imagine the entire sky being full of whispers for the last 3rd of the game

Imagine if any of the Dark Souls games or Elden Ring or Bloodborne explained any more than they do/did Sure you'd have answers But you'd lose so much of what makes those games appealing to experience

They can't be subtle, it has to be over the top

The whispers will be surrounding the whole world with their ugly ass textures while we have a whole cutscene of Aerith begging the lifestream to save the world
