  1. I think it does have to be a dark realm Keyblade, yeah, Mickey and Aqua both have keyblades and he talks about KKD like it's just what he needed. I took this to mean he was looking for the second half of a relic pair, the two Kingdom Keys, but it's also possible he was looking for literally any dark realm keyblade. Wait, but are you sure the Kingdom Key is just normal? Becuase the X-Blade has two Kingdom Keys. The Kingdom Key is frustratingly functioning like a special relic which the starlights could have been based off of and an ordinary keyblade that could be manifested and wielded by just about anyone I give up, this hurts, I can't do this.
  2. In 2.8, Mickey talks about KKD like having a keyblade of the dark realm is the solution. I'm pretty sure he and Aqua both already had keyblades, so two light keyblades probably wouldn't cut it.
  3. That... feels anticlimactic. And reinforces the point my friend made that Sora could do with a more personal keyblade.
  4. So... that's literally it? Sealing Kingdom Hearts in KH1 just took a light keyblade and a dark keyblade, and I misinterpreted the way Mickey spoke of it?
  5. Do we know where the Kingdom Key comes from? It seems like a relic, and Mickey talks about it like it and its dark counterpart are unique, but we have seen multiple people related to Sora manifest genuine Kingdom Keys, even Data Sora who has no heart connection to the real Sora.
  6. ...that works honestly "Welcome to the Kingdom Hearts fandom, we got Kingdom Hearts 1, Kingdom Hearts 2, Kingdom Heart of the Cards, Kingdom Karts, and Disney Owns Everything: the board game!"
  7. Hear me out: we need a Kingdom Hearts meme putting crappy names on a lot of the games and minigames, like Kingdom Heart of the Cards and Kingdom Karts. Trying to think of a Monopoly pun for Command Board.
  8. Damn. How'd Roxas get to it in 358 then?
  9. What do we know about the World that Never Was? I understand it's meant to be a world that never got a chance to exist, but those dark buildings had to come from somewhere.
  10. And it'll be especially nice starting with more than just Kingdom Key and Mobile Kingdom Key. I mean, I guess I got a few DLCs since then, but Playstation Kingdom Key and Another Kingdom Key are still boring.
  11. Well damn. Ah well, it'll still be nice being able to start with all my waifus, like Oathkeeper, that ice thing, and slappy.
  12. Perfect, and that'll also help me max out all my keyblades since it's surprisingly hard to get base materials like damascus.
  13. Got it, I take it that's an option when starting a new game then, which doesn't affect how I receive achievements or other rewards?
  14. Wait, do all keyblades carry over or am I missing something here?
  15. Yeah, I figured I'd be doing a crit playthrough of 3 soon, since I never actually did that, and it would be nice to have Oathkeeper at my side for that since all the DLC keyblades are pretty similar.
  16. Oh thank god, that saves me so much effort, thank you.
  17. So, do Oathkeeper and Oblivion transcend saves or do you have to beat the game with their intense requirements each time you want them? I want them to transcend saves, but looking at the requirements it looks like I'll need to look up all 90 emblems every time i want Oathkeeper.
  18. Do we have confirmation on whether or not Twilight Town and Daybreak Town are related? Their names are awful similar, it feels like they should be.
  19. I don't think I thought about it until I saw the high-quality KH3 textures. Still, now that we know it's leather, it's impressive how mobile they are. Leather's actually quite heavy. Not as heavy as steel armor of course, but still quite heavy. Actually, that explains Xehanort's back problems. I'm sure he used to wear that coat a lot, and that'd certainly take a toll on his spine.
  20. True enough. But yeah, it's definitely leather or something similar judging by the texture of the material, then the dangly bits are probably silver because that's a holy metal. And light and holiness seem interchangeable in Kingdom Hearts, with a lot of Mickey's abilities being associated with faith.
  21. Holy crap I just realized how heavy that'd be. The leather coat alone would be crazy, especially since it covers the entire body save for the face and hands (which are covered by shadows and a separate set of gloves)
  22. Well yeah, it's magic leather. But then there's the dangly bits, I like to think they're silver but they could hypothetically be any other metal that's shiny, like steel.
  23. I commented in the KH3 chat, but do we know what the Org XIII anti-dark coats are made of? It looks like leather for the main body and silver for the dangly bits, but that's just a guess.
