The e-sports thing depends on how competitive-friendly it can be Before thinking about big e-sports event they should try to see if they can get the game to be at EVO Buuuut all of that depends on how balanced the game is and as much as I love and adore Dissidia the series is anything but balanced The Broken stuff that one can exploit with characters like Kefka,Sephiroth and even Exdeath sometimes doesn't leave much room for creativity without banning a good chunk of the roster That,and they should have the RPG stuff disabled from ranked competitive matches whether online or at a competitive setting.Levels should be scaled to at least up to level 50 so each character could have all their moves unlocked In conclusion,balance wise try to make it more like Pokken Tournament and less like the Naruto Storm games(love those too but it too is broken as firetruck especially Storm 4)

Assuming he plays MEtroid ever again after this Oh btw his patreon payed over 1258$ for both Prime 1 and Persona 3 and he rage quitted both

I saw it on finalfantasy.net It looks like the most generic character creation mode that you could ever find on any western RPG ever And again,and this is something addressed on my status,why do those character creation modes are very limited with the age of my created character? It's either middle aged buff dude or old buff dude......no option for say.........make someone a teenager(cuz I'm sure a rated T franchise would have some teenage fans) Some say cuz pedophilia which is bullshit when some of those games let you create a little girl that's not even 15 sometimes like in some korean MMOs Or how about someone that's not entirely muscular cuz I don't need to be Mr Buffy McBuff dude to carry a gun or a normal sized sword

You mean the leveling up system? It felt kinda uptose and besides Ignis maybe you can blow through most if not all of the game without using it That,and the game is pretty easy. I love FFXV but man is it one of the easiest Final Fantasy games I've played.I haven't gotten a single game over yet even in post-game.

Fair enough But let's look at Square's development pattern without all this fake nonsense shall we? Until I see a playable build of episode 1 of FFVII remake at some point in E3 I'll remain skeptical and worried on Nomura's statement of "we're still working on that opening scene" It's been a whole year since the gameplay trailer from PSX 2015 and they're still at this very early point of the game?The Bombing Mission is like gameplay wise 30 minutes of the prologue in midgar(which takes around 3 hours until you leave the city to the world map).If they've been working all this time on just the opening bit before the mechanical scorpion boss fight.....then that's a really worrying indicator on the pace of the progress they're making. And before the fanboys go "Dude they're remaking an entire planet cuz gaia in FFVII is so huge"........ummmm this statement applies to every single RPG ever made because of how vague it is I beat Final Fantasy VII,I love Final Fantasy VII but that game isn't the biggest RPG in the world when talking about scale even by Ps1 RPG standards,I can apply the above mentioned statement on FF9,Xenogears,FF8,Suikoden 2,Lunar,Legend of Dragoon ....etc to name a few.And outside the Ps1 circle,Final Fantasy 12 and Xenoblade Chronicles are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay bigger than FFVII but that's to be expected with better technology with the Ps2 and Wii And the second point is:Nomura's other projects Anyone who tells me that it won't affect the other games are lying to their faces and don't know what the job of director entails so allow me to be redundant here for a second A director is in charge of more than just story and writing,he\she is in charge of marketing,scene shooting and choreography,information distribution,bug testing,quality assurance.........etc.A director is pretty much the leader of any given project. Nomura's working on Kingdom Hearts 3 AND the FFVII remake will affect both games in various degrees cuz like I mentioned he's in charge of all the above mentioned for both games.Do you really think he'll just abandoned his child Kingdom Hearts and put more effort on directing the remake of a game from 1997 that he never directed or wrote the script for beyond character designs(he designed the characters but he's not the one that gave them their personalities as that's the job of the writer)? With Kingdom Hearts he has co-directors like Nojima and maybe Tai Yasue to keep him in check where he shines as stated by Nomura himself in interviews for KH1 that he never was into directing to begin with but accepted to do so to supervise his own franchise....notice how he didn't direct any FF game before until the financial successes of KH1 and 2 And sadly in turn,because he has to show off some progress for the VII remake that would have it's side effect on KH3 too as he mentioned in a recent interview that a lot of worlds haven't been even touched yet..........KH3 was announced in 2013 and the only progress made it seems was on Olympus Colosseum,Twilight Town and the Tangled World And without any possible 2.9(hopefully there won't be one).....KH3 should be put on a possible deadline especially if the higher ups and investors in both Square and Disney are expecting a decent report of profits by the end of the fiscal year for 2018 The moral of the story is,and I swear I'm beating a dead horse here: Don't have a single director be in charge of dozens of projects.Let him focus on one at a time and let someone else take the helm for the other project People have reasonable fears to expect that the VII remake might be the next 15.If Nomura was this good of a director then why would Square pull him off from Versus XIII if he's a more prestigious director than Hajime Tabata and others within the company?If you say the reason is KH3 then why didn't they do so much earlier when Nomura was directing FIVE Kingdom Hearts games with 358\2 Days,Birth by Sleep,Re:Coded,Dream Drop Distance and Chi(X)?Not to mention his work on stuff like 0.2 for the 2.8 collection. Until KH3 hit store shelves I don't expect FFVII remake episode 1 would come out until Holidays of 2019 to be honest and that's at the earliest if they're gonna pad each part of the game into 30 hours affair for each charging 60$ for each disc of the game

