  1. Did the disc fairy come and make them all disappear?
  2. They’re white collar pencil pushers lol. Of course they’d be the first to go.
  3. Oh is that how Ai is used for coding?
  4. That’s not really how computers work. They’re good at short term decisions and less so at long term planning
  5. We’ll probably see the same in other industries as well. Cashiers, waiters, and other low skill jobs are stuff AI is capable of as well. But again, moot point because they’re supposed to be replaceable. THIS IS WHY COLLEGE AND CAREER GROWTH MATTERS PEOPLE
  6. It makes a lot more sense to use AI in finance, marketing, and production than anything creative, so honestly the jobs the WOULD get replaced are those which are designed to be replaceable anyway. It’s far easier to find an accountant than a writer, after all.
  7. https://www.videogameschronicle.com/files/2024/01/ai-gdc-2.jpg-768x412.png
  8. It’s a nuanced discussion to be sure. The issue is less that AI is being used at all but more where and how it’s being used. Unless the culture and general practices of AAA development shift drastically, it almost looks like AI will be necessary to get anything done. And indies (who are already struggling to keep the lights on), will ultimately have to compete with this, so what choice do they have? I do get why this is happening though. The economy is taking a crap and costs need to be cut somewhere.
  9. Perfect! Now all you have to do is destroy some balls of light without letting darkness consume you.
  10. Wow. Even cuter with glasses.
  11. Yes please. I’d like one of each.
  12. This is a lot better than I expected!
  13. OH LORD THOSE ARE BEDROOM EYES
  14. Minimum
  15. Matthew Broderick nearly made me gay for a lion. If that’s not a sure sign of talent idk what is.
  16. If knowing is half the battle, then the other half is retaining your sanity It’s the voice acting for sure. Disney really knows how to make animals sound attractive.
  17. When it’ good and ready. DON’T MAKE ME TURN THIS CAR AROUND.
  18. Her expression looks like he’s about to murder her
  19. Getting boiled alive isn't as bad as Cocomelon
  20. We'd live in a world of Minions emojis. The worst possible timeline.
  21. Shockingly, Dreamworks somehow did NOT make the Emoji Movie Even more shockingly, ILLUMINATION somehow did not make that movie! Although I'm sure they were racing Sony for the trademark
  22. And inevitably, Kung Fu Panda 18: Po Saves St Patrick's Day or some shit
  23. Dreamworks? Capable of good ideas? Are we talking about the same company?
  24. Short term profit that will fizzle out extremely quickly, but yes. Money. I find it hilarious how Dreamworks acts like they’re above Disney and yet here they are pulling the exact same shit
  25. But are they trying to trick people into thinking their product is equivalent to Pokémon? That’s what matters legally. If there’s any reasonable confusion at all, then Nintendo has the right to sue Otherwise it’s just a “me too“ product they can do little about
