The one thing I always love about the octopath games is the break system

they always put the weird shit into the after credits scene

including KH3

even KH is not that bad in comparison

my reaction to it is probably somewhere archived in the rebirth chat

I was not happy with the overall ending of rebirth

Like yeah its a good scene, I am not saying its bad or anything

Even if it wasn't surrounded by nonsense, i still wouldn't like it

in a vacuum it's so fucking great

y it just sucks that it's tied to absolute confusion

the church scene was so much more dreading and impactful than the actual scene in the og

I take every change minus the whispers and multiverse stuff + the church scene with Aerith from Rebirth

But it will be a nightmare with multiple endings

Like we are still gonna get it

I don't want more shipping wars man

Well I didn't want it to change much either so

One thing they could do is having multiple endings which would cause people to debate the next years which one is the true ending instead of whining about it

so I'm just along for the ride

it's gotta have to be some pseudo new ending to be satisfying imo. like something that fulfills all the new things while still staying very close to the original, but i feel like that's impossible at this point
