    To be fair, dandadan also has a streaming deal with Netflix, so there's probably something going on there where they have episodes ready to go weeks ahead of schedule but only release them at the usual time

    There's actually a fair amount of work involved. First the text has to be translated and localized so the actors know what to say, then they have to record those lines, then the animators have to overlay the audio on the footage and change the mouth flaps and whatnot to make it look like they're actually saying those words. I'm probably missing many steps but that's just a quick overview of some of what goes into the dubbing process Now, as for why it's not done yet when other series do simuldubs? Who knows

    I still think making a full season for a training arc was a silly move, topped only by the choice to make the next arc (and possibly the rest of the series) into 3 movies Sure, it was fine for a season, but the decision was silly regardless

    I mean hell, I'd love if some of the other episodes were of different series simply because I don't play those games, but I had no say in what went into this so I just take what's presented and hope they take viewer feedback for a potential 2nd set of episodes

    What a bad take. Like yeah, let's just trash the episode that they put time and money into because the game it's based off was wiped off the face of the earth. And the folow up idea to just replace it with something else, like there's just a spare episode lying around to us instead You and muki both, just so it's clear this isn't directed at 1 person
