Well in story missions that's not an issue cuz those are so easy,in fact by story missions alone this is the easiest Final Fantasy game I've played But in sidequests that has you fight a long horde of enemies,giant monsters and super bosses the AI need to at the very least be competent. The absense of healing spells doesn't help either with how useless the magic in this game is except the few situational moments where you need it

....braindead(except Ignis when you set him to heal but he drains your potions like nothing else) most of the time I can't help but wonder if FF should be an ARPG in the first place

Well,when you use the team up attacks with them and buff their equipments But most of the time they don't know how to dodge and they take damage from stuff that are easy to run from It got so bad with me during one of the heist missions on one of the Nifilheim bases where I wasted 7 phoenix downs to bring them back and trust me some of those missions can take really long.When I have control of my party then I'm to blame for the missteps but when the AI is braind...

HOLY SHIT GUYS I WASTED MOST OF MY POTIONS HEALING YOU STOP DYING LIKE DUMBASSES......me screaming at my party in FFXV.It feels like you have 3 Donalds on your team except that you constantly need to heal them

IT was good in everything except XIII ATB isn't bad,it's XIII that added stupid shit like auto battle

Also make sure to unsub from GameXplain if you're subbed to them cuz they just got BoTW and Switch and they're gonna flood your sub box with Zelda videos

Well I do believe they're in love but that's all the game told us.And the sad thing is,the movie kingsglaive shows more character for her than the actual game

Besides flashbacks,no they never met again once and by the time Ardyn pokes her like a Tonberry the reaction I got was........eh? I was more feeling sorry for Noctis than her as she's by no means an Aerith

And don't even get me started on the scenes that were cut out from the game like Luna suffering from child abuse by the Nifilheim empire. Square Enix nowadays suck at making their characters humanized(well except Noct and his crew)

Yeah,heck since everyone has iphones and androids(Noct is using one ) they had more than one way to chat with each other instead of exchanging letters with Umbra as if it's the medivel times.In Altissa they could've arranged a meeting between the two before the Leviathan ritual when the negotiation took place

Oh,that shuts me up then Still I wouldn't have thought of that if Luna was worth caring about.And it doesn't help that all her speeches is the good ol pretentious Square Enix poetic vocabulary of destiny,fate,light and darkness.I get it she's the Oracle but she doesn't need to talk like that all the time

I get Kingdom Hearts.I played every entry and read every interview and Ansem\Xehanort report and I can tell you right now: The plot is a firetrucking convoluted poorly written mess Just because I understand it doesn't mean it's good

@The 13th Kenpachi The reason Aerith's death was effective was because you spend an entire disc of the game with her and saw her character grow and bonded with her.When Luna died however I was like....THANK YOU ARDYN. and like Yusaku said Iris got way more screentime than her heck she should've been Noct's love not Luna

Honestly what do you define as a nitpick or as a criticism? And I want you right now to tell me at least ONE bad thing about KH One issue with it's plot in particular or gameplay The man doesn't need to be an official reviewer to give his opinion HE NEVER SAID HIS VIDEO WAS A REVIEW EVEN,IT'S JUST AN OPINION FOR GOD'S SAKE Kingdom Hearts isn't perfect.Deal with it.Deal with the fact that maybe....just maybe....people have the right to not like it

Am I the only one who couldn't care about Lunafreya while playing FFXV?Cuz all the game tells you about her(besides Kingsglaive and the Brotherhood OVAs) is that she's a Female Jesus and she's Noct's fiance......not much else besides her duty as oracle and she's so bland

I did watch SuperButterBuns's videos,I have some issues with her but she's pretty cool

ok ok let us be honest here for a second with ourselves And I wanna try really badly not to be rude Regardless if the criticism was constructive or not,you guys never gave anyone a chance the moment they say any negative thing about Kingdom Hearts I remember posting the video of Birth by Sleep The turning point here and people before watching 10 minutes of it lambasted it as "wa wa wa he's too negative he just came to hate on the series" even if in the video I linked back then the guy WAS A KH FAN WHO SPEEDRUN KH GAMES. You guys can't take anything negative towards Kingdom Hearts,plain and simple. Constructive or not you'll shun it down the moment it surfaces and the same goes for the series's director Tetsuya Nomura who I swear this fanbase puts him on the same level as God or something I would've believed your words about "constructive criticism" if you or anyone on this site ever actually allowed criticism towards the series to be passed anyway when pitchforks are risen on almost every thread I made and some had people telling me to get out of here What I'm trying to say is:Learn to be open and accepting towards criticism even if it's towards your most favorite franchise of all time

So what?His video wasn't a review,it was from a livestream and reactions from that can be raw Did he say something like you guys suck for liking it?No?Then he did nothing wrong as far as I can tell I had lots of my favorite games being disliked by dozens of people as someone who plays Pokemon and Shin Megami Tensei yet I don't let that bother me as long as the one hating the game isn't insulting me on a personal level It's a video game,Kingdom Hearts as a brand won't get destroyed if one person didn't like it.And I've seen much much worse hate on the series than this and that's coming from me who bitch about KH's plot and characters all the darn time

You have every right to not like a game regardless of everyone else's opinion about it It's just the KH fandom is so butthurt and full of themselves to the point that they get offended by the slightest amount of criticism a KH game get or it's director Nomura receives I had dozens of people here who told me to leave the site just because I said I don't like Birth by Sleep And I fell out of the series two years ago.There are much much better RPGs out there that took the concept KH had and did it thousand times better without the convoluted bullshit

Eh I think XV is waaaay better than XIII by virtue of better characters at least As for the battle system.........Would've been fine if it didn't encourage you to use auto attack.Sure you can choose manually but it;s much slower and once you cast the scan spell Libra on an enemy auto attack will pick the weaknesses for you.That and the fact that A\they purposefully halt your level progression until the next chapter so you can never grind and B\Every boss is the same strategy.Ravager until he staggers,switch to commando to deal massive damage,heal with medic if you need to,rather rense repeat for every single boss............not to mention the absurd amount of HP that even normal enemies had which made battles a chore to go through And while I didn't like XV's leveling up system,at least it wasn't the big fat lie that is the crystarium Again,my opinion so feel free to disagree since I'm just telling my personal experience

Well I give XIII that if the story and writing wasn't complete garbage (in my opinion...more power to you if you enjoy it and I respect that)

It's the job of the translator to accurately convey the text and we have the right to say our interpretations based on what we got This isn't a conspiracy where someone would risk their job just to mistranslate someone's words on purpose. What you're basically saying is :He's someone from square enix therefore he can't be wrong Cuz I have the feeling if it wasn't a Square Enix guy people wouldn't have defended him.This white knighting is the reason the series's quality has dropped to the ground cuz people just don't have the courage to admit that there is something wrong with their favorite brand thinking it might make them less "true-fans" or some nonsense A true fan would want the series to get better and learn from it's mistake not just set there and say "It's final fantasy,therefore it's automatically good and can't be criticized"
