  1. Erika woke with a start, one of the books sprawled open beside her. "I must've fallen alsleep." she mumbled. She remembered she was having a nightmare, though now she couldn't remember what it was about. Everyone must be on the roof. She walked up, and yawned slightly. "Good morning."
  2. "Gone?" Nessa asked. "As in, he's missing?" And when does Matt being a monster not matter? No, Nessa focus. We need to find Jarry.
  3. Nessa jumped a little, startled. "Oh, hey Alison." She looked at her warily. "Everything ok?"
  4. "I just wanted to make sure you're okay." Nessa replied. "Despite what Alison said, I think you reacted normally. Matt killed me, and tried to kill you, and thats not something you shake off easily." She shrugged ."I guess I just wanted you to know I'm on your side on this one."
  5. Nessa sighed in exasperation, then screamed a little. She looked down at the dress, now dirty and torn in a few places. Her hair was wild and tnagled around her face. "Well tonight went wonderfully." she muttered, walking outside. Her house wasn't very far from the school, and she needed to think. But no matter which way her thoughts went, it always came back to: Matt killed me, and Night riskd his life to save me. She passed Night's house, and stopped. Maybe I should go talk to him. "Night?"
  6. What could Nessa say? Sorry for your loss? Except, she wasn't sure she was sorry. Matt had tried to kill her, suceeded, tried to kill Night, and maybe everyone in that room, maybe even Jarry and Alison. Instead, she said nothing, and bowed her head in respect.
  7. "Matt." Nessa spat. "That's pretty much what happened. Thanks for saving me, Night." she added. "Sorry that your brother tried to kill us." Nessa mumbled to Jarry, not really knowing what to say to her friend whose brother had tried to kill her.
  8. Erika grabbed a few books and went upstairs to her room, her nose buried in one of the books. She laid down on her bed, flipping the pages, trying to find out more about Hades.
  9. Am I dead? No, I couldn't be. This feels too real. Nessa cautiously opened her eyes, and her eyes darted around. "I am alive." she whispered incredulously. "Night." she turned to him, the fact of being alive suddenly losing its greatness. "Night!" She turned to Jarry and Alison. "Is he alive?"
  10. Nessa eyes widened, and for a moment she wondered if time had stopped completely. But then there was shocking pain in her neck, and she was finally able to get out of Matt's grasp, only to fall on the floor choking. "Not. . .as easy to heal. . .as you think." she said to Night, every few words puncuated by a choke. She covered her throat with her hand, and closed her eyes as dark spots began to dance across her vision, then slumped to the floor.
  11. Nessa struggled a little against Matt, all too aware of the dagger at her neck. "Let me go." she demanded, though she highly doubted he would. What does he want with us?
  12. Nessa's eyes narrowed, and she hurled on of her knives toward Matt's back. SHe whispered a chant, and the other knife grew longer into a sword. She swung the sword a few times in the air, and then slashed at Matt.
  13. "Night!" Nessa yelped, running toward Matt, drawing her knives, though not as quickly as Night. She stopped in front of him, glaring. "You," Her voice quavered with hate. "What did you do?"
  14. "I don't know." Nessa's skin tingled where the knives were hidden under her sleeves, but she didn't take them out, not yet. She knelt by one of the people who were injured, whispering a simple healing spell. "You're going to be fine." she assured. "Where's Alison and Jarry? We need to find them." Nessa said, coming back over to Night.
  15. Nessa looked acroos the room, but she didn't see Matt either. "No." She was started to feel agitated, and that song wasn't helping either. Wait a second. . ."Night," she hissed. "She's singing about a shooting at a school, we are in a school, and I don't see Matt anywhere." She looked at the crowd. "We should get them out of here."
  16. Half day at school AND three day weekend.
  17. Erika watched as Mephisto came back to where the circus was camping. Freak Show Circus and Cirque de Horrore at a showdown on the beach, huh? Before getting into her carriage, she wanted to see the new acts. The angel, a wolf-girl, and . . . was she hallucinating? A two-headed person, a boy and girl no less! "Fasinating." she whispered, before slipping back into her carriage, unseen, unheard, and unnoticed.
  18. Still taking people? -Name: Erika Young (Master of Illusions) -Age: 18 -Appearence before Circus: (Optional if you were deformed at the circus): Long curly brown hair, dark hazel eyes, pale skin, slightly taller than average. -Appearence of now(include deformity): Complete left of side of the face is scarred and deformed to look like a rotting corpse, though this covered by a white mask except during performance, pale-yellow skin, very thin limbs, hair is pulled back into a tight bun -Bio(How you got into the circus. Willingly or by force): Erika was a strange girl for her age, preferring piano music over pop, and studying illusions and magic over shopping. This, of course, made her a social outcast, but she didn't mind, as she preferred being alone. Her father took her to the circus when she was 10 years old because she wouldn't stop bugging him to take her. Half-way through the show, she was terrified and begged to go home. On the way out, her father was separtated from her thanks to a large crowd, and she was 'found' by the circus employees. She struggled against them at first, but slowly realized there was no going back. She is the has been with the circus longer than almost anyone else, and helped very much with the circus' production, from the music to which towns to strike next an even giving tips about what deformity to give the new arrivals. She pities the new arrivals, but tells them to be quiet and know their place, thats what will keep them out of trouble, after all. She has a short temper, and never, under any circumstance, try to take off her mask. -Circus where you belong: Cirque de Horrore
  19. My name is Namine. With an a. Just wanted to make that clear.
  20. "If Kara'a bleeding that badly, someone should've been with her." Erika huffed. She turned back to the books. "Mind if I look at a few of these?" she asked, picking up a book about Hades.
  21. I like it. It has a nice ring to it, and the general idea of it is a nice thought.
  22. Erika made it back to the school, and quickly found Josh looking at books in a lounge. "Need some help looking?" She asked, her eyes skimming the titles of the books.
  23. Erika walked quietly away from Kira and Kyle, giving them some time alone. "I think I'll go find Josh." She muttered. As she walked down the road, she couldn't help but roll her eyes. Yes, she loved her friends as much as her family, but Kyle was constantly sacrificing himself, and always acted as though he was leaving, but he always came back, and she could tell from the expression on Kira's face that she thought she wasn't helping. Why don't they both see how strong they are, if they would just forget their past and embrace the present. She smirked a little. No wonder they're siblings, they're very alike in some ways.
  24. Erika eyes widened. "Isaac?!" She grabbed her sword, climbed into one of the trees, and pounced down on him, bring her sword heavily onto Isaac. "You just don't know when to give up, do you?" she spat.
