		The Mask Returns (RP Thread)

Arbor politely accepted the help to get off the ground, having been unprepared for the impact which caused him to fall as well. "Apology accepted....but Im the one who should be saying sorry. I failed to pay attention to my surroundings." He said as he puts on a smile. "Im Arbor, Arbor Grey." He looked at Mary for a moment before adjusting his glasses "Weren't you walking someone? Another girl I believe." He asks.

Arbor sighed, "Remember Arbor, this is how humanity is. People bustle about their lives. Going from place to place like clockwork. Its routine." He glanced back at the newspaper "and then there are those without routine." He continues walking to his classes, muttering to himself.

		The Mask Returns (RP Thread)

Arbor looked at the newspaper stand, swiftly judging that the newspaper would be dull today. He continues his walk, putting his hands in his pockets. "I havent the time for the tabloids today. Ive got class..." Arbor mutters to himself, as he walks. He turns his head and take a glimpse of those who are walking across the sidewalk on the other side of the street.

I haven't role-played in a while so pardon me if my skills are a bit rusty. Name: Arbor Grey Age: 19 Gender: Male Personality: Arbor is quiet and reserved. He tends to keep to himself and often locks himself out from the world. He would often prefer to stay home and play video games then go out with friends (which he will do from time to time) Arbor enjoys his life on the internet and tv screen. He feels bigger and far more important. He is still kind to others and often is very polite. He manages to pull off a smile most days, but like others has days when he feels down about something. Appearance: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/b3/8c/00/b38c0003738220663d86584733913302.jpg Mask Appearance: Green Eyes, Green Collar, Dark Green Trench Coat with a sword at his side. Plain black shirt. Mask Personality: Rather than being reserved, he doesnt hold back. He acts like a gentlemen, but he will try to be more of a ladies man (this concept will be a new one for me). Arbor will usually be looking for trouble and at the same time attempting to help those in need. Mask Powers: His Physical speed and strength is greatly improved. He can summon things to aid him (often from video games he has played.) His mental Capacity is also increased. But the maximum time he can ever use the mask is five hours, he usually passes out by three.

