Actually, is Tangled's keyblade noteworthy in that sense? I know it has a fairly unique moveset in that it only has one transformation and it (probably) does magic damage.

I think that summarizes Shooting Star quite neatly, it doesn't actually do much. I think it affected magic somehow though.

Oblivion and Oathkeeper's transformations are good too. If I remember right, before I sucked it up and got the Ultima, my favorite transformations were the Shooting Star's gun thingies and the claws on the Frozen keyblade.

If I remember right, last time I played I only used ultima because I liked its transformation.

Guess that explains people who go to incredible lengths to make the most powerful pokemon.

Not quite what I mean, I'm not looking for specific keyblade loadouts that are considered powerful, I'm looking for the general theme I should get, like a melee keyblade, magic keyblade, and shotlock keyblade or something.

I need to get used to changing keyblades more tbh. I like Ultima's transformation a lot, but the special effects are probably going to be what makes or breaks the weapon. I haven't played in a while though, and I don't even remember what mode I beat it on. Before I get back to playing, any tips on how to properly use the multiple keyblades so that I have something to strive for other than just "switch weapons more"? Like, should I have a magic keyblade, melee keyblade, and some other keyblade on hand or something?

I just never thought of switching keyblades mid-transformation. Honestly, I'm one of those guys that tends to get really comfortable with one weapon.

Is storing transformations common knowledge?

Not very. I got Ultima and reached the final boss of re:mind and haven't played in a while since.

So I'm watching the Data Xion fight because I remember it being very fun, is there a technique where you store a transformation by switching keyblades? Because that could be useful.
