  1. Ethan nodded and said "Lead the way." Wakka took Tyler over to get him away from Tudi and back to the battle. He then used a lot of energy to infuse the ball with Thunder energy before throwing it as hard as he could towards Sumer. As hard as Tyler tried to get back in control, he wasn't focused enough to force it.
  2. Troy nodded at Alex in appreciation and rushed through the portal. He then went to the street corner near The Today Show headquarters where he'd first met Keilani. (OOC: I'm pretty sure I'll be back tomorrow, but not later on in the day. If ever I'm not on, you know what to do. I hope to make that more of a rare occasion, though.)
  3. Whites are no longer the majority, but whites are still the singularity (aka, single largest group amongst groups, but less than half of the total). It isn't a good or bad thing, it's just a thing.
  4. Troy was confused for a moment before realizing that Callum was back in control. "Right!" he shouted, then managed to grab the handle of the X-blade. He saw his allies out of the corner of his eyes and flew above them, slashing the X-blade towards Sumer and Reilly to leave arcs of energy at them. He saw Keilani and the others below him and shouted. "I see that you found Joy. Meet me where we first met, Keilani. Bring the others with you. I've got to protect this thing until we can figure out how to destroy it." With that, he continued his flight onward.
  5. (OOC: Dang, no way Troy could get there that fast by just flying. I'm gonna say he opened one of those blue energy portals from BBS.) Troy arrived on a street in New York City and he didn't know what was going on. He heard explosions and chaos nearby, a good sign that there were probably inhabiters nearby, but he was preoccupied by the sight of the X-blade down the street from him. He pressed his Keyblade Glider to close the distance, hoping to wrap his hands around the blade and find some way to destroy it before any villains got it. If not then at least maybe he and the others could put it to good use.
  6. Ethan spoke up. "Turned himself in for what exactly? And before I could get there to talk him out of it to boot! He was tired of being hunted, so he decided to turn himself in to a prison system, not cannibal island. James, despite how you feel about Scott, you can't possibly think that what this prison is doing is right. How do we know if all of these people even did anything wrong? They were suspected of having inhabiters and after the events of last year this world is scared to death of them. Scared of you, too, I might add, though you do look different without Sephiroth's heavy influence. Different enough for most people not to recognize you from the news, especially since they think you're dead. I was hoping that you'd be on the same side Alexis and I are with this, but if you don't want anything to do with it, you can leave right now. I won't stop you. The same goes for you, Arina. I know that you kind of just got roped into this, but I'm glad you got to see the truth first-hand. You're free to do whatever you want, but my sister and I are staying."
  7. (OOC: You guys know how much it sucks not having internet? A LOT! Man I'm super far behind. Well, here goes.) Ethan wasn't sure if Scott's words were true and if he was honestly as beat up as he seemed, but he decided to go with it, if mostly for the benefit of the new girl Arina and James. "Well what do you want us to do Scott? Obviously we can't let things continue like this, but I don't want to injure any guards and some of those prisoners wouldn't be safe for the general public to face." In all honesty, Ethan couldn't care less about the safety of any of those people, and actually was keeping himself quite amused by glancing at a newscast on a tv in the upper corner of the room that showed disaster in Disney. Hades inwardly hoped that anything celebrating Hercules was destroyed in the chaos. There were also feeds on another city which were equally entertaining. Tyler ran towards Tudi's fallen body and jumped over Sumer, twisting in mid-air and putting all of his momentum behind launching the ball directly at him. Troy gasped as the pain in his shoulder from the wound Vanitas had inflicted suddenly dramatically intensified. He saw before him the destruction brought on by the creation of the X-blade and was struck with horror. "What?! No! This wasn't supposed to happen! I was supposed to defeat you!" he shouted at the top of his lungs. Deep in his heart he felt a tug at the very essence of who he was. That energy was ripped from his heart and used in part to form the X-blade. Troy thought of Keilani and felt... nothing. He remembered what he should feel, but he didn't feel anything. He couldn't even feel scared or sad about it, even though he knew he should. He felt empty. With no idea how to handle this realization, he let Ventus take over and summon the Keyblade Glider, flying him back to America. (I will definitely try to be on a lot more often, but I don't know for sure when that will be. Also, Number XV and I decided that Ventus and Vanitas would remain the same after the creation of the X-blades in our worlds, but that the two hosts would basically become Nobodies. Should make things interesting, though it is a little sad.)
  8. Troy rolled forward to dodge, but had trouble getting back up because of the sand. This left him slightly off balance. (OOC: Headed out for now, if one of the previously approved individuals wouldn't mind to take control for a little bit then that'd be great. Otherwise Number XV will be stuck for a little bit.)
