  1. That'll be good for her as long as she's not uber powerful.
  2. Well storywise Kairi's more important. But action wise Goofy is. He supported Sora through some of tje most powerful enemies. What did Kairi do that supported a character during something drastic? The only time I can name off is that Heartless incident.Well anyone can use that shield, but Goofy use it... well Goofy~like. I don't think anyone can spin around and fly or zigzag across the area in the air or mimic Sora's Keyblade throwing like Goofy. Also AI sucked on PS2.
  3. I only have one problem with this. Xemnas did use his full power, but he gained way more power by going in that fake Kingdom Hearts. And for some of the Org. XIII members it wasn't just pure luck or overconfidence. I consider Marluxia's battle legit. As for Ansem you got me. That door finished him not Sora (although he looked like he was in a lot of pain calling out to The Door of Darkness). But nevertheless I'm sure Kairi may be more powerful than I think now that I think of it. IDK about Xehanort powerful, but fighting capability in general.
  4. No. Look. Compare KH Sora to KH2 Sora. See the difference? Now wait for KH3 and compare KH and KH2 Sora to KH3 Sora. See the gap? What I'm saying is it still took time to get there. They went through Org. XIII, powerful heartless, and Ansem. What did Kairi go against with the Keyblade? Only 2 heartless. That's not nearly comparable to Sora and Riku's progress. See I think she should be taking on powerful heartless at best and not Xehanort. He's several levels above her. I repeat. She should fight, but not Xehanort. He's too powerful. She'll most likely would be on the level of KH Sora in KH3. At least she get proper training. Also what fighting skill in the game did Kairi show? Manga are non-canon in this.
  5. Ok. I used hyperbole with that baby thing. There would be no chance for that baby. But you got to admit that using a shield is harder than using the PHoL you didn't even attend to use to protect your friend nevertheless.
  6. It can't be just "anybody" nor does it have to be Goofy. It has to be someone who's strong enough to pick up the shield, be quick to think and on their feet to get from Riku to Sora, and be true friends with Sora to not betray him to do his mission the King ordered. Unlike anybody who has a PHoL just needs to have a PoH and don't need to train AT ALL to use it. That's what I mean. Heck if a baby had a PHoL and was crawling to Sora to save him and reached him, he would have been saved.
  7. 1) That was the power of the Pure Heart of Light. The reason why I call it (and not her) a plot device is because she didn't even know how to use it, doesn't know what it is, and doesn't even know it existed at that time. 2)That was the PHoL she possessed 3) Ok she can pick stuff up. She isn't useless. But I don't see her battling Xehanort. 4) I know she's important in that regard as well. And unlike Kairi with her PHoL, Goofy knows how to use his shield. She'll most likely would have stumbled or hurt herself if she tried to block it. Being a PoH isn't a skill. She was born like that. She didn't need to learn or improve in using it correctly. A soldier needs to know how to handle a rifle, an architect need to know how to read a blueprint, and a doctor needs to go to a college or university to get a caduceus. These were all gained through hard work, unlike Kairi and her PHoL. Exactly. Being a PoH means you don't have to be good at anything to be a PoH unlike a good magician or defender. That's why it's a plot device. If everyone had a PHoL for a week they'll all use it with the same proficiency, unlike using magic or a shield where people will be bad or good with it. The PHoL are there just to move the plot forward. Nothing much more. Ok. But he already had the memories of others. If he didn't have memories of Riku, Donald, and Goofy then they'll be just as important to him as Kairi.
  8. Sure it isn't real experience, but like I said it helped and it was a start. Ahh, but you aren't Sora or Riku nor do you know how to self-teach yourself either. Sora and Riku where never taught by anybody but yet they're better at fighting than Ansem, Xemnas, and the Org. XIII.
  9. Sora wasn't dying. He was becoming a Heartless. And that wasn't Kairi or her "skills" that saved Sora. It was the plot device named Pure Heart of Light. If any character had a Pure Heart of Light that was by Heartless Sora (Example: D&G) would they be able to save him w/o knowing how to use it? Yes. Would Kairi know how to use a Staff or Shield w/o knowing how to use it? No. Also you shouldn't be proud of memories of Kairi were holding him back of getting out of her slumber. That makes her seem like even more of a pain. Also you can't just watch people fight and be good at it. It's a start though. She most likely just watched anyways.
  10. And why do people think the wooden sword was useless? In terms of hurting, then yes. But in terms of self-training, skill, and fighting style, then no. When you had to fight the Heartless the 1st time, you used the same technique you used with the wooden sword and it was very effective. Without the wooden sword, then they wouldn't even know how to fight. It was treated like a training sword by Sora and Riku. I give the wooden swords major props.
  11. The wooden sword is the weapon that set up his and Riku's fighting style. It helped. It wasn't just a play toy. Also it could be possible for Sora to fight a Xehanort by himself like he did with Xemnas the 1st time.
  12. Did you vote for Stitch? I see no Peter Pan.
  13. Title says it all. Also I couldn't fit Drives in it so you have to type it down. Mines would be Comet, Speedster, Genie, and Final. Link to these moves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Qev1xggOoY
  14. Well I agree with you on everything else except Sora's fighting style. It's great and was self taught and self improved himself in it. But that fighting style began from fighting with a wooden sword. Until he loses against someone just as badly as Aqua, Terra, and Ventus, Sora will be fine with his fighting style. It's a fun-looking style to say the least. Also I'm quite certain Keyblade wielders can choose how to use their Keyblades. Look how different Ventus, Aqua, and Terra use theirs.
  15. So pretty much we'll have to wait till KH3. Ok I think Kairi will be as good as KH1 Sora in KH3. Compare KH Sora to KH2 Sora. See how big of a gap KH2 is from KH? Now when KH3 comes out, compare KH Sora and KH2 Sora to KH3 Sora and see how big of a gap it is. Kairi will be KH Sora compared to Sora in KH3. And you think she'll be able to help defeat an Xehanort. At best she can defeat Heartless bosses.
  16. Well I already know she's more important story ~ wise, but I base my importance on actions they took. So pretty much in this category Kairi < D&G action wise. That's undebatable.
  17. This was a cool fight, but the one in my sig is a 1000x better.
  18. They need to bring Limits and Forms or something similar to be the best to me.
  19. The only ones I can consider original that have Keyblades are the ones that had one in KH. But D&G still hold the most original of them all.
  20. Donald and Goofy are the oldest and maybe only main characters that don't have a Keyblade. I'll give D&G the title: The Originals
  21. I don't see Kairi nearly as important as D&G because it seemed like she was just there. She has done almost nothing to serve the plot except being a plot device. Kairi at the end of KH3D seemed like she came out of nowhere. OT: Also I have a certain feeling that D&G are going to have an even stronger role than they had in any other game.
  22. As you stated yourself she's only important because of a plot device. With this logic Cinderella is more important than Sora. I base importance on their actions. Sora, Donald and Goofy saved the KHverse. What did Kairi do that tops this? Being a PoH? That's not an action. That's a plot device.
  23. I just have a gut feeling that Kairi will affect the trio in some way. I don't know if it's positive or negative.
  24. Well it could be like war IRL where there're many deaths but also few or many survivors that escaped and surrendered.
