi toward the emergency room. He shouted back "I'm gonna take her to the ER, but we'll meet up with you guys later, ya?" Troy rushed over to the limo to attempt to help anyone who needed it. That was the right thing to do, right? Troy knew that it was, but was frustrated that he didn't "feel" that it was right.

(OOC: Oops. My bad. I was a bit too focused on Troy I suppose.) "Tudi! I'm so glad you're okay, though I'm sorry I don't know how to heal your arm," Tyler was disappointed that he had so far been able to do so little to contribute to the group. Hopefully in the future he would learn to pull his own weight, but first they had to get to the hospital. Ethan walked over to James quickly. "Certainly you can find her if we search hard enough. He sounded as if he was from America, specifically the north if that helps. I could get us a plane with little difficulty. The only question is if you would be willing to help me find Alexis or if you feel drawn to help Arina more. Who knows, they could be in the same place, but if not then what will you do?"

(Ooc: umm, I can't really do anything until the vehicle gets to the hospital.)

Ethan launched a fireball at the heartless behind James to attempt to keep it from James before teleported behind Avan and slashed with his scythe. He wasn't terribly close to Arina, but he knew that Riku cared for Kairi and that he'd need to save her if he was going to keep James on his side. Troy reached the hospital and saw a familiar face heading towards it in a large vehicle. "Victoria???" he asked himself. (I hope this is okay, I've been away from internet access for a while but I really don't want this thing to die out.)

Electric Shock by f(x) Enough said.

Troy, upon seeing Keilani's reaction to Sumer's dead body but not knowing what to do about it, sent his former girlfriend a text telling her that it would all be alright. That's something that would make her feel better, right? He still couldn't feel anything but he knew that the person he had been would have wanted to comfort Keilani as much as possible, so that's what he decided to do. Instead of getting in the limo Troy opted to fly his own way there, transforming the X-blade itself into a keyblade glider. (OOC: Just a thought, but what if Alexis created a corridor of darkness and then pretended as if she was being pulled into it? She could even create a second one to deposit Arina at the hospital with the rest of that group. After the fight Ethan could try to lead James into blaming different people for Alexis's kidnapping, sending the two of them off to strike against people. Alexis could do whatever she wanted at that point, perhaps even attempting to absorb any power she could from Scott.)

Ethan saw the glowing keyblade heading in his direction so he quickly sidestepped it, being weary to avoid the streak of purple left floating ominously in its wake. Ethan blew a hole in the wall with a burst of flame before teleporting into the line of fire of Xehenort's keyblade and attempting to redirect it out of the opening he had just created, lessening the threats that the group would have to deal with.

Ethan took back over. "Yours to destroy? Wrong choice of words there pal. I don't know about my friends here, but I'm not about to stand down and just let this happen," Ethan said, trying to keep up the "hero" act, though his protection of the world was far from a lie. After all, he was looking forward to his life of luxury granted him by wealth and power. He spun his scythe in his hands and gathered flames from both ends, the flames traveling down the length of the scythe and meeting in the middle where they shot forth in a powerful blast headed straight for Avan. (OOC: Sorry if this doesn't go along with your plans Xeveemon, but I felt that this is how my character would react. Besides, I figured it had been a long time since James had seen any action, and Alexis hasn't seen any at all. So... fight time!)

Ethan stepped in front of the other three to protect them and then let Hades take over for a moment. "Whoa there bub. What makes you think I'd want to do dirty work for a freako like you? Who'd even be on the list anyway? It's not like a guy like you could know many people," Hades said as he shrugged off the newcomer.

"Well that was... convenient," voiced Troy. "You might want to watch what you say to Rebekah or the crawling one may get upset. We would all love a ride to the hospital if you would be so kind, fellow host. Ventus has informed me that your inhabitor is Terra and wishes to speak to him personally." Troy gives control over to Ventus before heading to the limo. "Hey Terra! It's great to see you again, though your inhabitor is kinda... um... well, he seems alright. Troy kind of lost his heart when the X-blade was formed, so we've got to deal with that, but more importantly we've got to save this world from individuals with inhabitors and impure motives. We just defeated one, actually, so if you guys could give us a ride to the hospital we'd really appreciate it." Ethan smirked. Well, things didn't go exactly as expected but everything came together in the end. He went back to the three in the room. He sighed. "Scott... he's dead. There wasn't really any other way I knew to do things. Do you guys know what you want to do now? I need to get the feeling off this off of me."

While I totally understand and agree that Azure Flame's word on the acceptance or lack thereof of a character is law, I would like to make a short case in favor of repliku. While Repliku was essentially Riku at first, his path diverged in such a way that calling him "basically Riku" would be like calling Namine "basically Kairi". The connections he felt to Namine and the darkness he held were all his own, not belonging to Riku. We can't say for certain how the real Riku would have reacted to all of these situations. Add to that the fact that by the time we're at now in the story, Repliku and Riku have a fairly different fighting style especially with Yuffie's character getting the dual blade. Riku's also grown up since his time at Castle Oblivion were the copy originated from. Those were just some of my thoughts, however I absolutely respect Azure Flame's authority on the matter. I simply wanted to display factors maybe not considered before.

(OOC: Honestly it's pretty much just up to you. If you want another character then go ahead and post it in the other forum and Azure Flame will decide whether it's acceptable or not.)

