Describe The Person Above You!
A veteran who knows how to change his avatar! (Seriously, I have no clue about how to do it.)

Describe The Person Above You!
THE Mysterious Figure. Wait, does that mean-- *HP drop to zero*

Describe The Person Above You!
A space cowboy that fights off hordes of zombies in alternate dimensions with a keyblade that shoots other keyblades that in turn summon rocket launchers capable of throwing Xemnas' laser blades. Maybe not, but it was worth giving a try.

Most likely not a "bastard" as the user's "keyblade bastard" makes him/her out to be.

Small bonus for pre-ordering Kingdom Hearts 3D in Europe
Now it's beyond very clear - it's official that Square Enix is very selective when choosing which countries deserve to be cuddled the most. However, I don't want to be a whiny synonym-of-donkey-hole this time too. Instead, I wanted to state how happy (and a bit jealous, but still happy) I am for the fellow French, British and German fans. Kudos!

Kingdom Hearts 3D - German Commercial
Nice! Hopefully, these efforts will lead to the game getting more and more popular, and maybe even some patches that will allow the game's release to remotely resemble proper localization. I wonder what the commercial will be like, here in Italy. "Kingdom Hearts 3D! The commercial is in Italian, the game itself isn't!". Sorry, but the snarky ad-parody was too much of a temptation. However, really. It looks like Square does care about Europe after all (although, to be fair, it should be noted that Nintendo's the one dealing with the European release). Let's just hope nobody (heh heh, "Nobody") will be left out in the future.

Fan made 3DS cover for KHDays (Remake) ..What do you think?
If it was real, I'd buy it only if 1) there was a way to choose allies in single player mission mode, and 2) if mission mode had a "free play" kind of mission.

Bit of News for PAL Territories
Come to think of it, I guess that linking to the petition in this thread as well might help Nintendo notice the issue they should deal with. http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/kingdom-hearts-3d-localization-for-spanish-and-italian.html Thanks in advance to everyone who cooperates with this.

Bit of News for PAL Territories
Considering both examples have been localized, this can only be for the better.

KH3D only with English, French and German Subtitles
Thanks for your sympathy, personally, it means a lot to me. ;-)

Bit of News for PAL Territories
Alas, all we can hope for now is a patch. After all, given the font and related data is already programmed in, a translation of the script as well as localized text wouldn't take much space, so...

Bit of News for PAL Territories
As I mentioned in the other thread specifically about the localization, while I'm not mad for myself as I can understand English and generally don't care for dubs as I couldn't even think of KH without English voices, I feel awful for anyone who won't even properly understand the tutorial because of his or her lack of knowledge of the language. Also, if Spain and Italy won't, I don't see why Germany and France got localized text in the first place.

Bit of News for PAL Territories
I didn't mean to blame anything on Nintendo, I was just saying that Heroes Of Ruin got the undeserved shilling that should have been placed on Theatrhythm and KH3D. About Theatrhythm's lack of localization, by the way, the eShop lists the languages available for it as "English" alone (and "English - German - French" for KH3D). What I meant was, Nintendo could do something (like releasing a patch) in order to give the game translated text. Didn't blame anything on Nintendo in the first place.

So far, that seems to be right. Wait 'till Kingdom Hearts III, with the game getting released on the PS3 while the Wii U and the Xbox 720 get the obligatory middle finger.

Bit of News for PAL Territories
I think this is a very good thing. Square Enix messed things up royally with the European localization, so hopefully Nintendo will handle things nicely. And if they - as narrow as this possibility is - decide to do their own localization, then I wouldn't care if the Keyblade is referred to with female pronouns (for the record, considering most things in Italian have gendered pronouns, the Keyblade is canonically referred to as a male). Nintendo, save this game for everyone who isn't as lucky as KH fans who know English, like me. (Because leaving Theatrhythm and KH3D untranslated, only to give both localized subs AND voice acting to Heroes Of Ruin, is just a shame, hands down.)

KH3D only with English, French and German Subtitles
The petition has almost reached 5000 signatures. Holy smokes, Square Enix isn't gonna ignore this.

Sorry for the typo, I meant "On a side note".

KH3D DEMO IS UP
Played it once so far, although the lack of translated text for both Spain and Italy left a kinda bitter taste in my mouth while I was playing. That's a wound that'll take a while to stop aching. Still, the game itself is beyond awesome regardless of this detail.

KH3D only with English, French and German Subtitles
Yep, we know, Miguel. On a side know, HOLY SMOKES DOWNLOADING THE DEMO NOW (the only instance of the lack of localized text actually making sense).
-
KH3D only with English, French and German Subtitles
Yep. If you want a fanbase, learn how to keep it. Of course, if the petition keeps going that strong, we can hope for Spanish and Italian subs getting released as a patch (hey, KH3D actually does support patches, so yeah).

KH3D only with English, French and German Subtitles
I'll say, if any KH was dubbed in my language, it would lose the charm the series is known for. It just wouldn't be the same. That said, it doesn't mean the same must happen with subs as well. Not everyone among my fellow Italian KH fans knows English, you know. (See "Fan Myopia" on TvTropes.) Which is where the heart (heh) of the problem resides. (Man, I'm commenting a lot about this topic today. Didn't predict I could wish to voice my opinion that much. Must be because I'm speaking for non-English-speakers...) It looks like J. Severe got shot by KH fans like me...*puts on sunglasses* ... with a Keyblade. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH Sorry, that was meant for a striked-out comment in page 2. Sorry for that last CSI Miami-esque comment, that was meant for a striked-out comment by J. Severe in the comments' (current) page 2.

KH3D only with English, French and German Subtitles
Nope, it didn't. The fact this is unprecedented (and with a game series partially coming from Disney, no less), without counting the not-released-in-Europe-at-all Re:Chain Of Memories, is what makes it even weirder. For the record, the other one game that got localized worldwide very quickly is Dissidia [duodecim] 012 Final Fantasy, and even in that case the quick lozalization came with the price of untranslated menus. The only text that got localized was the plot-related part of it, nothing more. I'm not pissed about this because I can't read English text, on the contrary, I know English enough to enjoy the game as-is, as you should be able to tell by this post (hint, I'm Italian). I'm pissed about this because it's not like every other Italian can understand English that well; especially considering some friend of mine might want to try the game sooner or later, only to find out that not even in-game tutorials and menus are translated. Even if you don't care about a game's plot, the game's dev team should be wise enough to translate its tutorials. In other words, I'm speaking for the Italian (and Spanish, duh) KH fans who don't know English.

Sorry, I had no idea. Didn't see the other pages of this thread and found out about it by myself.

KH3D only with English, French and German Subtitles
For those interested: there's ALREADY a petition. Even I'm stunned. http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/kingdom-hearts-3d-localization-for-spanish-and-italian.html

KH3D only with English, French and German Subtitles
The funny thing is, now that you mentioned it, something really similar (translated subtitles for the story, untranslated menus) happened when Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy got released in Europe. Yeah, the other Square Enix title that didn't take forever for localization. There's nothing coincidental about this. When we were told about the July 20 release date, we should have seen it coming in the first place (let alone what happened with Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain Of Memories).
