They wouldn't be hated so much if they didn't have the FF brand and yeah I really like 9 and 10 but people like to say that old fans will feel betrayed that FF is in a new direction despite it being better suited for a entire new IP. I'm just tired of them slapping FF on nearly everything they make. And yeah I know square cant escape death three times, I doubt this will kill them if it doesn't do good, but enough projects could put them under, which is saddening to a lot of people. But I hope this could be a wake up call to try new IPs without putting the FF brand on them

I just wish it was something different because I dislike these games being referred as new FF games or FF reboots which isn't good.

With FFXV's Demos and playing them, i generally feel lukewarm about it. I like the engine, the story and such but the gameplay just aint my cup of tea.And not to mention with so much coming around and after it, I'd rather get more of early september and october's releases. Yokai Watch 2, Ace Attorney 6 are coming in september and some great stuff in october. My biggest issue is that the gameplay wants to fast and hectic but tries to balance that by making you slow down with your run being limited and MP draining quick. It also feels clunky with the targeting system and Noctis zipping all over just gets me annoyed as I cant keep up with it.And Nier Automata just looks so better than FFXV, I'm willing to wait for that. I'll watch the movie though, hopefully it isn't spirits within.

Kirby's always good and i want to like Cyber Sleuth but it was so unbalanced on the other modes and it ruined my experience. Uncharted 4 is good.

Agreed on Fates, but I only brought one version too much money fam. and I'll think on FFXV, both demos have been iffy and I've played both to some extent and they're pretty similar tbh. An Ace Attorney this year? you got to be playing with me right? A KH game in December is pushing it for me, I really don't want to be spending money that month on games. Sorry.

SMT4 Apocalypse is the Main Series where persona came from. It has different sell points towards it, just look it up and even try the games over the summer.

You Know Believe it or not I'm in the same postion. Though sadly its a long and tough road since college is gonna be an obstacle for me when the time comes in a few months but my point is if your willing go job hunting online and on foot. Plan every detail on how you want things. People with a vision and ambition can get through things as you have the will. And doing housework of chores shouldnt be a way of making money as people think of it as what is expected of you. It's just how it should be. Anyway sorry to toot my own horn but I'm here to support as I think we are alike, and could provide advice.

From most of the info, sadly it looks like it might not make a comeback as now they're focussing on Speed and on team liability. Even looking like they'll take some mechanics from earthbound or some rpgs where you could skip fights entirely if there just a hassle. Mostly addressing this as some believe it or not are annoyed by the animations from past games, though understandable with Persona 1 and sometimes 4 taking a bit longer. This is hinted at with the Baton pass mechanic instead of the 1 more from past games. it's where you have to pass a turn to another character.
