that's another issue of the game. It doesn't communicate content you can miss. fun fact. There's no content you can miss due to the chapter selection which you unlock after beating the game

best advice I can give is skip side content if it starts to ruin the pacing for you. When I reached gongaga and did side content there I hated myself and when cosmo canyon came after I was in "I want to kms" mood💀
