  1. Ratchet (because Clank is obviously the main character).
  2. Anything vs trebuchet, trebuchet wins. That's just a fact. (Fun fact: when I was a kid, I wrote a Christmas story in which Santa uses a trebuchet to dispose of a reindeer he didn't like. Even Santa knows the power of the trebuchet.)
  3. Between the ass zipper and KH1 Sora's crotch zipper, I think people can come to terms with Aqua wearing cat ears.
  4. I don't get how more features in a game is something to complain about. They can always just not customize Aqua if they care so much. This makes no sense. also to be fair i bitch about plot and game mechanics all the time
  5. Wow, people are really bitching about that? Isn't actual character customization a good thing?
  6. Awesome! Now she'll still have shitty character design, but it'll be my shitty character design.
  7. I would love to say 2.8, but I get the feeling both Nier Automata and Persona 5 are gonna be big hitters. Persona's got a pretty big following outside of Japan compared to other JRPGs and 5 looks pretty damn good, while Nier Automata both a) looks great and b) is the first game in a while that Platinum Games has seriously worked on (Star Fox 0 and Activision cash-in games don't count); I expect a pretty great game from them.
  8. It's been done for years. SE just doesn't think we deserve it yet.
  9. From what I've played and seen, it's basically Uncharted with zombies and crafting (also supposedly great writing, but I personally think the story is pretty mediocre). I doubt the sequel will be much different. I'm guessing that because the PS4 Pro has been getting such negative press, they wanted to really wow people with a bunch of new announcements, and apparently it worked, for most people.
  10. Yakuza 6 and Kiwami coming west is pretty damn balla. It's nice that Sega's recognizing that the series has fans outside of Japan, and I've been meaning to get into the series for a while, so this is the perfect opportunity for me.
  11. I know, and I didn't care about almost all of it.
  12. I'll admit I'm probably just munching on some real sour grapes; I just could not care less about anything Naughty Dog does and that's what everyone is blowing their loads about. I was honestly impressed that the new Yakuza games are getting localized, and the fact that Sony even remembers Wipeout is nice. Nothing else really got my attention though, compared to all the people who are super hype about the entire thing.
  13. When the hell did Sora and Xehanort interact with each other? I really like a lot of the relationships and interactions in the Assassin's Creed series, but the one that stands out a lot to me is Connor and Haytham Kenway. The whole estranged father-son dynamic is done really well especially considering both men's respective relationships with Achilles and Charles Lee. Both are reasonable men and want to reach out to each other to try to get them to their side, but in the end their convictions leave them with no choice but to try to kill each other. It's tragic and meaningful, and it's one of the reasons I like AC3 in spite of it's awful gameplay.
  14. woo high five my fellow hard to impress brother
  15. Uncharted DLC, new Last Of Us, new Knack, new Ni No Kuni, a bunch of remasters, etc. There were some cool things like Yakuza 6 and Kiwami localization, new Marvel vs. Capcom and UMvC3 port to PS4, but overall there was nothing that I thought was actually exciting. Everyone else is losing their shit though.
  16. I cannot be the only one underwhelmed by the PSX show. I can't be.
  17. I mean, you didn't, they're not listed anywhere, and even if you did they're separate worlds with their own journal entries and title cards and everything. Just because you access them through certain worlds doesn't mean they're literally that world. you could have included an "other" option is my point
  18. Never. I just don't think either franchise, which are massive universes, could fit well into an already massive KH universe. Summons or other references are fine, but a Star Wars or Marvel world would inevitably be stripped down and void of what makes those franchises unique and fun.
  19. There's no option for Space Paranoids or Timeless River. Space Paranoids The World That Never Was Twilight Town Timeless River Hollow Bastion
  20. The new Walking Dead season, absolutely. Telltale Games is one of the most consistently quality developers out there, and the first two Walking Dead seasons knocked it out of the park in my opinion, so New Frontier is likely gonna be great.
  21. At the very least, Skull Island looks a lot more colorful than the Peter Jackson one (I liked that one well enough, but it was too long and too gray for my tastes). Plus, it's been like 11+ years since the last one came out, so even if it is similar, enough time has passed that I'd be okay with it.
  22. It looks a lot more fun than I'd ever expect a new King Kong movie to be. Looks like some really cool giant monster action with pretty good effects- plus John C. Reilly has me completely sold on it, he could pique my interest in any movie. Side note- I'm all for every movie company getting their own cinematic universe. If there's anything Kingdom Hearts has taught us it's that crossovers are A+ #1, and it seems to work really well for every company that does it. (Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be patiently waiting for a new King Kong vs. Godzilla movie.)
  23. Holy shit, daytime TV is painfully depressing.
