theres so many thigns square is doing wrong right now. not even counting the lack of PC support for final fantasy and KH games. lets begin for starters they still havnt finished vs13 which is a huge development moneyhole, and instead of trying to wrap it up ship it and get money back for development they keep relasing sequels to FF13 which noboddy is asking for. than they keep putting the KH franchise on hold because of VS13 and releasing side games instead. and while i enjoy a lot of them some just arnt that fun and the plot is getting more and more conveluted. and while thats not bad they cant even keep the plot together in a cohearent manner. 3D still left a lot of confusing questions in my head about the time travel. now heres the part i love thats killing them they arn't supporting PC gamers with FF or KH! for the love of god i think every other franchise they have is on PC already. the controlls would work fine in the games AND PC sales will get them a lot more revenue than console sales because their is no physical packaging, they could have amde a ton of money on FF7 being on PC but decided to keep it excluse to the square website which probobly killed sales.. and PC aside for a moment keeping 1 franchise console exclusive for no hardware reason is just going to kill them with a much more limited fanbase. oh and heres the part i love. instead of giving PC gamers a real KH game they want to give us a watered down browser game, which will cost them MORE money for upkeep with running servers than a port would ever cost. hopefully the new CEO fixes the company

i cannot wait to see how low the sales are going to be compared to the original because its only on the PS3

if you think square wont release KH on the PS4 going forward your an idiot. and what about that other promise square(japan) made? i seem to recall them wanting to work on verses 13 and nothing else and than they threw that away with lightning returns being developed

if you think a PC that meets or exceeds hardware requierments would be expensive for a PS3 game....you seriously have no idea what your talking about. you dont need a super computer to run games, not to mention a game which is a port of a PS2 game. what the heck do mods have to do with an MMO. a mod is a mod, theres nothing multiplayer about it unless you have someone make a mod so the game can be multiplayer

because PC can match the requierments of a PS3 game easily. because you can use a controller or keyboard. because more of a profit is made for square with each sale. because the series can get mods. because a PC is easilly accesable to everyone

it would be a waste because anyone considering buying a PS3 for KH 1.5, is probobly considering it just for that. and as i said, if you dont already own one you probobly wont bother because the PS4 is right around the corner with all future titles i'd rather actually have the file on my machine instead of on a cloud. cloud storage for PS4 wont be around forever. i want to own a copy of the game that 10 or 20 years from now i can play with no hassle

now PS4 has been announced, and it looks like sony is determined to shoot themselves in the foot with no backwards compatability...again.... seriously. any fans now who were thinking of buying a PS3 for 1.5 most likely wont because that will be a pretty big waste of money with the PS4 right around the corner and future KH games going on that. we NEED a PC version so that the game will be around for a long time. the only reason we are having 1.5 is because of no backwards compatability on PS3 and now we are going to go through all this again with the PS4 eventually. this needs to stop, i dont want to hold onto 3 consoles just to play 1 franchise, nobody does! just put it on PC. even if its just released on squares webiste like FF7 was and not on steam. although its not like square has never published anything on steam before, but i'll take what i can get.

the confrence just completely undersold it for me as a PC gamer. yes obveously games can be better on a PC but there are console exclusives that i would consider buying a console for. the one thing that ticked me off was how the guys said "like computer CPU's super charged for gaming" do you even understand how hardware works, or the fact that such CPU's already exist? you don't super charge a CPU its faster or its not, theres no gaming specific qualitys.(kinda a weird personall nitpick but thats just me) and there were a few other things. the ammount of ram was impressive but its going to be restricted to probobly 6 GB or less because the PS4 would need 2GB running in the background for games. the streaming also i dont think should have been focused on as much. i want to play games, with freinds too, but everything they are talking about with it being so fast you can join freinds in an instant just isnt feasable on an average internet data plan in my eyes. and you shouldnt make a big selling point something a minority of the fanbase will have acces to, especially since the fanbase is already pretty limited. EDIT: i will give them credit though for letting the PSvita be a controller, thats something i've always been thinking since the WiiU has been announced that nintendo should have done with the 3DS, though they would need to release a model with a second joystick built in.(which many people would love) i think i'll just stick with PC gaming regardless of what KHor other title gets released, if sqare is smart they will port it to PC eventually

i think its great but im ticked off its PS3 only. seriously the PS4 is right around the corner and will probobly have no backwards compatability so buying a PS3 just for this game would be a complete waste since its the only PS3 game i want. seriously just make the series multiplatform already. at least on PC, 2 final fantasy MMOs have already released theres no reason not to.

