  1. (Sorry, keyboard broke, then wi-fi got disabled... its a long story. Borrowing sis's laptop for now) Nessa rolled her eyes, yet smiling slightly, at Night. Yep, he was still the same old Night. "Hey Allison, I know its kind of a touchy subjest but," she paused, then turned to Allison. "Do you think the old Jarry might be here?"
  2. Nessa gazed at the Sea Temple ahead."Remind me again why we're going to the Sea Temple." she laughed a little. "It's been a while." Lyra had followed them this far, not because she found them a threat, now simply out of curiousity. When the ship went underwater, she made sure her sword was fastened tightly, and dove after it. Swimming came to her naturally and she always seemed immune to pressure and lack of air. The Sea Temple, so thats what it looks like. Maybe it holds answers to why I'm a Siren.
  3. "Are we near the Sea Temple?" Nessa asked. Finally, they would hopefully be closer to fighting the Darkness, and Evil Matt it seemed.
  4. Nessa looked at Matt curiously from above, as heights had never bothered her. He was still frozen, yet Balthasar's magic had worn off. She gently raised her hand and tried to get a feel for the area around him. There was a still a presence of magic, but it might've been what was left from Balthasar. "Interesting." she whispered.
  5. Nessa glared at her enemy Matt on the ship. "Probably something you should know about him. He tried to kill me, and succeeded. Thanks to Night, I'm still alive." She looked back to the jungle trees. "If you're going to put a stake through his heart, please let me do it."
  6. Nessa blinked a little, looking around. "Well, looks like you have some control over your powers." The one true Matt...? Wait a minute... Nessa felt the color drain from her face. "Night, Alison, thats Jarry's brother, the one that tried to kill us!"
  7. At last, the chains slipped off of Matt. "Finally!" Nessa mumbled. She took a careful look at the man. He seemed vaguely familar, but she couldn't quite remember. "Matt, get off and lets go!" She yelled, spotting the hurricane nervously.
  8. Nessa narrowed her eyes, still working with the chains. "What do you mean? Who are you?" She called back to the man on the ship.
  9. I think I'm going to post it at the end of November when its done, or wait until I've finished editing it.
  10. My first time doing it this year. Writing the first book in what I hope to be a trilogy.
  11. You're welcome
  12. Nessa covered her ears. "What is Matt?! My ears are ringing." she muttered. Nessa looked up at the boat, spotting Matt. She mumbled a few words under her breath, and began gradually loosening the chains around Matt. Remeber to foucs. She blinked bits of sand out of her eyes as the wind picked up. Thats not me, and Balthasar seemed more in control of time and space. Who's doing it then?
  13. National Novel Writing Month starts today! This is my first time writing a novel, but I've been wanting to write one.
  14. Just went trick-or-treating with my little brother. It was fun, reminded me of when Halloween was on Friday. Sigh
  15. I am not singing that. Very good though, I don't really like the dark theme, but this a good dark-evilish type song.
  16. Don't make the girl lovesick. That annoys me so much. As for romance, it depends on what relationship you're going for. if you want the sweet, innocent love, tenative hand-holding and pecks on the cheek. If you want something a bit more passionate, more *ahem* seductive embraces, such as a guy wrapping his arm around the girls waist, and deeper kisses. As for titles, it really depends on the plot of the story. Read alot of romantic novels, you'll get alot of inspiration and probably more help than I could give. Try and make the romance real, and not too fairy-tale, only-happens-in-books sort of thing.
  17. What day do ghost haunt houses, And cats stalk streets? When one is placed with the choice of giving A trick or a treat? When the dark Unleashes its worst? None other than the notorious October 31st Ghouls, goblins, monsters of all kind Freely roam the roads Seeking treaures of sweets From door to door they go Frightening faces Complete with a disguise Rotting limbs and open wounds Seldom don't terrify Masks of many shapes and type Fake faces on a parade Flash of monster, glimpse of ghost Are seen on this chilling masquerade You've been warned, beware! You cannot escape, but you can try! For who know what may happen Under a full-mooned sky
  18. "I don't think he was talking to you, Night." Nessa sighed. "And it's not as simple as that." she muttered quietly. She turned to Balthasar and Quintus. "If you'd like, I could teach you a little about magic."
  19. Divergent (haven't finished it, but it's pretty good) Tiger's Curse (bit more on the love triangle side, very good though) And despite the horrible portrayal from the movie, Twlight was one of the best books I've ever read
  20. Since Nessa was used to magic, she had some control on how she landed. "Not enough to put near anyone though." She muttered, looking around the shore. "Well, this island can't be too big." She wandered around for a while, until she heard voices. She immediatly recognized Allison, Nick, and Balthasar's, but there was a fourth one that was unfamilar. "Hey, its Nessa." She joined them after she heard Quintus introduce himself. Oh, another arrival. Lyra watched the group from a fair distance. She narrowed her eyes. Who were they, how did they get here, and more importantly, when would they leave? There were too many to attack right now, so she would just watch. I hid from the Darkness this long, they aren't going to catch me now.
  21. Nessa ran inside quickly, shutting the door behind her. "This isn't exactly an ordinary ship." She remarked. The storm was horrible, though. "How far is the Sea Temple now?"
  22. "I'm a witch. You know, casting spells and the sorts." Nessa shrugged nonchalantly. "It can be a bit overwhelming. If you're here, you'll probably find your powers in time, I assume. Maybe when we get to the temple."
  23. (Thanks "More destined?" Nessa asked. She wasn't sure there had been others, it had always just been their group. Maybe it would be better to have more people, though. They would have a better chance of fighting. . .whoever or whatever was trying to hurt them.
  24. (Sorry, got a cold and wasn't able to get on.) Nessa blinked a little, and rubbed sleepiness out of her eyes as she sat up in her bed. Quickly getting ready, she walked to the upper decks after putting her hair in a loose braid. Her eyes widened a little as she looked at the two, no three new arrivals. Claws? "Allison, Night, Nick? Who are these people?" Nessa saw Matt's and Balthasar's awestruck faces. "You two, assuming you're friends and want to stay, you better get used to it."
  25. I have a cold and a headache, oh joy.