  9. (OOC: Troy can actually travel via Keyblade Glider, but it's sweet that Keilani's so worried.)
  10. Troy rolled sideways in the sand to avoid the blow, then he summoned his keyblade and stood up, coming to face Vanitas head on. He tried a Sliding Dash to close the distance quickly and maybe throw Vanitas off balance.
  11. Troy caught the water bottle and rushed towards Keilani, grabbing her and kissing her passionately before turning back to the portal. "Sorry Rebekah, sorry Aqua!" Troy/Ven shouted before casting a stop spell on her. He knew it wouldn't hold for long, but maybe just long enough. As he ran towards the portal he called out behind him "I'll be back soon!" Suddenly the portal collapsed and he fell face first into the sand.
  12. Troy leapt up, under the control of Ven, but completely in agreement. "There's no reason to get the others involved then, make a portal and take us far from here. Last I checked, these battles get pretty hectic, and I don't want anyone else getting hurt." Troy turned to Rebekah, patting her on the shoulder and telling her that it'd all be okay, then turned to the others. "You all go ahead and rescue Joy tomorrow. I'll join you as soon as I can." He ended up staring deeply into Keilani's eyes before giving her a comforting smile, then he turned back to Vanitas. "Let's go."
  13. Troy stood and then offered his hand to Keilani to help her up, then walked her to her bedding where he tucked her in gently. He then offered his hand to her as he looked out into the woods vigilantly.
  14. (OOC: It's quite alright. I'm a hopeless romantic too. Troy's like a stylized version of the person I'd like to be.) Troy's face nearly hurt from smiling so hard, but it was completely eclipsed by the warmth he felt inside. "What do you mean? I'm the lucky one. I can't tell you how glad I am that I got the chance to meet you." Troy was still holding Keilani in his arms, his face just inches from her own. He leaned in and kissed her on the tip of the nose and said "How about we get you some sleep, okay? I'll still be here when you wake up, and if you don't want me to leave you then I can sit by your bedside and keep watch from there. Otherwise I'll just see you when our shift change comes up. Sound good, princess?"
  15. Ethan led Arina to her room and left her with the keys, promising to see her in the morning to talk about things then and giving her permission to spend as much as she wanted on room service or whatever. Then he walked back to his own room, opened the door, and found the receptionist already in more... comfortable clothes while lying on his bed in a seductive position. He ripped his shirt off and smiled, putting the "do not disturb" sign on the door and shutting it behind him, smiling devilishly as he approached the bed. Troy would've gone out into the rain to speak to Felix, but Alex and Rebekah seemed to have it all under control and he didn't want to disturb Keilani as she lay her head on his shoulder. He blushed when she thanked him and kissed him on the cheek, and was quite proud of the food he'd helped make as well. Everyone had done a wonderful job. Troy was going to kiss Keilani on the forehead in response to her kissing him on the cheek, but when he looked into her eyes as they sparkled in the campfire he wrapped his arms around her and gently pulled her closer, slowly leaning in to kiss her softly on the lips. Tyler had grabbed himself and Tudi a bowl each and scarfed it all down, barely taking a break to breath. Turning to Tudi he said, "Maybe you ought to get some sleep, ya? I'll stay up with the rest of the guys here while you ladies get some rest. Don't make a fuss, now, you'll all get your chance to stand guard. First, though, you sleep." Tyler smiled at her and went to swoop her up and place her in a makeshift bed. ("Went to" means that he began the action of doing so, but she could do any number of things to react.) Tyler was glad that he'd met her, she was a really fun person, if a bit childish.
  16. If you're playing on a harder difficulty because you want the game to be a challenge then just press forward into the story. If you're playing it on a harder difficulty to see if you can do it then just level up until you're too bored to level up any more.
  17. (OOC: "Suite 69" lol.) Troy handed Felix the last of the birds so he could clean it off and then cast a quick fire spell on the flame to have it burn ever brighter before he went to grab some more wood. After Ethan had finished setting up all of the candles and music and such he noticed that he felt another inhabitor nearby. "Oh come on already, haven't we had enough of them for one day?" asked Hades. "I'll agree with you there, but it's never a bad idea to stock up on some spare pawns for our little game." With that, Ethan left his room and headed to the lobby, winking at the brunette at the register as she was getting ready to close up. "Do you think that you could stay there for just a bit longer love? I think that I'm about to have to get a third room for a new friend." She nodded sheepishly, and Ethan walked over to the girl in the lobby. "Looks like you could use a place to rest. I don't care who your inhabiter is, you can't go without sleep forever. Don't worry, I'll pay for your room, it looks like you might need it. Those of us with inhabiters have got to stick together, right?" The girl looked innocent enough, which would make her easy to manipulate. Good. Ethan needed something easy right about then.