		The Wild Cards

The Wild Cards: Chapter 1 part 1 "The smell of gunpowder and the sense of control over life and death." Damon grins as he rests the custom APR308 Sniper Rifle into his shoulder. He aims it over the edge of the tall concrete building. Moonlight shining down upon him. He looked through the scope. "This will be sinner number 79." He said as he lined up the crosshairs to his targets head. The man was in his mid 40's he looked like your stereotypical business man. "This is the last false act of kindness your gonna give to the world! Damn thief!" He muttered as he flicked off the safety. The man continued to speak with two other people. Making a deal of sorts. "Three. Two. One..." The men were about to shake hands when suddenly the business man dropped dead as a bullet entered his skulls and, in an instant, exited the skull as well. Damon smiled as he backed away from the edge of the building and began to disassemble the silenced sniper rifle. He placed each piece carefully into a duralumin case that was shaped like a guitar case and once done he looked at the wooden board that he had placed between the buildings. Then he ran across them before pulling them back. Then he proceeded to climb down the fire escape. Upon reaching the bottom he pulled up the hood of his jacket and proceed to walk to the nearest music store. One he knew very well. "Hunter's Bass" the sign read. "He really needs to change that sign... It makes him way too obvious" Damon muttered to himself. As he walking into the store. A bell chimed. He walked up to the front desk and rang the bell. "One moment Ill be with you shortly" a female voice answered the chimes in the back The store was without a doubt a music store. Not too big but not too small. It had a wall lined with CDs and Vinyl Records. Another with Guitars and other instruments. The sound of an electric guitar came from one of the back rooms where someone seems to be learning how to play. Damon sighs, he has been here all too often. After all this was where he had his encounter with The third deadliest. An assassin that he knew had the potential to be the deadliest but appears to hold back. He was in a league of his own and Damon knew he had no chance even if he himself was a Deadliest. The Deadliest were assassins in Neo Boston City, but not just any assassin, they were the top 7. Their identities, unknown to the police force, and referred to only by their calling cards. Arsenic, Hawk, Tracker, Violet, Spade, Thief, and Phantom. But to Damon these were just names. A girl with long blonde hair wearing a loose white shirt overtop a tank top walks out from the back room and stands behind the counter. A hair pin rests in her hair in the shape of a flower. "Oh." She looked around the empty store "how did the contract go Spade?" Damon looked at her, again, to him the title was just a name. And the girl he was looking at was the fourth deadliest, Violet. "It was fine. Now what have i told you about calling me that?" She smirks "How many times have I cared to listen to you?" She rests her hands on her hips. "Touchè." Damon hastily replied "Are you two going at it again?" Arose the rough voice of a man who stepped out of the room where he seemed to have been teaching a young child how to play guitar. He wore black shades, his hair was an unkept rust color, his attire consisted of a hunting vest, a long sleeved t-shirt, a pair of jeans and combat boots. He loomed over Damon and Violet and just by looking at them you could tell he could take both of them on. "Dheas....." Muttered Damon. "Damon you really should stop arguing with Yuri so much. She can kick your ass." He gave a hearty laugh. "Ive seen her do it before and Im pretty sure she has no qualms with doing it again." He explained as he took the money the child handed to him, put it in the cash register and gave him the exact change. Then he smiled at the child. "Dont forget James..." "Practice makes perfect!" The child smiled as he finished Dheas' sentence. "There ya go!" Dheas ruffled the hair on the kids head. "Now remember, be safe on your way home." The child nodded and then left the music store. Damon just watched Dheas. "Is this really the 3rd Deadliest, Tracker, the Underworld's Hunting Dog?" He thought to himself as he remember the one sided beat down he found himself in. Then Damon was pulled out of a daze he didn't notice he fell into by Yuri. "Damon!" She yelled "Huh?!" "We are closing up shop so unless you want to be locked in here I suggest you get your butt moving!" "Right...." He said as he followed the other two outside. "So where is Mary?" "Oh, I think she said something about having detention because of something she didn't do." Said Yuri. "What was it she was in detention for?" Asked Damon. "She told me that she was told that se got into a fight." "So it was probably Sasha who got into a fight. Right..." Yuri nodded "That seems to be the case" As the the three walked by the road Damon remember his accounts with the young girl, Mary. Despite looking like your average high schooler, Mary was the 2nd Deadliest. The strange thing is that she doesn't even know about it. She has split personalities. Mary the Kind and Sasha the Ruthless. Sasha is the actual assassin. The reason Sasha hasn't been found out yet is because of Mary. Due to the split personalities the assassin can hide in plain sight as Mary knows nothing of Sasha, but Sasha knows everything Mary knows. Damon smirked. "Poor girl....blamed for something she doesn't know she did." Yuri nodded. "Its a shame really." Dheas just followed behind the two of them, carefully analyzing every word he hears. "Well since they are both the same person you cant really speak of them like two different people. Sasha knows that there are consequences for her actions. She knows that better that all of us."

