Since the novels aren't canon to the games, then I don't think any theories can be applied to him when it comes to Vanitas's involvement in the future games. Of course, Square may end up contradicting this, but Nomura did say that the novels don't tie into the games.

The novels aren't canon to the games. They have Square's permission to print, but they have their own separate continuity.

Most of the hate Kairi gets is from either her being "useless plot device" or her getting shipped with Sora. I hope the former side of her hatedom calms down...but I'm asking for too much, aren't I? Team Kairi FTW!!!! >8D

You sir, have made my day. People keep forgetting that Kairi will help foil Xehanort's plans; she doesn't have any darkness so she can't be manipulated by him. And if she learns to fight, she won't be a damsel in distress anymore. People have been complaining how Kairi has been useless for the last 10 years and now that she's finally getting a chance to use her keyblade, be more than just a plot device, and get some character development, people are complaining about this. WHAT.

It's not a 1, it's an lower case L. The font they used just makes it hard to figure out, but it's an L.

As much as I wish for Terra and Aqua's relationship to expand, I know that won't happen. Nomura doesn't want to make any pairing official because the fandom keeps inventing new ones all the time, and canonizing any pairing would alienate fans whom oppose the official couple(s). If there was any intention of having a canon couple(s) in the KH series, that idea sank faster than the Titanic long ago. u_u
