speaking of barret and scenes done well, i recently watched my partner play through Remake for the first time a few weeks ago and i still think the scene where barret [spoiler]mourns the sector 7 plate fall|| is one of the [i]best[/i] scenes theyve done. nothing over the top, extremely fitting music, a man ||screaming for all his loved ones[/spoiler](and the VA did phenomenal)

Palmer is coincidentally also the worst written character out of all the Shinra characters. I'd consider President Shinra, Rufus, Heidegger, Scarlet and Reeve all to be better in the Remake than the og

And then you have that awful minigame with Barret

Immediately after that fight Dio comes in flexing his muscles

It doesn't even stop at Palmer

But yeah even then right up until Barret screams it does it well

Can't think of a better word but I think my point is getting across

idk why Palmer gets even so much screentime. he's a meme character with the only purpose in the story to get driven over by a truck

I still think him dying in a hail of bullets is a lame censorship choice
