whoa. Someone mentioned Hajime no Ippo. Mine would be a horror, sci-fi, psychological series. Sorta like, MPD Psycho (but with sci-fi) I really cannot relate too much as far as series go, due to I hardly watch TV series, except for Sit-coms

I hope you mean you are the second biggest, I am REALLY obsessed with the Franchise. Especially with Star Ocean First Departure. Til The End of Time was awesome! I clocked nearly 400+ hours into the game. It was one of the best storylines I think.

I feel kind of sad that you did not know that about me, but nevertheless I am an obsessed fan. (I love Star Ocean more than Kingdom Hearts, on profile) I will say this, it is a cousin battle system to the Tales series so it is partial free-roam. The stories are awesome in my opinion (Last Hope was okay, good first starter game), they do seem a bit time consuming but nevertheless if you like Sci-fi I say it is a must. Star Ocean is known for it's weird story lines and whell rounded character development. Long story short, If you played a Tales game it is set up very similar Last Hope was my least favorite of the American releases, but good game to get you use to the gameplay My favorite game is the first Fantastic Space Odyssey for the SNES but re-released on PSP for the first time for Americans I say if you do not like Last Hope do not give up on the series. Lastly Have fun, it is a very fun series. Details on Last Hope by itself, The main character is quite annoying, and the story is so-so, but it is a short game, and at a fare price it is worth just to give Star Ocean a shot. The voice acting could be better (but what game couldn't) Music is top notch, but not as good as previous titles. So yeah hope these answer your question.