		The Wild Cards

The Wild Cards: Prologue 1 Standing within a black room with no windows and No doors is a boy, his eyes were ruby red. The ends of his black hair, turned white. Two wings with black feathers protruded from his back. His red clothing was loose and worn. In front of him, sitting on a red velvet couch was a being with long silver hair. His eyes were blood red. Upon his head sat a pair of red horns. His teeth, sharp as razors, were turned up in a devilish smile. A red spaded tail sways from behind the figure. "Are these terms ok with you....Human?" "Yes they are fine... I accept" the winged boy growled as he glared at the devil. "Alright then its a deal. You have 20 years to repent. If you fail. You will become an immortal who will suffer. Day in and day out." The horned being explained. As he conjured up a flame that formed a rectangle. When the flames dissipated, a paper and pen was in his hand. He extended his hand with the pen to the boy while he set down the paper on a red coffee table that had formed in between the two. "Thats fine. It cant be any different from how I lived before." The boy replied as he took the pen and looked at the paper. It was his contract. His eyes scanned it then he signed his name, Damon Illetuet. The demon watched Damon sign the contract and then smiled his devilish smile "Hehehe....This will be... Entertaining" The boy just rolled his eyes "Lets just get this over with....Satan" The boy then smirked as he held out his hand towards the silver haired devil, who took his hand and shook it. "Good Luck Damon." The Devil told the boy. Then one of Damon's wings began to burn away. Then Darkness surrounded him and he was gone. Satan picked up the contract and grinned. "How will you react to your return? How indeed?" Satan then gave the paper one last devilish look before he too left the room. --------------------------------------------------------- The Wild Cards: Prologue 2 A young girl sits in an enclosed room. Its walls are pure white. There is not a single window and only one door. In front of her is a mirror. There is also a dresser, a bed, and at the top of the room, an intercom sits next to a single bright light. All of which are white. The only color in the room resides on the girl and on the black gloves she wore. For even her clothes are white. Her hair, the color of Lilac, goes down to her shoulders. Her eyes, a deep purple, glow with mystery. "This isn't right. This isn't Living." She muttered to herself as she stared at the black, fingerless gloves on her hands. The backs of the gloves were both different, one had a red cross on it while the other had a horizontal blue line. She then made a fist. "This isn't right. The nine of us are not really siblings. I can tell." The intercom then came to life. "Good Morning Icarus... is there a reason you are up at this hour?" Asked a male voice. The Girl, called Icarus, looked at the dresser where a small camera hatch had opened at. Then she returned her attention to her hands. "There isn't any reason for me to be awake Father" she grit her teeth after speaking "I... just am." "I see, well it is very early so you should return to sleep" the voice on the intercom replied. She kept her eye's averted from the camera. "I will try." She responded unhappily. Then she got out of the chair she sat in and walked over towards the bed. She clapped her hands together and the light went out. --------------------------------------------- The Wild Cards: Prologue 3 10 years later... Another girl, small in size, fragile in appearance, is sitting in a small dark room. The room has one bed, a chair, in which she is sitting on, a dresser, and a desk with a large monitor sitting atop of it. She had blonde hair that rested on her back. Her eyes were a deep blue. The girl's dress she wore was odd in the sense that they would make people think she was trying to look like a doll. They were black and white with some ribbon here and there. Everything but the object that sat atop her head, close in appearance to an alice band, matched such a description. The object itself appeared metallic, with a clear thin panel that would go over ones eyes, like a rather inefficient pair of glasses. The glass panel was currently in front of her eyes as she stared at the monitor. She wasn't touching anything, her hand in her lap, and yet the cursor on the screen began to move and then a series of complicated algorithms here then being typed out on the screen. After about 5 minutes the algorithms stopped. She then looked up at the camera on her ceiling and then spoke. "There. Ive finished my test." "Already?" A voice emanated from the intercom beside the camera. The girl simply nodded. "May i go back to sleep now?" "You don't want to go see your brothers and sisters?" She shook her head "I'm tired and would rather sleep." "Well then I suppose I haven't any qualms about it. Good night Lucille" Lucille then turned off the monitor and walked over to the bed. After taking off her shoes she climbed in and laid down. The visor remained on and she remained silent. Then she flipped a small switch on the headband. ".....Naga? Are you there?" "Of course dear." The voice on the intercom was different. Instead of a man it was a woman's voice. It had a kind and motherly tone. A series of binary codes began to appear in the middle of the girls room. After forming some sort of shape they stopped and then appeared to solidify into what looked like a woman with, instead of legs, a snakes tail. She wore a ki loose kimono-esk top that was white with green blocky outlining. Her hair was long, sleek, and black. Her eyes were definitely that of a snake, colored gold. A forked tongue flicked from her mouth. "Mind if we talk? Its been a stressful 3 years" Lucille said. "You say that every time your feeling lonely." Naga slithered over. "Is it about Icarus again?" She nodded "Aww you poor thing, come here." Naga said this as she gave the young girl a hug. "Just tell me whats wrong. It should make you feel better." Lucille nodded again and then began to talk to the snake woman.... .........With the stage set it is time for the curtain to rise upon the tale of the ones in the shadows begins here.....