It bugs me that people don't fully realize what a director does Having multiple projects be assigned to a single director will have an effect on all of them as,once again,he's charged with marketing,distributing informations,bug testing,scenario writing and scene directions......etc Heck in a recent interview Nomura stated that they're still at the opening scene of the bombing mission and how the remake might span multiple console generations which is complete nonsense Hence why all they had to show is a promotional image.

He is the director.Director includes being in charge of decisions regarding marketing,writing,bug testing.....etc among a plethora of other things The marketing team probably had to go on with the material nomura gave to them as the director so he has a lot of saying on the matter And may I ask out of curiousity,What info does this pic tell?That Sephiroth is in the game?Duh he's the main villain Sure the pic looks absolutely beautiful heck I'm using it right now as a desktop wallpaper but it doesn't tell me anything that I don't know about FFVII already The best thing to come out of the 30th anniversary event was the release date for FFXII Zodiac on Ps4 and the Gladiolus episode DLC for FFXV....both of which I'll buy day one especially XII But how long has it been since the last VII remake trailer?And I mean the second trailer in PSX 2015 not the E3 2015 teaser?A full year of drought for the game in terms of news with very vague statements on how each part will be a full game(A.K.A the prologue of Midgar costing 60$ maybe) Yes you could say they wanted to focus on XV but that's done by an entirely different team with a different director with their own marketing plan maybe because he's focusing on KH3,2.8......etc?Fair enough,but that begs the question of why they put the guy in charge of a gazillion projects in the first place?

Ummm no the one who really wanted to be a movie director is Motomu Toriyama If he really wanted to be a movie maker he would've made Mistwalker into a film studio not a game studio.Heck if anything Nomura is the one seems to be obsessed with movie quality visuals

I've already said my personal opinion on the matter in detail so I recommend that you check Polygon's article on FFVII's development and how his fellow co-workers descripe his work ethics. Basically it gives a clear image why he was pulled from XV........hell in that same article it mentions an interview where Nomura himself said he doesn't like being a director

"Leave Nomura alone you bullies,let him take his time to make games great" we did......and it took 10 years for a single game to come out with only 3 years of work done by a different person who tried his best to fix the mess and that person came out with a good game yet a very unfinished one due to Nomura pondering whether he should make it a musical or not

I hope the PS4 rerelease of 1.5+2.5 includes the option to change the music to the original tracks.Yes the remixed OST is nice and all but for me I kinda prefer the original OST when it comes to KH1 specifically