  18. Welcome to the site! It's always great when new people sign on. My one suggestion would be to go ahead and get involved in the threads on the forum. Everyone's pretty chill and you can always find a topic you're interested in. If not then you can simply start up a thread of your own! Anyways, I'm glad to meet you!
  19. Can't say as I expected to see any hateclubs in the fanclub section, but this is the internet where everything is topsy turvy, safe search isn't safe, and memes are spawned. I should be used to the unexpected.
  20. (OOC: Lol, actually Tudi was the one who came in with the birds. And Tyler. I feel like we might ought to wrap this camping session up and get on to the next day here pretty quick, but not before everyone's ready of course.) "Hey there Mariah, no, can't say as I know you too well, but I'm glad for the opportunity to change that!" Troy responded with a warm smile. He'd heard a little from Rebekah and gathered the rest of what he knew from the others and from observation. She had been left about a year ago by the one person she cared for most after already being forced to witness the death of comrades and being forced to kill another boy she loved. She had been a wreck ever since, but when James miraculously came back to life and found her, there seemed to be new hope in her life. Joy decided at that moment to try to come back into Mariah's life, but was too afraid and repeatedly hid away, avoiding confronting her and the fact that he had left in the first place. When both of them were finally standing before her and she had to make a decision, her choice made one of their most powerful allies run off and her love was taken from her. Troy was just astounded that she could still be standing after all she had been through. She was strong, and that made Troy think about and glance back at his small, fragile, unique, and beautiful snowflake of a girlfriend as she drew in her sketchpad. Thinking about her made him smile, but he couldn't bear the thought of her having to endure even a fraction of what Mariah had been through. Snapping back to reality he handed Mariah one of the birds and continued his easy speech. "So you're Rebekah's cousin right? Since she's a bit like my big sister due to the whole Ven and Aqua thing, I guess that makes you kind of like my cousin, too. Don't worry, tomorrow we'll be able to save Joy and get him back. I'll do everything I can." Ethan smirked at Lexi. "Of course lil sis! What else are big brothers for?" he responded before heading back to his room and setting up some candles and music. If he was right, and Ethan was confident that he was, then this sort of thing would be just the ticket for that receptionist girl. A lot of girls fell for all of that frilly crap.
  21. Actually, although it's true that the younger generation, especially those interested in fantastical games such as Kingdom Hearts, are more accepting of homosexuality than perhaps other demographics, I'm afraid that this poll and these messages aren't truly representative of the kh13 community. Those who express a different opinion regarding the amendment would feel pressure from all of us on the thread, especially since it's unanimous. Even though we aren't actually there with them, the peer pressure would highly influence them not to say anything against the shared opinion of the group. This may force them to reconsider their views, or they could simply check the thread and leave.

    Zexion's Song

Zexion sure did come out of his shell.
  23. "Well it's nice to meet you Elie," said Troy with a slight smile as he went to cleaning off the bird with a knife from the supplies he had grabbed. Tyler was a bit taken aback by it all. To think that each one of them was like him, and that they all had inhabiters. Why were they inhabited? Why were they all here? Did he hear that some of them had been kidnapped? Did that mean that there were "bad guys" as well? What could he do to help? When would the food be ready? Granted, some of the questions were more pressing than others, but all the same Tyler listened attentively as Tudi began to tell him about what had been happening. Every once in a while he felt his focus drifting away as he looked into her eyes, but repeatedly snapped himself back to attention, putting renewed focus into listening to what she had to say. It was difficult enough for him as it was due to his ADHD.
  24. Understandable. Oftentimes it's difficult to portray what one really means when simply posting on the internet, especially since few of us have prior connections to one another or know much about each other's backgrounds. On topic, however, I believe that homophobic Christians aren't homophobic due to their belief system, but rather due to their cultural and/or social upbringing. They justify homophobia the way many Christians way back when would justify slavery using scriptures. Most of homophobia in general is simply a cultural phenomenon, and as soon as it stops being the norm, it will be changed. Many people who voted against homosexual marriage were probably simply having trouble coping with change or difference, because let's face it. Change is scary. I don't think we should be really mad at them though, but rather feel sorry for them that they are so scared of change that they would fight it tooth and nail, even if it poses no real threat to them.