maybe because they only bothered to release the regular version on PS2? back than during that console generation that would have been completely fine, there were numerous reasons mainly graphical why the series had to stay on play station 2. things change over time. PS3 isnt the king PS2 used to be over here, its got numerous problems that have driven people over to xbox including kingdom hearts fans. the only edge PS3 has is graphics and that no longer applies for this franchise which clearly isnt going to be pushing the PS3s limits. putting the game on xbox wont take away from the experience. square is just being weird about western markets and probobly hurting their own sales figures doing stupid stuff like this. the fact they wont even publish on PC where they already have made 2 MMO's is just stupid, especially considering how much more money you can make out of PC sales because theres no physical packaging cost. also i really dont give a damn about the game being aimed at japanese markets, they have even more fans in western markets that they should be supporting as well equally. most of the content that makes KH what it is has been made in the west for gods sakes!(everything disney related)

when has that EVER stopped a japanese developer from publishing on xbox? square is just the odd one out thats weird about this stuff. and its not even all of square, just the japanese division that works on FF and KH, wait no scratch that even they have published onto xbox360 because of western popularity. this shouldnt all of a sudden stop games from going multiplatform. do i think its likely to come out on xbox? no, not that likely but it still should be multiplatform. at the least it should be PS3 and PC so its accesable to everyone. P.S bad buisness move? getting a larger audience and catering to fans who went from PS2 to xbox or other consoles is a bad move? in a game that is the collection of the begining of the series where new people can get into it.

as much as i would like for this to happen probobly wouldnt since 360 isnt popular in japan. although when has that ever stopped any japanese developer before and FF13 came out on xbox. as much as i would like an xbox release it probobly wont happen but for the love of god put 1.5 on PC there are zero problems with doing that, even microsoft is possibly putting halo back on PC.

it dosent matter its still the smae principle download or not, you can't say it applies to games that only have physical copys, FEZ was a massive succes and making it multiplatform is going to make it even more of a succes. being one console just limits a games sucess, you can't argue against that. and keeping a game to one platform dosent magically make it better at the begining or not half-life was still eventually ported, and portal 2 was multi-console from the begining. and i highly doubt square has some kind of arangement with PS3 since KH and FF are the ONLY games square keeps strictly on that platform and handheld, if they really did have a deal all of their games would be PS3 only.

your logic is flawed in several areas. number 1 square enix does not profit at all from PS3 sales, square enix isnt trying to sell more console they are trying to sell more games, and they would do that a lot better if KH was on PC and maybe wii U. 2 companies dont make games multiconsole out of fear its to make more money. if i had a fantastic game i knew was going to do well on console i would defeniately port it over to another one that could handle it so i could make even more money and get a larger fanbase. being multiconsole dosent degrade quality. FEZ which is currently an xbox eclusive has plans to be ported to several differnt consoles its so good valve a PC distributor makes their games playable on console even though it could do fine just with sales on PC. Does portal 2 being multi-console mean it couldnt stand on its own? or half-life 2? or left 4 dead? no, it dosent.

how is pointing out the flaws PS3 has compared to xbox make me a fanboy? i never said xbox is better than PS3, all i said was it has those flaws and that theres not one "rule all" console. also cross game voice chat is essential if your someone who likes to play multiplayer games in a community or just game with freinds. if PS3 had that theres not a doubt in my mind it would be waaay farther ahead of the xbox 360 especially with free multiplayer. although backwards compatability with all the models would have helped, why they stopped doing it after the first model is completely beyond me.

trust me the controlls would work fine. maybe not as smooth as a console but not nearly as hard to use as a flight or lego game on PC is without a gamepad. and im not saying that its likely to get ported to PC, im just saying its ridiculous that its not when there are so many reasons to port to PC, profit included, they would make more money per PC sale than PS3 sale because you dont have to factor in packaging and a blu-ray disc. im half considering making a PC port petition on FB once an international release is announced(if it isnt were gonna need a petition for one )

using a PC cant be that bad with controlls. you have hotkeyes for magic and stuff, mouse to look around and hit. WASD to move around, space bar to jump. the controlls cant have been that bad on PC for the emulator unless they were not changeable

your looking at that way too literally. xbox dosent = a PC. xbox might not be popular but that dosent mean PCs arnt popular, last time i checked they have 2 MMOs on PC and a 4 day long sale dedicated to square enix games published on PC on steam. xbox popularity dosent mean a damn thing about PCs also. im not fighting for an xbox release but since you people keep bringing up xbox popularity in japan, when the hell has that EVER stopped another japanese developer from publishing on xbox? SEGA, Capcom, NAMCO and tons of other developers/publishers will put games on the 360 even though its not popular in japan. now shutup about xbox. i didn't bring it up you people did and your using an empty argument.

but nintendo systems are. the 3DS in japan outsolde the PS3 in lifetime sales (tells you something PS3 fanboys now dosent it?) and i have never in the OP fought for an xbox release graphics....being an issue....for a game that uses 3DS level graphics. and i've already pointed this out in the OP. read the whole thing before making assumptions

well Wii U isnt primarily more controller based. and it has the pro controller avalible. (would be pretty fun though to uise a keyblade like the lightsaber in force unleashed though, but thats just me) also so much win with the heart joke

and thats your opinion. but there are many more people who enjoy playing games on PC, nobody is saying make kingdom hearts PC or wii U only. also no one console is "King" right now PS3 might top xbox graphics wise but it has so many flaws that xbox dosent. no backwards compatability(which is just pathetic), no cross game voice chat, no trophy auto-sync, the amount or system updates and the time it takes to install them.
