Monster Hunter series, yeah. Mechanical fantasy, you might be able to call it. The monster itself is comparable to a minotaur, but replace any human parts with more brutish gorilla parts.

So I've got an idea for a relatively short roleplay with four hunters fighting a single monster. Any interested?

Name: Amber Preferred name: Appearance: Weapon: Buckler. Able to deflect most attacks and projectiles. Can also inflict considerable concussive and occasionally piercing damage. Not directly attached and can be slightly adjusted in terms of positioning. Abilities: Telekinetic abilities over his buckler, but also able to produce a slime-like substance that he’s capable of liquifying and solidifying at will. Backstory: An interplanetary wanderer. Amber has spent his entire existence going from planet to planet. It wasn’t until he encountered the installation of the Injectors led by other Gems where he had seen others of his species. Unaware of the cultural differences, he’s rather distant, only associating with those he finds trustworthy enough. Fusions: None yet. Orange

The following is the first of what might be several relatively short roleplays based on the video game series Monster Hunter. Prior knowledge is helpful, but not required. The Rajang. An ultra-aggressive creature that is rarely sighted and seldom survived. Survivors report it exhibits a strange attack. The Rajang is said to be a loner, and this isolated life has made it difficult to pin down its territorial leanings. Four heroes who specialize in the hunting of rare monsters such as these gather to embark on a quest to slay the beast, or better yet, bring it back alive.