Ya know, I work 53 hours a week during the summer and I have a part time job while I'm taking classes in college but I still love video games. My love for them far exceeds my available time for playing them. I did just buy a 3DS just for KH3D and Tales of the Abyss, so I figure "growing out of games" is still far away for me if it happens at all.

(And thus the first villain falls. So much has happened and we still have quite a ways to go.) Tyler scooped Tudi up into his arms. "So, uh, now that Alex has passed out, how are we going to get him and the rest of the injured like Tudi and Felix over to the hospital?"

For those of you who don't remember, in the original Kingdom Hearts, a small heartless literally ripped a woman's heart out in Traverse Town and ate it. Now they're selling them as plush toys? What's wrong with these people! It would be like making a stuffed bear for goodness sakes! Wait...

(OOC: Since Keilani had already put up a barrier around Troy and Alex basically took Sumer down I felt that Seichi's actions, while cool and would have been fun, was made kind of irrelevant. I couldn't quite figure out how to make it work. Sorry! I guess all that's left to do in that area in regards to Sumer is for Seichi to get closer and do... whatever Seichi decides to do. Now it's time to get Tudi, Joy, Alex, and Felix out of there and to the hospital to meet with Xeveemon's characters.) Ethan grimaced, keeping up the whole "this is what I have to do to help my friend" thing. He then replied to Marluxia "I'll do you one better." Suddenly, Ethan was gone in a puff of smoke, appearing behind Scott out of the window with his scythe outstretched to grab Scott in the crook of it. He pulled and planned to slam Scott into the ground followed by unleashing a large explosion in his wake to ensure Scott's demise.

Troy turned to Keilani and thanked her for the barrier but his voice lacked emotion. He then turned to Callum and said "I agree. As soon as this attack lets up I'll take care of Ansem. We've got a number of injured here, so as soon as you can get back to fight Reilly please do so." Ethan blocked the rush attack with the bar of his scythe but lost his footing and slid back a few feet before pushing back and attempting to fling Scott off. If he could get Scott to fall back a few steps then Ethan planed on teleporting behind him and slashing him in the back. Not very heroic, sure, but it would get the job done.

"I know that Scott would never want to be controlled like this and much less hurt anyone. I will stop you, Marluxia, even if that means killing my friend!" shouted Ethan in response, putting on a show for the other two. He summoned his scythe in a burst of flame, told the others to get back, and gathered flames into his free left hand from which he shot a ball of fire at Scott. Light from the X-blade revealed the rain of attacks to Troy at the last moment. "Everyone look out!" he cried as he began deflecting the blasts like a mad man. Despite his frantic pace a few of the blasts made it through and scarred his chest and back. He couldn't afford to let up for even a moment, however, or else he would not meet a pleasant end. He suddenly desperately wished that he knew the spell Reflect or even Barrier.

Ethan looked through the file and was impressed. He hadn't figured even someone as cold as Scott could have caused this much mayhem, and he noticed that quite a bit of it had been from before this past year, before he could have possibly gotten Marluxia. Putting on his "I'm torn about the decision I'm supposed to make" face Ethan said "If Marluxia is taking control again and you don't want to hurt anyone else, then if you ask me to I will end your life and take Marluxia down with you. Surely there must be another way though!" Ethan didn't have any idea what Scott was planning. He figured Scott probably just wanted to pretend to die and leave Arina and James with Alexis and himself while Scott went off and did more preparation, but if Scott was planning on making it out of their "fight" alive, he had another thing coming. If there was one thing Ethan hated more than anything else it was blindly following someone else's lead. Scott was a powerful ally, but an unpredictable and uncontrollable one. Ethan figured that now that they had James, Scott had outlived his usefulness. On the outside he was heartbroken but on the inside he was grinning like a devil. Troy, without any time to dodge, quickly cast Aeroga around himself to deter many of the dark shards, but several still made it through and into his skin, piercing his arms, back, chest, you name it. He cast a Curaga spell on himself and then, as if on instinct, leaped into the air only to plummet back into the ground, using one of Vanitas's skills to leap back up from behind or under Ansem and attempt to slash him and assault him with a rain of fireballs. (I figure that since Ven/Vanitas used that move in the last fight of Aqua's story and Ven and Vanitas are connected through the X-blade now, it should be okay to swap some skills.)

So I finally got myself a 3DS, so now when KH3D comes out I'm totally ready. Hecks ya! P.S. Tales of the Abyss is amazing.

(OOC: First off, yes, Sumer's story is a bit sad. Secondly, Damion, it just feels wrong not being able to text you because your stupid phone broke after all of the time we spent hanging out together this last year. It's just... weird. Also, I now has two jobs and will be working 53 hours a week. Fun.) Troy held the X-blade before him and it spun in mid-air, shooting a beam of light out towards Sumer. "Just give it up Ansem. One day the light may be extinguished, but it isn't today!" he shouted. Was it just his imagination, or had he actually felt a bit riled up? Ethan glanced down at the folder, decided that he really wasn't terribly interested in whatever the heck the doctors and shrinks had learned about Scott, and handed it back to him with a smile. "So what do you need me to do?" he asked.

I don't figure they will play quite so large a role as to be involved in the final battle, but I would love it if Sora could visit Shibuya in KH3. That would be amazing.

(OOC: Damion, man, we've got to try to finish this "aside" thing up pretty soon. The heroes are beating the villains down hardcore, or at least have the definite field advantage. Ethan, Scott, Alexis, James, and Arina need to make an appearance with the others here in a little bit.)
